The Message Bible Offline

Excellent! Easy to use! Loads quickly. Would like to have improved: it does not navigate to the verse that you choose. It always goes to the beginning of the chapter, verse 1. Then I have to scroll to find my verse. Not really a problem, but all other Bible apps I have go directly to the verse. That improvement would make my rating 5 * STARS*. Otherwise, great app.

It's as intuitive as my Amplified Bible app. The problems I'm facing is with the audio function. It never plays. Not sure what the problem is. The app just doesn't want to read. I also noticed that if I select a verse that's not verse 1 (verse 18 for example), the cursor always starts at verse 1. Would be more 🌟's if these problems were fixed. 2020-10-02: Dropping this from 3 to 1 star. The app has now gone completely blank. No fixes to my previous problems. Going shopping for new app.

Very nice app. Very easy to read because each sentence is broken into paragraphs while keeping the subject by verses together. Improvement in the search and navigation is required by going to the specific search result instead of the beginning of the chapter. Overall, very good app

This is the best app for the message bible. Many people do not realize that this Bible is paraphrased. It's not literally a word for word translation. So people will see not the separation of verses like they see in most other bibles. But for more difficult books of the Bible for me the Message bible makes it easier for me to read and understand.

This version of the Bible is my absolute favorite. Contemporary English leaves less room to misunderstand the Scriptures. This app is a way to keep the noisy, material, but false world quieter than God's Word. I read while waiting everywhere, even in checkout lines. More fulfilling than games, plus saves cell phone battery. Get this app, and have no regrets!

The Bible is easy to understand ...but in the instance of "The Lords Prayer" it is totally mangled, but remember that is not the app's fault unless they changed the "Message Bible" to site their desires. There r sueveral other instances throughout this Bible . But if u want an easy read this is perfect!

I'm totally impressed with the layout of the "message bible". The easy to follow and understanding of each chapter, the reading plan and daily verses. Notes can be jotted down and recorded. Favourite verses, psalms are noted and referred to whenever and mostly the behind the scene interesting information that is displayed at the bottom of the screen

This is the most incredible thorough Bible that I've seen. This makes everything so easy to save to search to to do everything you need to do to have a full study! It's incredible I love it! Not to mention I've been one who always read the King James version but I realize that this message Bible is incredibly clear and very easy to understand.

The message Bible is a great material for me. While studying the Word of God sometimes I can't grasp the understanding or meaning of a scripture. The Message Bible makes it plain, It gives clariry. I recommend this bible to all that are studying the Word of God. This does not mean that you put The KJV to the side, this bible assist me more than you would ever know. Many bibles has taken away & some has added, but you can't take or add to God's Word. The Message Bible is printed to help us. 😇

English used is very simple & clear to understand, making it good for all walks of life. I love it, though would request you give more deeper insight on word you share e.g verse or book of the day. It can be more helpful especially to those who are new christians .Word nourishes and transform. Thanks for this great version, appreciated.

Thank you for a wonderful Bible app! Love that I can have a reading plan, and can highlight scriptures as I go along to go back for further in depth reading and sharing. You did an exceptional work with this app. I do recommend it to friends and family and all who would like to read this Bible along your usual Bible. Nice to have a Bible on the go! It's self motivating. Pushes me to study beyond my set limit of chapters per day by reason of the graphics in the statistics section. However, the vocabularies seems a bit different from the other Bible versions. This makes it a little difficult to grasp at a single reading of a chapter or verse.

It's been great using the app. Very good features like audio reading both for on and offline. The day and night mode feature also makes it easy on the eye when looking at the screen to read.

The content is clear and easy to comprehend by a novice Bible reader. The of the Lord is direct and the message version helps to understand the word of God for personal growth. The simplicity in the words manifests the person of the Holy Spirit. Simple and easy to understand if we don't try to argue with Him or fit Him into our lives. The app does not give the verse of the scripture one is looking for.

For the time being, as am still evaluating it, all i can say is, as a study bible it describes an issue in special understandable ways. Further it uses simple language that one can easily understand. Please continue with relevant updates towards its perfection.

My experience with this Bible App is nothing less than great. Its user friendly and it includes present day conversational style thereby promoting relativity. The Message Bible translation has warmed its way into my heart as my favorite Bible translation so far. Using this Bible App I've gained deeper understanding of the Bible and learned new words and verbal expressions too. I encourage you to give this App a try. #ThumbsUp

Very good. Easy to move between chapters. Ads once very intrusive - half a screen, but not happened again. Would be nice to move back to passages previously reading.

I rated 4 stars because I kind of love this app but only one thing spoilt it for me. The verses are not separated 😭😭😭 I can't understand why but it's a very bad thing for me. Can this be resolved? I don't understand why verses will be joined together. Please let this be corrected and remember to send messages for update when this is done so I can update to the new improvement because I really need this. God bless you for this wonderful work

I didn't think much about some modern translations, however this version is very good. The way this application is formatted is outstanding! Extremely easy to understand and even easier to use.

Takes a little bit to get use to the way of underlining small portions of a verse but once you get the hang of it, it's good! I love that I can underline in different colors! Thank you! I'm happy with the app!

Amazing app. I love it. And the experience would have been better if there is a quick and easy way to go to the next chapters without me having to click up and start selecting. Nevertheless, it's a great app

Wonderful version as for as my soul felt. This version is so much helpful. Translated purposefully to understand the depth. I always try to read The Message version along with The Amplified Bible version. One of the best version. Great effort.

This is simply awesome and very easy to navigate. I give it to the message bible but my worries are the ads that cove content most time. Some passages are missing or omitted please can they be included again.

I am enjoying this version of the Bible, it is easy to understand and you can save the passage(s) you wish to reflect more on. I am able to highlight the passage I need to read in church.

I like the shortness and precision of the bible.you can read it much quicker.and it's very interesting to read a version that's slightly more colloquial and relatable...I have parts of the bible numerous times...this version definitely makes reading a pleasure.thank you to the creators of this version.

Finally i got my own version of the Message Bible.... although i was aiming for the hard copy...well... this is still a good alternative. This app is great at giving you a simpler understanding of the Bible...also comes with daily scriptures too. Very effective. ❤️

It has an easy to use interface and a very easy to understand tenses. I wish some verses were not combined. I hope this helps

I love the layout of the Bible & how and you can add Scriptures into different folders and colour code them, it's super cool and helpful. Plus, it's written in a very relatable language 😊😊

Love the app & the choice of words used. But can we have an updated version that separate the verses properly for easy selection of verses and easy reading. Thank you
