The NCE & CPCE Exam Prep App

Offered very detailed review questions. However not much variety in number of review questions. App/book/audio book combination I passed my NCE after graduating grad school 5 years ago, and a month of light studying. There were no suprises on the exam. I would recomend Dr. Rosenthal to anyone who is preparing ro rake counseling exams!

Very useful for review, every question has a detailed explanation which provides context and background for each possible answer, not just the right one. This way you learn 4X as much per question.

My test was nothing like app or book. I was pretty shocked. I'll find out in a month if I passed and then maybe change my review if I passed :)

I do not get the results at the end of the quiz. I know which ones I get correct & incorrect, but not a result breakdown. I've reinstalled & still not working.

It crashes/restarts EVERY TIME you click away. It's ridiculous. I lose all my progress in a section. Fix this crap.

I am unable to get the app to move beyond the Introduction. I click on "continue" and nothing happens.

Took the CPCE yesterday and none of the material covered in this app and the book are on the actul test. This app and the book are a waste of time. The only thing this app helps with is knowing the material in the book.

Since I buy, I can't used and I send a lot a email, to they in order to solve my problem and still await...They send a confirmation and thats it nothing more.

I am scheduled to take this exam in April of this year and have purchased the book already (which I sincerely recommend) this app was purchased as an additional student tool and I'm loving it!

I passed both tests, no problem. This app was far more helpful than the book to study (and far more portable too). Save your money and just get the app.

I downloaded this app last night, and my battery on my fully-charged pho e was depleted two hours later!

This app and Rosenthals book helped me pass the NCE on the first try!!!

Took the exam NCE 1/5/2016, used this app and the purple book. The exam was nothing like the book, or app, or anything that I studied, not similar at all. However, I know loads of info now. :-)

The app helped me pass the cpce exam!

Although not as in-depth, this app is much more convenient than lugging around that huge book 👍

Hint to those frustrated about it not saving your place: if you simply hit your home button, not the back button or the exit option within the app - essentially leaving the app open in your OS - it saves your place. Just don't turn off your phone :)

I have his book and audio book. This is a great little app to use when you have some time to kill. It would be better if there were more questions.

This app would be awesome if it let you save where you are in the study questions. It seems that if you exit a section you must start over.

The app doesn't hold your place when studying...and you cannot fast-forward questions to get back to your place. That's kind if silly not to mention a waste a precious study time. Fix that and the app will get 5 stars.

Why will it not let me click on the different sections!!!!!

Great for review but the test is very glitchy. When I get to the other end it will have answers that are wrong to questions I hadn't answered yet in the test part.

Used this and the book and did fine. Definitely go through the book sequentially and read the answers. If you do that, nothing will surprise you on the exam.

Both the study section and the exam section contain the same questions in the same order. Even taking the exam multiple times doesn't change the order or the questions.

This crashes way too often and always when I'm in an exam. It doesn't retain my score for what I have completed. It's discouraging.

I opened the app and my phone shut off! It would not work anymore... I am rating this using my OLD phone!

Used this as an extra support in studying for the NCE. Very useful! Highly recommended!
