So helpful, easy-to-use, and most importantly: relaxing . There are types of meditations for every need, both short or long and informative courses, too. I was(still am) a beginner at Meditation and Mindfulness, this app has helped me incorporate both into my life seamlessly . I highly recommend it .
Software is not a service. I will not pay subscription fees for software that may stop being supported any time. Uninstalled without even running. Change your model to a one time purchase and I'll try it again. DEVS ARE LIARS. This is a subscription-based app. They charge a monthly fee. SOFTWARE IS NOT A SERVICE!
Ok. But it has an issue that once the meditation ends the phone screen will stay on. Not great for after a sleep meditation. So I've changed the setting, now when my screen turns off the meditation pauses. I'll just use Spotify instead at night until this bug gets fixed.
Was able to finally relax with their guidance in extremely stressful times. Found peace in guided breathing techniques. This is the best app for anyone wanting to find balance, help with feeling more grounded and in times of anxiety to feel calmer and more confident.
I used the app once and it seemed good. Like 10 minutes later when I tried to open it again I couldn't access anything. There was not even a prompt for a premium version. The timed sessions did show, but wouldn't do anything when I tapped start. I just want it to work for more than 1 time. I would have given it 5 stars if it wasn't for this
Mindfulness is important This app is much appreciated and I highly recommend it to others. It is Soo important to be working on ones mental health so they can be beautiful from the inside out and feel happy and hopeful! Thanks for this app! Have a great day!!
lots of guided options, makes it easy to fit a short session in your day if that's all you can. I like the positive affirmation / quote notifications every day, and the reminder to be mindful and take a moment for yourself
The meditations seem to be of best quality over similar apps. I am considering an annual subscription. Thank you to all involved in this app, it helps me with my daily life.
The premium version is ok but the free version is difficult to use. You see all options but can't use all, very difficult to find a mindfulness trainin g when not all that are shown are available for you
I really liked everything about this app just right now can't afford it. But thank you for the preview really enjoyed that too. Wish it was free cause it really helped me. Thank you
This app has made a huge difference in my life and I suggest it for anybody who is looking for something different and a decent amount of what I consider primary resource of information on how to remain healthy and this crazy world.
Life changing. Manage stress build confidence and reduced anxiety. I signed up for another year with new goals!
I really enjoyed the time I spent with the meditation and found it very relaxing and informative. Thank you. Irene Walsh.
I feel this app is great for meditations. I'm so pleased I signed up.
There is such a little you can access with the free version and the premium version is a bit pricey
Mostly good, but there is a really distracting and annoying feature that I am unable to turn off. During every silent meditation, bells ring at various points of the meditation. I've tried to turn them off in the settings, but they continue regardless. Unfortunately, i'll have to try another app, as the bells are too distracting.
A great help to help you practice your Mindfulness regularly and relax, control and release stress and gain perspective again. I would love it if you could also have a choice in which voice you would like to hear though. You can select which background noise you want, which is wonderful. I also wish I was told in advance that you have to purchase some things to make more use of the App. However because the main female voice regrettably irritates me, I won't be purchasing more of this. Hence 4 *
Really good app, however when listening to the sessions, I wish there was a bell or just a pause before going to the next session, instead of the sessions just playing on a loop. It's better than constantly looking at the circle with dots to know when my 4 minutes are up, especially if you have your eyes closed while meditating. Can you please fix this!!! Otherwise the content, lay out is good. Another great addition to my mindfulness apps. But please consider adding bell at end of each session
I think the app has a lot of potential and clearly has lots of content. I have the full version and there are a lot of everyday things this can help with. The voices in all of these are extremely annoying, American accents with Americanised words. The voice should be a helpful guide like that in the Headspace app. This is stopping me from completing ANY of your meditations.
I'd never felt the need to engage in any mindfulness sessions until recently. A few close friends have, and seem to find it useful. This app has been a great introduction to mindfulness. I've only used the free sessions, but they are nice. The app is easy to use, and isn't particularly pushy with regards moving you on to the paid for aspect.
I find it hard to concentrate and relax when the voice is using complex words in rapid succession. It feels like the voice is a student paper using the synonyms option. It's trying too hard to sound smart. Keep the language simple in the "Get Started" section or you will lose people before they ever get to other sections.
This is my updated review after some months of using (with subscription). First there's some fantastic content - some of the heavyweights of the spiritual and mindfulness movements - Pema Chodron, Tara Brach, Jon Kabat-Zinn to name a few. Content wise it's first class - great courses and many meditations on all manner of subjects. However, the app has a few bugs. First when you save a course as a Favourite, then go back to the course navigation through the Favourites menu item none of the sessions will show up. Ergo it's impossible to navigate through your favourite courses because it's a waste of time. You have to find the teacher, scroll through their list of meditations etc find the course and enter that way. Second - for each teacher their list of meditations and courses are mixed into one big list. I'd suggest their courses be in a separate list to make it easier to find them. Thirdly - if you exit the app while in a course, sometimes when you come back you are locked out. You have to shut the app or navigate to it's home, then back to the course and it will appear unlocked (I have a subscription). These are minor things but they do make using the app annoying. That said buy the subscription for the content - it's really quite astounding how good the content is. Five stars but if I could give 4.5 I would because these bugs have been there for ages and don't appear to be getting fixed.
I've been using this app for years and have found it is the one I return to again and again. I like the simplicity, the fact I can personalise, the rhythm, sound and content of the guided elements. I use this app when I teach meditation in leadership training and ask the leaders and managers to create an ongoing practice. It's also available in a few other languages which is a bonus.
The app works OK, even though I have experienced problems with the audio sometime - the meditation starts but there is no sound. Another thing, which might be just my personal taste - I find the voice and the diction of the instructor (Catherine Orzech) quite annoying and distracting at times. On the plus side - this might be considered an exercise in staying focused despite of distractions. All in all - a good app worth a look
Despite one of my last complaints has been heard (and fixed), there's still one problem left for me: in the Timed Session personalized mode, I set the bells to ring one time at the beginning and one last time at the end, but it keeps ringing two times by itself along my daily 40-minute meditation routine. This needs to be fixed, then it'll be the perfect app for me. Thanks for reading and giving me the needed feedback on my last bad experience and I hope you folks could make this twice!
The content that is free is very high quality from several different guides in their own style. There are a handful of meditations and sessions for free and timed/guided meditation. Quite a number of options for trials as you use it for the paid subscription which is where the app really shines. I've got hours of sessions available on various subjects and categories, so of them so far are very high quality. I had no problem picking this up as a total beginner to meditation and mindfulness.
The voice of the audio is so clear there I give a star and I like like the English is so good too (understandable )
A good app. Pricey. A little buggy: like when you first pick up your phone in a while and you receive 8 notifications about how to be mindful all at the same time! Not exactly chill. It's commercial AF!! But, all things considered the content is amazing and worth having if you're into making a little time for mindfulness and meditations. I'm not sure I can chew on their corporate delivery much longer though. Be good at being good, instead of trying to be good at hooking people in?!
