It was alright. Some of the clues were a bit too obscure as to which puzzle they matched, but others made sense. Also, this app costs money to be purchased, and yet you still have to pay more for fast travel or to get 1 hint? It would make more sense to make fast travel free OR have, say, 3 free hints, but not having either option free (or at least free a few times) seems to be kind of nickel-and-diming. Also, don't make BOTH options free at the same time, just to be fair. All in all, though, this game was enjoyable.
I've done a lot of Quest games from different creators. They are my favorites. I love Syntaxity's stories. They have super graphics. This game was extremely challenging and sometimes I was totally stumped. I had to use parts of the walkthroughs to be able to continue. Also I really dislike the way the hints work. Hints don't show you what to do, they skip to the completed task and then move on. How about a real hint so I can then do the task myself! For those reasons I only gave gameplay a 3.
It was really truly going back and forth all the time. Puzzles were too easy. Only thing you have to remember what goes where. The first key was really hard to see I've literally spent hours to find it. Paid fast travel was ridiculous I didnt get it. Walkthrough was also overpriced. Luckily there was an online guide so I was ablet to find that black key hiding in the dark. I've enjoyed the environment and music. Graphics were okay.
A valuable asset in any player's library, great variety from the usual killing fests. Teaches to experiment and think in a abstract, unusual way, and that persistence pays off. My advice: don't expect much realism, it's like a dream; things are crazy or weird sometimes to get the task done. This is the best part of gaming! Try your luck with the puzzles, do something, don't let yourself be stuck - like in real life; there's always something to do! Now, I feel more ready for Myst and sequels!
Good graphics nice gameplay and challenging puzzles. The only problem I found with it is that if it is a paid game why do you have to pay extra to use fast travel and hints. If it was just the hints it would be ok but fast travel? It becomes boring just running through the whole map just to finish a puzzle. Otherwise a good puzzle game. Would recommend.
The game itself is fine. Some puzzles have relatively nonsensical or not immediately apparent answers, but for the most part there's no major problems. What really annoys me is the existence of ~$3 worth of features that should be free, but instead are behind paywalls in a $5 game. I still have it 4/5 stars for these two faults as I got the game for free, but if I spent money I feel that I would be disappointed.
I love adventure puzzle games, but haven't played this type on my phone before. This was actually quite hard to put down and very intuitive. It's easy enough to be relaxing, but finding puzzle clues and then solving them kept me engaged so not mind numbingly simple. I also noticed that it didn't drain my battery like some other games. I'm running android 7 and had no problems whatsoever. I got it free in sale, it's fairly short but nicely done.
Really enjoyed the game. There's a lot of places that need explored/unlocked along the way, and it's a lot to remember. The internet and it's vast resources were helpful, as was the map feature. Fast travel for $0.99 would have been nice, but rather unnecessary. Overall, enjoyable. Nothing groundbreaking, but decent graphics, good puzzles, perfect difficulty level, imo. I will check out their other point and click adventures!
It was great up to the point where you have to use the hatchet to cut the branch at scene 71. Was stuck for ages, had to buy the hint book which was annoying because the tree looked like a part of the scenery and it wasn't clear that you could cut it. Apart from that it's a really good game. Enjoyed the castle one more though.
Super fun, great puzzles, pretty graphics. Not long enough for $2.99. And that doesn't include $.99 for hints and $.99 for fast travel.👎That's too bad, $.99 for everything (use ads for hints! and watch 3 ads a day for fast travel, you'd still make decent revenue) would make it a five star game! Edit: Also, I unfortunately won't be downloading anymore of your games. The one's that require money will probably be too short to be worth it, and the free one's don't include the full game. Oh well. :(
A Great adventure game, takes you all over the island-a shame it was so short-completed in record time. Ridnt like paying for clues or to clear the ads but after a few missed directions i found them useful without being to expensive. Just wished the game continued to another level or a different country in search of the treasure there. Give it a go-its fun !
