New version is not working, even home page is not loading. I was using this app from very bigening but now I am not able to do so.
Unabe to use the feedback "dropdown" feature and please use "Purna Viram" instead of "full stop" for your Hindi news articles.
Old version was best. New version is worst. Old version was 100% perfect.
The app doesn't work on split screen or in background. The moment you click somewhere else while in split screen mode it will stop playing video. Developers please make the app workable in background too. Came up with this issue within 5 mins of using app. Will keep updating this, coz I like the content and the way it is covered. PS: rating is for app not content.
The scroll up functionality in quick news is not working smoothly. Whereas the scroll up works like a charm in InShorts app. Basically in I need to drag more to scroll up. That is very irritating and spoils the mood of reading quick news. Especially when InShorts is so smooth to scroll up. Hope you understand what I mean to say. Request developers to fix it. 🙏
This is my favourite app for news and media. Before when I played videos and there's a notification, the video paused for a split second and then resumed back automatically. But now, when there's a notification the video pauses and does not resume back. And hence, it takes away the app experience in general. Please fix it as soon as possible. I wanted to give 5 stars, but this bug needs to be fixed.
Dark mode is not supported. Uninstalled
Lots of features not working as these should be 1. If we go for full screen if does not change screen orientation as per mobile position. 2. From full screen you can not go back to normal screen by pressing full screen icon on display. You have to press android back button. From a professional app these things are not expected and this testing should have been completed before launching the app. Anyways there is always a scope of improvement.
The Lallantop channel is a great source of information and videos are usually well composed and content wise very specific. However the Android app is very poorly designed, unorganized and most importantly language option not available. Most of the smartphone users are comfortable with English as display language. So please add the display language option and organize videos in different categories or simply use timeline.
Very slow old app is fater then this.

More buggy than ever with same or more issues. Good news better than mainstream. But app doesn't work chrome cast. No English language support for non Hindi speaking and understanding people. Just for North Indians. No playback speed in videos like YouTube has. Every news site that shows their channel within their app or site has playback speed but not lallantop. No subtitles. Well a limited mediocre app.
I really like the content of Lallantop on youtube. I downloaded the app today to get quick access to the recent news. The experience on the app is not pleasing. While exploring the daily quick news there's a sensitively issue. One has to swipe up and down very harshly to get next quick news. Also if possible, make the app content available in English as well.. I will change my ratings to 5 star once my suggestions are implementd. 😉
I liked your app earlier but now I now have a problem. Now most of the news you are giving are in video format. I can't spend time on watching a video. Kindly give the news in form of text as well. Ads are ok in text articles. I watch weekly episodes videos only. Thanks.
Now a days, I don't watch any news channel. Almost all sections are awesome but special mention to Neta Nagari, Kitabwala, Arthart and duniyadaari. I never missed any if these. But I prefer to watch these on YouTube insteadad of the app. I have the app installed but you can't do a quick forward for 10 seconds to any video in the app. This 2 ⭐ rating is only for aap. Otherwise it would be 5 ⭐. Quick Forwarding the video is a basic functionality, please try to enable it. And I will give 5 ⭐
Application is very good in terms of content, design/ui-ux but the thing which is very annoying is media loading time. specially video takes too much time to load, there is no internet connectivity issue i double check that. Hope you will fix it ASAP.
Too much ads, slow response and some features not working. Content is good but misses some major news also. 'साैरभ से सवाल' is not working. I couldn't post a single question despite multiple attempts. Issue with login and password too. Sometimes navigates to 'Home' automatically. Please make it more user-friendly.
I love this channel as it provides almost everything like daily news, history, health topic, sports etc. I understand hindi but not easy for me to read it freely. I guess there are many like me who understands Hind but cannot read easily. It takes almost 30 seconds to read a complete word. I wish there is language setting on headlines and on the app language.
News is not at all detailed. 70% advertisement and 30% content. After you finished reading some articles you simply think it was wastage to read as no information was provided. Articles are shallow. Requires research. I was very positive and installed the app to read some good news articles, well reasearched and well informed. But I have uninstalled after reading about 160 articles.
Nice app to have updated with news post investigating thoroughly each and every aspect and based on which one should be getting true authentic and genuine news. Sometimes it also have political news as well as good videos ....!!! I think everyone should have this app to keep themselves updated with such resourceful information during these days...!!!
the 'SPOTX' ad annoys a lot. occasionally it's okay, but everytime we launch a news video it wastes 15sec of yours. It's requested to the lallantop team to look over this. Apart from this, the content provided in the news seems unbiased and thorough.
Always loved The Lallantop... Liked the app very much... Of course there will be adds.. but the length and distribution of adds were within patience permissibility... As i am from NE India, never followed/read any hindi articles, but this format seems good.. Its increasing my hindi vocabulary.. But as the other guy suggested some translation option would make it more user-friendly and far reaching.. Ll continue to follow..:-)
User interface of previous version was accessible for blinds vut this updates has so many bugs and it is totally inaccessible pl integrate magnification, Tts feature, subtitles and captioning for hearing impaired TTS means text to speech. Accessibility ka dhyan rakha Jana chahiye while developing.
