I love this app. It really helps me break down and fully structure my own songs and writing at lower speeds and helps me analyze my playing through a microscope. However recently the click doesn't actually make a sound. I get visual cues but no audio, I'm not sure if it's a bug but I purchased my version and I've since deleted and reinstalled to no avail. As it's the core use for me, I'll raise my rating back up once it's fixed. But as of now it's not worked for about a month and a half.

I would love to give you guys 5 stars - the app is great. Easy to use and elegantly simple. I LOVE my Core Steel! HOWEVER...I am compelled to give you four out of five stars because I keep losing my song library. The last time this happened I contacted support and the gentleman told me it was a server error related to a recent update. He instructed me to clear my app data and cache which fixed the issue but I had to rebuild my song database. Today it just happened again - quite frustrating!

Recently got me a Core Steel, and paired with this app is just a beauty! Practicing becomes more fun, dynamic and effective. I´m still getting used to "feeling" instead of "hearing" the tick, but it´s definitively a step up from the classic metronome. My bandmates weren´t convinced about getting one, so I took the chance (and won!). Now they are all getting one for themselves. Just a request for future firmwares, it would be awesome to be able to display the names of the songs in our app setlists on the watch itself and switch back and forth the songs with the wheel. Let´s make this happen to have an even more awesome experience!

Fantastic app, I use it for click in gigs all the time, but it has one major flaw: the click doesn't start when you tap it, it has a delay. So if I'm in a gig and trying to set the click to the live band it's an absolute nightmare and distracting to the whole band, cause i need several tries before getting it right. Also, it's incredibly difficult to change the song order in setlists. It would be fantastic to be able to drag them around easily.

Not a bad app, especially pair with the watch. However 3 major flaws for when playing live: 1. A few millisecond delay between tapping start and the app actually starting. This is compounded by the additional delay between the app and the watch. 2. I've built up a library of songs with set bpm and time signature. However every time the app updates, all the song are reset to 120bpm and 4/4. What's the deal? 3. Occasional lag between app and watch during count, causing inconsistency in the beat.

Fantastic app, love the ability to save songs in folders Edit: dropped the review down from 5 stars to 3 because of a tiny bug. Whenever you switch audio sources outside the app (like from phone speaker to headphones or a Bluetooth speaker in the settings) it will undo any changes you've made to the beat samples (and revert to the default high tone on the 1 and low tone on subsequent beats) until you reopen the app.

Free version heads up. Download songs to the program with YouTube links. You have up to 3 instruments to lower the volume including vocals. Is not only a cellphone app, you have access with a computer too. The metronome works for only one minute, unless you pay. The program follows multiple time signature in a single song by itself; that helps you to be on-time when playing along for a video. Overall is worth the try.

Twice now the app has reset my entire library. Once last summer and now it just happened again. Songs are still there but all tempos are reset to 120bpm. It takes forever to find and set all the tempos again. This, at least for my purposes, renders the app (and the expensive wearable) useless. Contacted support both times and only got a "sorry, this is a critical bug with no workaround". Quite a bug. You would think it would be something quite high on the to-do list! (It's been almost a year).

It's so easy to use and found the metronome dial so handy when playing songs and literally getting the beat "dialed" in. This app is a time saver to have to not run to other equipment to lay down a solid beat. And it plays still while using my phone to record videos of the guitar playing and or piano playing to keep record of improv like sessions . its so handy and very self explanatory for someone like me who never new about a metronome until just recently.

The app is good except for one fatal flaw -- when I rotate my tablet upside down, the interface stays upside down (all other apps flip the interface to compensate). Because of where the ports are on my device, I have to keep it upside down when playing music. This is a very basic omission that renders the app useless.

DO NOT USE THIS APP LIVE. Our worship team is using this for our live sets. Each performance so far it has glitched out and as a result threw off the entire team, live, on stage. The app is barely usable, not reliable for live performances due to a lot of bugs. It constantly needs to be restarted. Good app, we would love to continue using it, but we are forced to find an alternative.

I love this app! I've tried a few other metronome apps but after using this one I stopped looking around. I love the tap feature and it tells you your tempo, and the flash the tempo option. I wish the mute and flash toggles were right on the main screen rather than in a menu, that's what would make it a 5 star rating. The ads don't get in the way much. Yeah, that's part of the lower rating, too. Good app, though, highly recommend.

