The Last Vikings

The hardest part of playing this game is actually getting to play the game. You run out of stamina quickly (especially later on) and trying to use the ad feature to get more is aggravating. The game crashes like, 40%-70% of the time whenever you try to watch one, and if it happens after the first in a series the game loses any credit for previously watched ads.... I played this game a few years ago and it had the same problem back then. It's really a shame because the game itself is fun and addictive. It's a little repetitive after a while and SUPER grindy if you want to get stuff fully leveled, but it kills the time... IF you can get it to run consistently. Honestly I want to give it less stars based on how frustrated it makes me but I don't think that'd be fair overall.

Gameplay is simple, which is good thing in the beginning but gets boring as you progress through the levels. Tapping the "FIRE!" gets repetitive, and I am not a fan of how slow it is to gather up resources and gold. Even if you watch a ton of ads to get res and gold, it is pretty meager. Also: the text for huge speech bubbles is crammed, making it difficult to read what the text actually says. This game feels like it has a lazy design to it.

I have no idea why this game is rated so highly: it literally doesn't allow you to play it. There's a nearly invisible stamina system that prevents you from playing for more than a few minutes every X hours. Beyond that, the gameplay is incredibly basic (almost zero depth) and it's clearly designed with micro transactions and daily interactions in mind. This game is virtually everything that's wrong with modern mobile gaming.

Game crashed and wiped out all my data. I don't use the gamer network (Okay, my fault, but stuff was still saved locally). I'd been playing for just shy of a week, when it crashed. When I logged back in, I was forced to start completely over. Devs should investigate. Aside from whatever caused this, this would be a 5 star game. Can't give 5 stars because I have ni confidence in being able to have a continual game.

Ok, I came back to this game after a while and it turns out it definitely got better. Basically my last review I said the game was repetitive. Now, I feel like battles have more meaning and the game is more generous with the energy system. I kinda just wish now that land battles were more interesting to look at, like enemies spun as they flew off the screen when defeated or something. But the flavor text in this game is great, I can say that!

Too mundane, repetitive... the game consists of the same exact sequence, over and over and over. Drops are very rare and there's no rushing, so getting items consists of going through the same 3 screens on-end. The gameplay never varies and there's no plot to speak of. Purchases are inordinately expensive.

It's fun. But little issues make it impossible later on. For instance, when 2 objects come 1 after the other, they will shoot 1 object 2 times and the other 2 times instead of 3 and 1 making you get hit twice instead of once, little things like that get very frustrating later on, especially during special events whenevery shot counts. Sometimes when you shoot a barricade it does no damage but uses one of your fewshots against the barricade anyways. Things like that ruin an otherwise great game

The font is nearly illedgible and far too difficult to decipher what the text actually says. Essentially what's happening is every row of text is partially merged into the one above it. (I'd assume it's a bug causing the text to not space properly) Other than that thw game is good but couldn't play for more than 15 minutes since I had no idea what was happening.

A fun game that doesn't require any in app purchases to progress! You also don't need to link it to Facebook to save your progress, as long as you sign into Google play. Woke up one morning to find my game reset; went through the tutorial just enough to access the menus, logged back into Google play, navigated to the cloud save menu, selected my save, restarted the game and I was back.

The style of the game is great, the in game characters and their comments are funny and interesting... too bad there is very little to do when it comes to gameplay. Its trying hard but gets quite repetetive. Resource management, leveling up, upgrading and other game mechanics are all over the place. It seems the best way to get resources is to watch ads and even then the resources you get are random and you never really get what you need. After a while I gave up. Lots of unrealized potential

Used to be fine, running into problems... the text bubbles overlap terribly now making any text near impossible to read. I used to play a long while ago and this wasn't an issue, had it rated 5/5 for the gamplay and all else, but now it's an eyesore. Please fix the text!

