The app updates, more often than not, result in the app not starting for weeks. Perhaps worse, after failing to start, the app pops up frequent messages to "Wait or close?" That close does not work; you have to go into settings and use "Force Stop." Only sometimes does the next update fix that.
Is this app stuck not to be open? Are you doing updates? What's wrong? I'll try uninstalling the app to see if that's the problem?
😃 Every Article, Layout and Organized Templets are 🥇PERFECT, with one exception ! Say your 🤓 Reading a 📰Column, the 📸Photos associated with it are a bit much if you ask me, Respectively. Some photos provided usually number in the 20-40 range! 🤯 This can be a little overwhelmingly if your trying to Correlate the two , the column and pictures. Then you'll be there nearly an hour! 🕗You know? Other than that, a SPLENDID newspaper app and RELIABLE👍 at that! 😁
The app has gone down hill, it used to be just photo galleries that froze. Now even though I am a paid subscriber. I have to login several times a day and still get told I can not access paid content. I am cancelling my subscription until they fix. It's been months.
I got their reduced cost subscription plan but canceled before the more expensive subscription charge went into effect. When I contacted them for a refund for their billing/charging error, I was told they do not issue refunds for less than $10.00
For some reason in last few months, every time I open this app I have to sign in again. Making me want to cancel subscription its so annoying. Used to read my fingerprint automatically or keep me logged in.
The application use to work fine now every time I want to read an article I have to sign in if I close the app and come back to read another article I have to resign in again it is very frustrating please fix the app so that all I have to do is sign in one time and stay signed in.
As a subscriber, I can't access news for subscribers! The page returns to sign up and pay again and again. Spoke to many reps who were unable to help me. Can't access the digital news journal or DE Online. Can't get reimbursed as well!
last year i would have given this app 5 stars hands down but its gotten greedy! every story of interest is now only for subscribers and then it limits the number of ”free" storys i can read each month!
I once how I could read any article but out of nowhere I now have to subscribe. It would be nice to be advised that this was changing.
It might be good if it actually worked. One section says no network connection, other sections work fine.
I am able to sign in to read "Subscriber" items. I have had no further issues with the app. Thank you!
I have redownloaded several times and will not work since i have updated. I am not happy I used this app all the time before this week.
This app is very knowledgable let you know what's going on in the state of Delaware all the surrounding counties and keeps the people very up-to-date.
You can find some good things on this app
Trying to get print edition so I get comics, Dear Abby, Usa and Sunday edition of Parade magazine it only gives certain topics like current news, obits and sports.
The app says I'm logged in, but I can't view content. Pretty useless for my online-only subscription.
The app keeps giving me a window to sign in when I'm already signed it. It blocks my content.
Not good at all. Will not let you see stories you pay for. Wants to keep asking you for a subscription...really
Never updated with current news. Duplicate articles and obituaries.
Dark mode pictures for articles in notification is inverted colors looks weird as anything
I have been reading DOL for years then all of a sudden there's a paywall tell me why don't advertisers provide income, to me this should be FREE , if we have an emergency will they open that article up? Readers tell me how can you bypass the wall you start reading an article all you get is two lines HELP
I love this app it makes reading the news much more convenient.

Don't save your payment information they will charge you whatever they feel like charging you.
Am I a subscriber or not? The app sure doesn't know. I subscribed through the app a few months ago and still can't consistently read articles. Not to mention, if I see an article posted to facebook that I can't read because my subscription only seems to (sometimes) work in-app, I open the app to search for it, but it doesn't exist there. I'd love to resubscribe when the time comes, but for what? I still get put behind the paywall, even though I've paid.
