My favorite game just got better! Thank you so much for adding the optional hint and skip feature. Now I can immerse myself in the hauntingly beautiful atmosphere with no aggravation. I still love how realistic the scenes are-I usually don't experience that level of quality in a game unless I am playing a 3d one on my P.C. The beautiful, melancholy music is like icing on the cake and makes the whole immerse experience more complete and realistic. THANK YOU!!!
Just finished the game and really enjoyed it, the story is very good and the map is brilliant, the puzzles a little easy to solve which is a good twist because you think this is too easy and you miss the obvious, the clues are easily worked out. Music is good, looking forward to playing the sequel.
Old-fashioned, but maybe because it's an old game. The reason for the low rating are misleading (wrong) descriptions, a storyline that confuses despite being quite predictable and worst of all... at the end is a veeeeeery long video sequence but then not enough time to read the text that finally explains the whole thing. Thankfully, the game is quite inexpensive, so no real damage done...
WOW!! l picked the ending.. l guessed it and thought... what an awesome feeling that was ... the effect it had at the time 😉 One of the best games l've ever played as a point & click. Absolutely fantastic!! Definite play... 🤗
That was fun. I liked the puzzles and the story. It was not mega huge or complicated but just a fun little game to play. Hopefully the 2nd part is as good.
Well I like the game and story but not a big fan of the new update it just feels a little too new and I like the old version but over all I still like it!

This game has zero hints, so I continually tried to figure out what I was doing wrong, only to realize that the game was not functioning correctly. The Bells would not ring. After finally figuring this out, I uninstalled and then reinstalled the game. Same issue. Very disappointing to have this break, especially once I saw this is a known issue from other comments in the review section.
Really enjoyable and just the right level of difficulty. Unique story and interesting puzzles.
Great game but far to short
As a gamer, I'm rarely impressed by app games and hate how developers make you pay to play or have to play at their pace. This game had none of those problems, was very original, interesting, had great graphics, and completely changed my view of app games. The story kept me motivated to keep solving each puzzle (which were challenging, but not frustrating) and the twist ending was awesome! Please keep up the great work, I just purchased Haunted Hallow 2 to dive deeper into the mystery!
Played this through to the stained glass window I couldn't solve, but the game is good and I enjoyed it.
Not sure why it has under 4 stars. I have played games that had much higher reviews that were garbage when comparing. Only critique is I wish there were some sort of hint button. But I managed without it and never looked up a walkthrough so it's doable.
Hate the still picture HOG games. Graphics turned me completely off. Game looks dull. I was livid to find out that I had previously paid for this game and had immediately uninstalled it then made the mistake of purchasing it again!! ! So disappointed!
The bells will not ring they are stuck, please fix it.

I was enjoying the game until I reached the clock puzzle. First I could only get the second hand to move, then after navigating away and then coming back I could only move the minute hand no matter where I touched the screen. On the last attempt there was only the sound effect and nothing moved. No further progress is possible. Very disappointing in a paid for game, fix it or refund necessary, please.
This game has been very good up to a point. The lack of a hints button hasn't been an issue because the game follows a good, logical progression. BUT . . . I have now struck a glitch towards the end of the game that has spoiled the experience. I cannot get past the bells. The point and click function in this part of the game is very dodgy. I have backed out repeatedly, closed and reopened the game, but nothing unfreezes it at this point. Developers please look at this. I am using an Asus TF201.
I don't give 5 ratings often at all but this game is brilliant and charming. I admit it creeped me out as it was supposed to. Puzzles are fairly tough but solvable. All the clues are there and you don't need to look hard for objects. Beautiful graphics and great creepy music. Absolutely recommend. Very much worth the price. Hope to see more like it soon.
This game reminded me of the Haunt 1 & 2, because the graphics were very similar. It was very well made with a great storyline. The music and sound effects added to the atmosphere and the puzzles presented a good degree of challenge. I think the downside is that it felt short. But overall a great mystery game. Can't wait for the next part.
This game is good and has some tricky puzzles but every time I try and play it , it always closes on me , so I have to always try and save game instead of having to play the whole game from the beginning . please fix and then I'll give it a 5star rating
I'm glad i gave this game a chance based on the reviews. I usually won't buy adventure/hog/point & click games from new or unfamiliar devs because I've found most to be awful & extremely buggy. Not the case with this one, GLAD I TOOK A CHANCE it was a great game, can't wait for the next one. Wish it was longer though.
Enjoyable point and click game. The puzzles are good and are not obscure, though I had to use Appunwrapper and was then annoyed at myself. There was a bit of going backward and forward but was about the right amount so you had to remember places you had to return (there is a map which highlights where you are). Good enough to carry on to the next.