I really enjoy this game, it's adorable, and fun. Simple and easy to enjoy. I have an issue with the text though. The words are all smashed together top to bottom that the tops and bottoms of words overlap a bit and I can't make out what any of them say.

Thanks for the game! Or, is it real life? Certain characters breaking the forth wall seem to think so.... I think it's a great game. My only question is, "Where does it end?" I'm on world 14 I think? and around ports 350-375. That aspect reminds me of the game, "Gauntlet II" from my childhood. I've only played single player mode, but it's been enjoyable for passing time and well, yes. Thanks!

Right off the bat I was irritated because the devs thought it was a good idea to lock me in at the boat store, but not let me have the resources required to buy a boat. I had to keep killing the game, then restarting, and finally figured out how to get to the cave where I could watch ads to get all the stupid materials to buy the new boat. After that it's been a lot of fun!

I've been 5 minutes in the game and it already asks for the rating, it's kind of disappointing but there is a nice touch to the game that's why I will give it 4 stars. Also, I usually prefer games that let me choose my starting options. I hate when there is a big indicator signalizing that I have to pick this option. Such as the dragon ship telling me to take the hero box, thank you very much for putting so much effort into this game. Enjoying it a lot, have a safe one.

I dont write a lot of reviews but this is more than deaerving. I've played a ton of mobile games, and I've only come across a small handful that are this good. It gently but effectively guides you through everything while still giving you full reign. It's charming and has a great sense of humor and detail that a lot of pc games don't bother with! You can tell people put their heart and soul into this! Ads aren't disruptive or annoying either, and the only time you watch them is by choice.

I really love the game guys and ive been playing it for over a year. Levels arent that difficult for me. The raid system is ok, the events are superb. The only thing I wish for is an easier way to make friends in the game aside from just placing their user code, and make pets easier to obtain. They're probrably OP or somethin because they're really hard to get. But still a good game. I highly recomend it 👍👌

i played this game for a day to be fair. this game is very grindy. i wish dev would give out more free silver to make the upgrades easier, 5 silver per day... your minimum silver to get parts cost 8s. you can do the math. not very exiting to play more. watching the ads is okay, but the rewards are too cheap, 250 gold per ad while you can earn more in a raid. I give 3 stars for the sea battle, those are fun. However, the music is annoying, i muted it when i play the game, sad.

Bought a new boat and upgraded it, which is expensive, only to find that after I woke up, it had used up my resources, but my boat was back to craptastical. This is a fairly fun game, but requires a lot of grinding. Grinding that is for naught, since it decides to save when and what it wants.

very nice graphics, music and ambiance ... but ... very very repetitive. I hoped more arcade, your only interaction is to hit a timed bar to succeed in the same missions. + I guess that upgrading / leveling will take weeks without paying. Anyway, you can still enjoy the beauty of the pixel art + humor.

tbh, i rated 5 stars because i loved the pixel art work, music, dialogues style, smoothness and performance they all had deep potential, and i cant deny that...but i am not interested in the gameplay although it is cool for people who love conquering kindoms and towns and all that stuff, the game is awesome i just wanted to try it but i am not really into that (raiding towns styles) it deserveves to be downloaded and it works for slow low-end phones.

Its simple but cool, kinda hard enough to set sail when people throwing at us, i mean why? Gameplay are nice, but the tutorial are too fast, sometimes i dont understand this and that, raiding need back and forth.. why dont just keep going instead of going back to pier? Really dissapointed with stamina system, not much to do and events says i must login but i cannot for some reason.

Ads are necessary to play this game. If you are not connected to wifi the ads will not load and you will not be able to do all the things that you do from your base/hub to get loot, or upgrade, or whatever that last option when the balloon lands does i forget and I'm not reinstalling just to write this review. So yeah, THIS GAME IS NOT OFFLINE.

Sort of crippling bug where all the text lines are overlapping, so you can't read anything. Applies to all three languages. Seems like a fun game with real soul, just a shame I can't understand anything! *Will change review once this is fixed.
