I've been a Jazz Groove supporter for several years. It serves up what I like to call "My Uncle's Jazz". When it's good (relaxing, uplifting, mind-engaging) it's great (most often at night). But when it's not-so-good (string-y, jazz-ish, lazy run-throughs of tired old standards) it can be unlistenable. At least it's not Smooth Jazz, although there's a channel for that in the app. Best of all it's ad-free, making it support-worthy for the times when the music hits the spot.
The app needs a lot of work to make it an app to use. The music is simply fantastic, makesup for all the apps shorfalls. However. thetr is no point in paying for subscription because app dosnt have login option. so one pays but cannot benefit from uninterrupted streem As i said the music selection is excellent. 10 \10, the presenters are excellent charactors, love them all.
Music played is simply exquisite but it must show the names of the artists and the song details always on the cover of the app page while it is being played on. . Otherwise too good, layout is also fine.. Long live the jazz groove. It's one of the very few finest things to have happened on earth. Carry on carry on, life has just begun.
Basic App, less than the web page. Needs all streams and features of web page... And to be truly great should allow downloaded cache. Even if only as a premium feature, see Radio Paradise app, best i've used.

The music and sound is very good, I just wish i could cast to a Chromecast or roku devices as other music app do, so i could appreciate the music more.
A timer would be a great edition. That way I could set it and fall asleep without having to wake up and turn it off later.
something is wrong with the app. website has none of the features . ok there is no east west. cant find a 'what's on'. music via echo connect to internet broadcasting content is nice.
Would be much appreciated if the artist, song title, and perhaps album were displayed as on the desktop version.
The latest version is a huge improvement on its mediocre predecessors. As a supporter I can now avoid the promos. Cheers, groovers!

One of the best Jazz applications
IMO, this doesn't offer much functionality for my $100/yr donation for Premium - for examples, no playlists, likes, or downloads; just no ads & better sound. The website offers more, but I've found that too iffy to rely on. When I joined, I did realize the 4 almost indistinguishable stations on offer play only the "easy listening" sorts of jazz that do sooth okay for periods, as background, while on the road. But I like very many diverse jazz genres & subgenres much more for listening.