It was nice. But I was surprised to learn that it is a continue to the other game, I though they were all independent, I was lucky to choose this order. (It wouldn't be a problem, but it's nice to follow the plot) The only thing that bothered me is that I accidentally solved two puzzles, I didn't even intended it, and when I took the photos of clues for these already solved ones -- these photos were always in my camera, never disappeared)
Relaxing. Everything makes sense, not like the other obscure, tap tap tap until you find something similar apps. Just an enjoyable experience with quite a bit of going back and forth but hey, you can buy a fast travel map and the dev's gotta eat. Also, just when you think the game may come to an end it just keeps going and going so it's a decent length too.
Just brilliant, perfect in every way. I got it on sale, so it was free, but i had to pay 89p each to unlock fast travel and hints, and judged it excellent value for money. I don't know that I'd pay full price for it - it strikes me as a lot of money, but there are NO ads and the developers have to make money somehow! The hints just nudge you in the right direction rather than spelling it out. It's a wonderful game and I'll be looking out for more from this developer!
Having read the various comments from previous players of the game, I wasn't certain it would be enjoyable. However I found the game to incredibly enjoyable! For 2 or 3 of the puzzles I needed help, so the game is fairly challenging. Takes considerable time to complete so well worth the cost!
When I played it for the first time, I was new to the genre and I was confused and finding solutions of some puzzles randomly. After quite a time, with knowledge and experience (that I should not solve non-obvious puzzles without obtaining a clue first), the gameplay was a breeze, all things nice and logical. 👉 Samsung wide-screen users, hide camera hole for this app (in phone settings) to get slightly better view of high and low areas of each scene.
I got the game for free. Graphics were just ok. Some puzzles were too simple while others don't make sense to me haha. It's a little too slow paced with the back and forth walk (I don't want to pay for the "fast travel" feature). In the end, I got too lazy to even continue.
An old game shared for free. Definitely targeted for family. Artwork and music are both awesome. Game features and interface, user friendly. Puzzles are on the right difficulty for family game. Clues aren't relating good enough, but still acceptable for me. Definitely going to check out their other games.
The whole game is intentionally hard to force you to pay for the hints (which are available all over the internet by the way). Also a disgusting practice to ask for money for fast travel between scenes instead of tons of walking. Not to mention that the whole game is illogical, there is literally no logical connection on where you will beed to go or how to find the next step, so you just wander around aimlessly and try to spot something you've missed. Could have had potential but it missed.
Thank goodness for the Hints! Although it's not so much as hints as it it a guide book! There are so many scenes that it's easy to get lost, so the guide book is great! Nice graphics. Fun puzzles. Not at all creepy, yay!
Super long but keeps your attention. I play a lot of puzzle and escape games and enjoyed this one! I think it tests your memory more than other skills but you will need to use some deductive reasoning. I did get super stuck (twice) and had to use a walkthrough to find what I missed.
Awesome Puzzle Game! This is possibly both the most enjoyable and at times, frustrating game that I've ever played on my 'phone. I was reminded of an old pc game called 'Myst' when I saw it and as I enjoyed that, I figured that this might be as much fun.....boy, was I right! p.s. Anyone who complains about having to remember things like which clue you could use to solve which puzzle, really shouldn't be playing puzzle games.....that's the whole point!
Anyone who gives this a bad rating is clearly just NOT into this style of game. There's nothing wrong with it. It plays exactly the way it should, point&click adventure, escape, puzzle, scratch your head till you either figure it out or give up 3 hours later to look up a walkthrough lol. Some might say, graphics are weak, or it don't make sense, or even it won't run. well it works for me, if it don't for you, fix your system. graphics & sense? Dude at most you're paying no more than 3 bux, stfu.
This game is a LONG drawn out mess. You constantly have to go forward and backwards through levels to solve scenes. It just doesn't make any sense at the ending when you find the treasure, you take a picture and that's the end. This game literally gave me a headache. Don't waste your time or the .99 cents to pay for ridiculous YouTube video hint clips.
really nice and fun, I absolutely loved the puzzles and the graphics! only thing that I found annoying is that there are in game purchases for hints and fast travel - I would have liked to pay the full amount in advance instead of paying for two more features.
Wouldn't buy anymore of their games. It was pretty short. All of the puzzles were easy, just trying to remember where everything goes is annoying, however they give you half a hint, which was enough to point me in the right direction which also made the game pretty easy. The camera was a nice touch saving you from taking your own screenshots. Also glad they made fast travel free.
