I like this app because can get news from many different country's of the region also good visual easy read for me ! I find it truthful and unbiased news without much filler just to the most important recent news quickly & thoroughly..
I like The National and I am a subscriber... but this app is heavily outdated and needs an update. The other app wants an extra payment even from subscribers, and that's a bit steep.
Nice and clean, clear and simple appearance. Easy to read, free from the overabundance of ads on the browser version. Omits the comments section, but having seen the standard of such comments it's no bad thing. A bit of a shame to have to pay for it whilst many online Unionist newspapers are free, but they have to pay their staff somehow! 😁
Can't or won't download news. The news that it does ,if ever download is 3 days old. Waste of money and time
I'm a National subscriber but I have to say this app is rubbish. It won't operate on Android 9 which was released 18 months ago. Get your act together.

As a Scot I get fed up being browbeaten with English matters rammed down my throat! Why I read The National to get a purely Scottish view of world matters and not English arrogance.....

A good alternative to the many unionist newspapers in Scotland.
OK newspaper. But be warned - after 3 articles in a month they ask for a subscription.
Used to have the app with read as much as you want. I would share so many articles about Indy. Now I switch phone I can only read 2 stories per month. So much for spreading the word. So much for Indy Support.