All I wanted was a metronome. I set the pace, and pressed play, and literally nothing happened. I tried changing settings and looked around the app to see what I was doing wrong. All of a sudden, my phone is off, and restarting. Tried going in the app again, and the same exact thing happened again! So frustrating! Just uninstalled this nonsense of an app.

Superb! An outstanding app for any budding or experienced musician. You can set any speed or time signature, and emphasize any, all, or none of the clicks. If you are a musician, or hoping to be one, get this app. One note; some buttons appear to be grayed out, and therfore unavailable. Not so. It just means you haven't sel it.

It gets the job done perfectly. I do wish you could have saved tempos though to make practicing easier, as opposed to typing out the tempo each time you want to change it, having the option to select one of your previously saved tempos under a folder (maybe a folder for each song you're trying to learn) with customizable titles for the tempos and folders, would be amazing. Other than that, it's perfect. No disruptive ads, you don't have to pay for the essentials, overall very happy with the app.

The clicks are off on beats. I tap one to make it a higher pitch but then it does it for the one to the right of it. Like, the order is all messed up. Also, I would love it if there was an option to gradually go higher up in tempo without having to stop and set the tempo first. Would be good for drum chops and going different speeds. This needs to be fixed.

Good app. Favourite so far BUT there's 2 things for me that ruin it. The click goes out of time with the flashing meters and sometimes the subdivisions all of a sudden change to something else even though it still says you're on the one you selected. That said it's still my favourite so far, I'm going to stick with it for the time being and I hope you can fix these problems. Defo worth 5 stars when they're fixed. Thanks!

I'm a drummer looking for a programmable metronome app to replace my Yamaha Clickstation. I tried a LOT of different ones and this was by far the best of the bunch. Used it for the first time last night, really liked it and will be using it again. To make it perfect though (at least for me) there are a few of things that I'd really love to see. You can't choose to hear one subdivision but see another. Choosing to hear quavers results in double flashes which are impossible to follow. I had to reprogramme the library songs just play crotchets as I couldn't follow the visual cue at all. This is the closest thing to a deal-breaker with this app to be honest. There is a slight delay (even with power saving off!) between hitting play and the click starting. (Galaxy S5) - this makes it difficult to resync mid-song. Can we have a MUTE button on the interface to kill/restore the sound without stopping the click? PLEASE either allow syncing to a cloud account OR have an import/export option OR let us know where the songs/setlists are stored so we can backup the library/copy to another phone. Love this app though - thank you! (PS I'd buy a paid version to support development!)

Great app. All the things a metronome should be, and more. It would be great if there existed an option for the app to be blank when the metronome is on, as opposed to each beat lighting up. For a while the app opens on the home screen displaying how long I've had it for (836 days for me) and other ads. This is a little bit frustrating because I click on metronome app to use metronome app! That is all

This Metronome is full of features which makes it distinctive from others. I would have loved to give it 5 stars, but I noticed a bug that has become frequent. Whenever I do a speed like 132 bpm in triplets, the triplets arent ever constant. It always seems to change the speed or omit one of the pulses. It does ruin the use of a digital metronome. Please fix this bug. Cheers!

Jes. G. Aug 28, 2019

Metronome seems to "glitch" in the middle of playing. What seems to sound like static often interferes with the metronome creating a momentary lapse that goes off beat. At first, I thought it may have been my headphones but after trying with a third pair, it's safe to say the proble. Is in the software. However, the good news is that this metronome is incredibly easy to use and the interface is user friendly. If they can fix the problem, 5/5 no problem.

The BEST metronome app I've ever used. This app let's you set the metronome from anything from 1/1 to 16/8 and allows you to change which best clicks in a higher or lower pitch, or doesn't click at all. Not only that, but you can also change the rhythm in each beat from straight, to swing, to triplets, it gives you plenty of options. All these features are FREEEEEEEEEE

Very useful (as all metronomes are), but this one is very clean and professional. I enjoy using it and will keep it as my go to, plenty of functions to go around as well... 9.5/10 would recommend, can't get much better. My only two recommendations are 1) buttons for adding +1 or -1 BPM as getting a specific amount can be mildly inconvenient and 2) there is a bug that changes the sound (the pitch, not type) of the metronome sometimes when I swap apps would be nice to get rid of that.
