Update finally got here and everything seems to be working! Though the "Play your first match in the arena" achievement seems to be bugged and even though I've played many arena matches, the achievement still shows as incomplete.
I'll be honest, I like this game, but the update completely screwed me over, it took my newer account and replaced it with my old account... my newer account had better stuff and more progress. Honestly I'm just upset with this.
Well im enjoying the flashback to playing battle tops as a kid. Pretty one dimensional and wonder how game will keep me hooked but as i said im having fun stm
Best game of its kind.. .constantly improving and updating, unmatched community. Good job guys keep it up
Ridiculous fun, ads only if you want them. This is what a mobile game should be like!
This game overall has a wonderful design. The gameplay is easy to learn but hard to master, the art and character designs is diverse, and most importantly, it is fair. It's hard to enjoy the game at first when ads are shoved in every once in a while but it can be removed for just 1.99. My only complaint is that this game will stop music that are playing when started;I have to slide down the taskbar to resume my music everytime i run this game.I look forward to see what else the dev has to offer.
Great game where you can spend as little or as much time as you want daily, you can play story mode as much as you want, replay past levels to get missing gears, as well as other events. Game is very F2P friendly, and you can choose to spend some cash if you want to. Lots of characters, the game rewards strategy as matching wrestlers' abilities makes a huge difference in your success. My only minor ask would be an option to skip previous levels you've mastered, without tokens.
Unique gameplay, no pay wall or "energy cool down". When it comes to mobile games I look for stuff the hits a theme that I will enjoy, in this instance it's wrestling, and the ability to not run into a pay wall or some unforgiving energy cool down time constraints. This game has neither, obviously you can utilize microtransactions to get stuff faster but there is no energy or cooldowns when it comes to doing matches or trying to progress. It's a definite must try, and one that you'll keep.
Something different for once! The game starts as usual, classic gacha game. The setting though, is kind of unique. Progression can be steady but developers rewards you with small gifts every now and then. One of the best part for me is the art style. Love the wrestler design. My suggestions? Keep adding wrestler ( the more, the better ) organize once a month an online tournament (Vs other teams, doesn't need to be real time) and special event with limited time wrestler. Keep up the good work!
Cool visual style and fun gameplay loop, however the difficulty curve is too steep, requiring much better wrestlers than most players will have to beat some of matches in the later chapters, even with the boosts applied. This is likely to make you want pay real money for more chances which is a shame as it ruins a relatively fun game.
Great game except for the multiplayer feature. It is absolutely broken. Right out of the gate, you're pitted against players with far superior characters and for every win, you take multiple losses. I now remember why I deleted what is otherwise a very outstanding game. I won't be reinstalling again.
Fantastic game, especially if you love wrestling. The concept is fantastic, I love all the wrestlers, the types, the skills, all the UI elements in combat, the combat stage. it's all fantastic. It seems a little difficult to get gold consistently/regularly, but maybe because I'm a newish player? Also wish it was easier getting the Quick Clear Tokens. The Menus are a bit too simple for me, aesthetically. They've got that "Champions Online"/Comic Sans/Trying-to-hard-too-be-a-comic feel.
Annoying. I didn't like being led by the hand in the tutorial. When the little hand is on screen you can't do anything else.I know I could have skiped it, but I wanted the full experience. I didn't like the match vs the big wrestler (i don't remember the name) because you HAVE to lose. The shop had a "claim" above it, but couldn't find what I could claim. Received some tickets, but I couln't find out what they're for. I feel I'll miss out on a lot of the game for not using facebook.
Its a great game and for me at least has high replay value bc I never get tired of it, I already have at least a superstar of each category and Im loving it! If its not much to ask could you developers make a x2 or x3 option for AI matches? Sometimes we are fighting 6-7 IA bots and its a pain to wait it out when you are replaying the same level over and over for the belt benefits. Thanks!
Actual fun game with decent mechanics and events, free to play friendly and include a funny storyline too
Easy controls great game once you learn the wrestlers moves
it's pretty awful. by the fourth city, you're fighting numerous rounds and getting trounced easily. you don't progress at a rate commensurate with the game's progress which necessitates massive grinding and leveling up and it just isn't that conpelling by that point. you get the basic gist by the end of the first city and leveling up doesn't change things much from that point on.
Definitely the best game I played on cell. The mechanics are fantastic and balance is superb. You seriously get to appreciate your wrestlers and some leave you in awe. Teambuilding and trying different combos is great fun. You're not constantly busy doing daily chores, but play for fun and advancing a team member feels like a real achievement. You can advance without spending money, and also keep up in the awesomely balanced, hold-your-breath multiplayer matches. I'm impressed, this is the kind of game that makes me wish I'd developed it. AND it has Lemmy in it!!! Thumbs up, 10 Stars.
An interesting hybrid of billiards and Fire Pro Wrestling, this game has a lot of depth and can be very addictive. Being a fan of wrestling games, I thought that I wouldn't enjoy The Muscle Hustle, but it somehow captures the spirit of wrestling in spite of its shuffleboard mechanics. The matches are intense and fun, and figuring out the formula for a team that can defeat the bosses keeps you engaged and focused on training and upgrading your wrestlers. This is the best a wrestling game can be without being a wrestling game at all.
Quit working after last update. Freezes on load screen.
This game's a great grinder. Kudos to the devs on this one. Great controls, lots of wrestlers to collect and level up, not a terrible amount of pressure to spend money. I'm coming off the tail end of a garbage app that just become about the microtransactions so, Muscle Hustle is a welcome surprise and a refreshing game to play! Definitely recommend.
Of all the games I played with this kind of style, this one is my favorite, I don't know, I just love how this game works.
Quirky characters, crazy story, and a colorful commentator. Yup, just like wrestling on tv, this game is a good time and fun way to pass the time. I appreciate the option to be a heel or face and it gives a legitimate reason to keep atleast one dupilcate for each character, even if it is only to just to have both and fill out your collection. Easy to learn gameplay, interesting and fairly diverse characters, good story, and overall fun experience.
My only 3 put downs for this are . 1) it is super super super grindy if you want to up the wrestlers. 2) anything above 3star rating is pretty much PTW. And squashes opponents by being op. Though if you grind you can beat them 3) you cannot run a company or create your own despite the short storyline .. though it's not clear what that story is. Other than those it's a awesome game that rewards constant play and can easily kill time
Finally making gear above 2* (or was it 3* max before?) farmable from campaign was a great change, but not enough to counter the amount of grinding needed to fully upgrade a single character. Also, while auto mode while in a fight is nice it'd be a lot better to just skip fights for free rather than the current setup, or even having skips easily farmable. In other words, gacha trash.
Game is far too difficult and not newbie friendly. You can easily fail early missions until you get better wrestlers. Also a lot of grinding to boost the wrestles to the point where they deal ridiculous amount of damage. Many pointless wrestler specific events for equally pointless prizes. Good luck trying to get to the top with all the established accounts also playing these events. The only major positive is that drafting higher tier wrestlers are easier and not locked behind a paywall.
