The Living Bible (TLB)

Smooth experience with this app. I LOVE the fact that I can highlight just a part of a verse - I have so many Bible apps and this is the only one with this feature. The only thing I wish it had is the always on display while the app is in use. It can be tiring having to input pin because you didn't touch the screen.

Easy to navigate,very reliable bible app with little or no hitches. Also I love that I can highlight my favourite verses and store them in a default folder also in the app and refer to it as much as I want and what's more is that I can actually highlight the verses in the colours I like before storing. This bible app makes for a great study experience. Thank you so much for developing and giving us such a great bible app for free, may God honor and reward you. Amen.

I love this The Living Bible app. I LOVE The Living Bible!!! The only thing that I don't like about this app., is that when I'm trying to peacefully read my Living Bible text, they keep posting ANNOYING adds at the bottom of the page, and it is a great distraction, because they put the adds kind of in the way, so I have to keep starting, and stopping, to request that they STOP putting up more, and more annoying ads!!!!! They other Bible app doesn't have ANY ads!!!

This app is great! It has daily verses, daily Gospels, and daily Psalms. My other bible app only gives daily verses. This app is an easy read. The audio works great too. You can adjust the speed of the audio.The only problem is, the ads that keep popping up at the bottom of the page. Other than that, it's a great app !

Exceptionally good. I can easily understand what I read. More often people do not understand the bible because of the use of old English words. Quite often languages also evolve over time and words may change meanings and this is where modern translations by experts become very helpful. I like the living bible for that because it gives the meaning of words as they were meant to be.

The former one was better. This jumps to the top without my reaching to the end of the page.Yes it will carry the correct verse, but for Christ sake, l have never read a book written in this order before. I think it is a mistake. But why bring it out? It is confusing and delays volume read. I wish it could be changed.o

So glad this bible version met my need. I have read several versions but this particular one beats them all. The samples are great, night mode is very unique and easy to use application. Had it been that i had access to this bible application, i would have devoured it by now. Each day that passes by, i hunger for the indepth study of God's word because of its easy to understand usage of english. I like it. Very simple ans easy to find Bible verses. I was expecting something a little easier to search for key words for Bible study purposes. But other than that, I really like it! Especially the different option for a reading plan!

The lanuage of the Living Bible helps me as it just seems to flow and easier to understand. However the reader needs to be aware this is a paraphrased bible and some unforrtunate changes of the text to bow to the paraphrasers' beliefs in areas sacrifice accuracy. But mostly I do enjoy this translation for comparison when doing bible study.

The app is very good. This is one of versions that has tried to use today's English words, phrases, figures of quantity e.t.c making it very easy to understand the Bible. For example, when I read Genesis in TLB, it was sinking into my understanding with easy and I was so touched as if I have never read the Bible before and especially when I came to the story of Joseph revealing himself to the brothers.

Love this version that I can't find in other bible apps. I use it in a prison ministry for it's easy read. I can highlight and write notes easily. Only wish the ads did not distract by flashing at bottom of page.

This makes reading the bible way less intimidating. Ive been reading a few chapters every bus ride and at that rate I can feel good about reading the whole bible in a year or so. Easy to navigate. Jump to specific verses. Highly recommend.

Thanks. Finally glad to rate the app. It is 5 Stars. Find, select and copy verses are excellently easy. You can change font sizes etc. It is offline and available all the time!

Really a good app. Easy to navigate. Good one to have the Word of God in an easy access mode. Kudos to the developers. However I find it annoying seeing "rate us" pop up each time I open the app even after giving it 5 star. Pls fix

Love this bible...cut my teeth on it over 40 years ago....now at 69 yrs. young, I am returning to it for the ease of reading. It is such a good read this way. So familar with other translations that I know I can trust this version. Strongly encourage people to read from this....it had everything to do with me growing in the Lord all those years ago. A+++++++++++. I read it for the sheer Joy of it!

This Bible App has everything I want in a Bible app. The audio, highlight, ease of going to the next chapter, sharing with others and much more. The translation also complements my other Bible reading.

Although this is a paraphrase I believe it delivers the message of God very well. The Living Bible has illuminated passages of Scripture for me in ways that are very helpful in understanding. Pray and ask God if this translation is right for you. Thanks to the developers for making it available for free!

Like the ap, only issue I have is when your finished with a chapter/verse it does not automatically advance to the next... I have to remember what I just read, go back to tge chapter and select next chapter/ verse manually.

Wonderful app, I love it But I think you should upgrade in the way that in a note that is jotted down even if you change your device, when you download the app in another device you can get all your data (NOTE) back. Thanks for your understanding

This is an awesome app. But I think it'd be nice to stop the flow of ads. All the same, it's a wonderful bible version with understandable language that aids efficient bible study.

Absolutely excellent Living Bible translation. The Living Bible could perhaps be described as an easy-to-read paraphrase, which often reveals new truth to well known Bible verses and stories . It is extremely fast and easy to read, and has always been one of my favourite translations, to be used alongside other more literal translations. The Living Bible reads rather like a novel, and is hard to put down! God bless you for providing this wonderful free Living Bible. Dr Richard Kent.

I love this modern English version. Even though is is written in everyday easy to understand conversation quality language, when compared to other approved translations it preserves the meaning and integrity of the original language thought. I also like the fact that it keeps God's personal name Jehovah (tetragrammaton) YHWH, in a few key verses. John 17:26, "I have made your name known to them....." Thanks.

I've only used the Living Bible app for less than 3 months. However in the short time I 've used it , it has proved very valuable, easy to use and very incisive. I'm looking foward to seeing how I can benefit from its audio component in my daily Bible Study.

Can we get a highlight all option instead of tapping each verse to be highlighted. Apart from that, great and easy to use.

Very Easy to use and you can find your highlighted verses grouped according to folders as you save them. This app has taken my Bible study to another level altogether. Thank you.
