The Mirror App: Daily News

I'm new to this app and I've found the quantity of content to be great although the quality of the writing is hit and miss. I was having problems with comments not loading properly so I re-registered using my other email address and it's been fine. Can someone tell me though, is it possible to access the pictures on the articles so I can zoom in on them. On other news apps, I just clicked on a photo and could zoom to see it properly but this doesn't seem to be the case on here.

The last few days, whenever I open a story, I read a few sentences then the app shuts off back to the home page, or off altogether. Getting very annoying!

It keeps crashing and kicking you out seems to be when another story has been added and then you have to try and find story you were reading to fpget to the end of it. If keeps happening wilk uninstall and buy a different paper

Since updating the app it no longer shows horoscopes the text is also very small for someone with a sight impairment app continously freezes having to be shut down by restarting my phone. Please release a better updated version.

Enjoyable mostly. Regurgitated stories and poor editing let the app down. I buy the physical addition everyday without fail I must add, aswell as the daily express to cover both ends of the spectrum and the mirror seems to be too flannel like and half or more is advertising which another down point. There are very good journalists who write for the mirror no doubt

Unfortunately although I prefer the politics of the mirror it can't compete with the Mail for content and ease of going from different articles.Still the Mail does give you insight into the Tory mind which at times is scary.

It keeps telling me to log on to comment, but the log on button doesn't work. The content sometimes takes a long time to refresh.

Dire. Jerky. Advert-snowed. Did someone actually "design" this? Maybe after being bang on it all night, chewing your face, just as the sun rises (never open the curtains, eh).

I have read the mirror all my life in the pandemic I could not buy it I found this app 74 still learning at first I did not know what app was. Very happy to read each day. I see adverts but as you get older you can see who there aimed at not me most of the time.

Trying to get comments to load is ridiculous. It constantly freezes and forced closed. If and when I'm lucky enough for the comments to load I have to log in every time because it's logged me out. For such a basic app it has a lot of problems.

So glitchy. The swipe left and right is awful as scrolling up to read keeps swiping the pages.

I don't like the new layout at all, I read the mirror news on a daily basis and now I'm having to uninstall because everything is so crammed together it makes it difficult to focus on an individual post. They is just no structure to the app what so ever the old style everything was in there own boxes making it easier to focus on the article now they are on top of one another and articles that don't have a picture are just listed on top of one another. Not a great look or style.

to much celeb news and no rugby.still the same old agony aunt stuff and little fact based stories. The app keeps freezing.

For me the Mirror always delivers, excellent up to date quality news every day with frequent updates. Love it!!

Not good, Keeps Coming up Mirror Not Responding, Everytime I'm on the app.

Jerky, can't find games section for my crosswords, will give it a run and see what happens

Really not a fan of the new look, it looks cheap and tacky compared to the old style. Everything feels crammed in together and is harder to read compared to the old style of putting each headline and picture in its own tile/box. Even the colour scheme feels like a backwards step with the dark blue/purple less appealing than the grey/black of old. If I can't get used to this new style then I'm afraid I will have to uninstall this app because it looks more GCSE project than professional.

I don't know what is happening with this app, but the past few weeks have been shocking! Most of the time, feeds won't load on wifi, only on mobile data. I've deleted cookies, history, forced stops, un/reinstalled all too no avail. Happens sporadically at no particular time, but its everyday. As I can only get online via my phone, the app version doesn't allow for paragraphs to be inserted. So annoying grrrr. Come on DM surely with 2020 technology it's time to grow up & sort it now. Thanks

Everything was good but i don't want sport news, royals news or politics etc. but unless i sign in or register (which is not going to happen) i cannot change anything. So i'm uninstalling and will stick with my other news service.

So slow! Can take up to five minutes to refresh the home page. My WiFi downloads, at at least, 1.5gb. No other news service is this bad.

This app is about as stable as a ball bearing balancing on another ball bearing.The comments section works when it feels like it,repeated unresponsive app/app stopped working messages appear and going back a page sometimes takes you back to the homepage from several days earlier!.That's without mentioning the general poor quality of the stories, with stories sometimes repeated from years ago, many far from newsworthy. Often woeful research data used in articles and pretty poor grammar all round.

Up to date, latest headlines. Easy to use and loads of different topics to read. 10/10

Some English grammar lessons are required. Back to basics for the 'University' educated 'journalists'.

Although I live in San Francisco, I subscribed to Mirror to read news happening in the UK. Articles are always well written and interesting, and sadly I see the world your way is just as dramatically changed as it is here. I always have regretted not being apart of the 1980s music scene in the UK. Thank you for the articles, Mirror, and always keep us in thr US apprised. 💕

Just updated to latest version. Many articles have a white bar where the content should be.
