The Nudge

I've had Nudge from their very beginning and immediately thought that it's a great idea if you live in a big city and can't always capture all the possible ways you could be taking advantage of what's out there. I have to admit that Nudge Plus is where one can take full advantage of the app...I have saved multiple plans and have done a couple. Felt on top of it all while doing the plan. It's most awesome when friends and family come and visit the city and you can supplement their touristy activities with cool local things to do. I can't figure out how to unsubscribe from the Nudges for couples (yes, they have that too) but other than that, it's pretty great!

I love the ideas that they provide. Coming from the NYC area, I've been impressed with how original and creative some of their plans have been. However, new content is not always consistent, and the app could still use some improvements. I'm still rooting for this company, though. Disclaimer: I don't have too much experience with their new plus subscription to influence my opinion.

In my opinion the app doesn't do much to enhance the experience of having Nudge unless you're a Nudge Plus member. The texts with the link that describe the plan are pretty informative on their own. If you have the free version of Nudge, the main benefits in the app are that you can see photo galleries and save plans in categories (At-home, Hikes, etc.) to revisit later. It would be helpful if you could see saved plans on a map to remember where things are, not sure if that's already a Nudge Plus feature.

This is one of those apps that you didn't know you needed in your life - get in. Makes coming up with new ideas for doing things with myself, my friends and date nights so much easier to come up and store away for future reference. You get nice little texts (not too often!) and then are able to link to more details in the app and easily save the experience. The content is all locally curated and specific to my city (Chicago)

I absolutely love the nudge and I'm happy they have an app, albiet with a few glitches. I think it's organized in a really helpful way for me to explore plans (I have Plus). The only issue I have sometimes is needing to re-login using two step authentication. It would be great to have fingerprint access.

I love how unique each plan is! They don't feel like they're created by someone who just scrolled through TripAdvisor. They're so beautifully customized to the local area and flavor! All of the tips about parking, directions, best times to visit, ordering food, etc. are very helpful, too!

Solid app for city visits! If I were to live in (or nearer to) the big city, I would probably benefit more from this app. I do enjoy getting ideas for my day/weekend trips to Seattle, but it's definitely designed for those who live in big cities (rather than a couple of hours away). I wish I'd had this app in college - that's for sure.

When the app first came out I absolutely LOVED all of the ideas that were sent, but recently most of the activities sent require to be a plus member. That is a little annoying but understandable as the platform grows. I also wish there were more states/city's on the list! Overall great app!

This app is super user friendly. I'll get a weekly text (sometimes more) with curated itineraries on places to see/eat/explore. I can save these on to the app and can always refer back to my favorites. I've loved exploring my city this way and found a ton of cool places i wouldn't have known about otherwise!

I really enjoy the itineraries available through The Nudge. It helps people that are new to the area like myself get to know our city a little better. There are a lot of different types of activities available to search through. I pay for Nudge Plus and feel it's worth the investment to be able to access plans that maybe didn't suit my mood when they were first published.

I've really enjoyed using the nudge app to save experiences that I haven't been able to do yet, and I also absolutely love that they don't do sponsored content. All the experiences they share (at least according to their site) are found and not paid for, which is a really fun way to instill more trust in the recommendations!

The free version is okay, honestly much of it is blocked, but the paid version is worth the monthly fee. Great suggestions, easy to use app, and well organized. They put a lot of thought into it and I'm excited to explore the offerings in other cities!

A way to explore my city like never before. I'm a college student in a big city. Most of the places, shops, restaurants, and activities I did for the past 3 years were simply what all my peers did. That is unt I found The Nudge. I've been able to find new coffee shops, parks, and fun things to do. One neat Nudge showed me where a speakeasy was in town and how to get in, and I wowed my friends. The app lets you save your favorites and I save them all.

Loving this app! The only thing I wish they'd include is restaurants that are a little more budget friendly and do less wine tasting and more family friendly, non alcoholic activities. But they really do a great job at finding cool things to do in my city! I'm very impressed!

Love the content of the app, but the UX needs some love. It's not immediately clear what content is paid vs free (I think everything on the Vault homepage is paid), and would love to not have to log in every time I open the app. Content wise the plans are great and love the visual stories they provide!

This is a great app for finding off the beaten path things to do, or just nice plans that you haven't thought about! The plans are all thoughtful and fun. There's a huge variety of things from outdoor activities, to restaurants, bars and shows.

Love using the app! You do have to save plans asap if you don't have the paid version, but nudge has helped me find new places to visit around the city many times. I appreciate that most times the recommendations are small businesses!

As a newbie to the Austin area, this has been an awesome app! It pops up in my text messages to give me inspiration for the week! I have followed many of the suggestions for Hikes, dining and shopping and am never disappointed! I have suggested this app to my friend's son that moved here too!

The nudge has unlocked a new world of experiences for my wife and I. We've gone on several adventures together thanks to this app. Gone are the days that we have to stress about date ideas/locations - The nudge handles all of that for us. It even allows you to access their vault of date ideas and save date ideas for the future (the plan is under $10, extremely affordable!). I'm glad I found this app and I look forward to more adventures to come!

This app is soooo cool!! I love the ideas. They're definitely not things I knew about or would have thought of. The plans are out together very well and every detail is covered, down to where you park and walk to get to the spot. I can't wait to try the next one!!

Highly recommend for the adventurous out-of-towner!! I'm new to the city (and state) so I downloaded Nudge to help me get out of my apartment and explore the area. Nudges have encouraged me to explore places I would have never even known about and meet people I would have never met! All the plans are still fun to do solo too for days you need a social reset but also some self love :)

Very helpful with giving new ideas for solo trips and group hangouts! Encouraging in trying new things that you never knew about in your own city. I hope there will be a day where we can switch locations and receive ideas for those city as well

I really like this app. It's a great companion to the texts. I like to scroll through past Nudges to plan different fun things to do in my city. Easy to use and intuitive.

Great app to casually get some ideas for trendy date spots and hangout ideas. Really enjoy the variety in ideas vibes from outdoor, events, drinking, price range etc. Also appreciate the customer involvement of picking a plan out of a handful and getting new ideas via customer feedback

Love love love Nudge! I have learned about a bunch of cool places in my city that I would have never know about bad I not signed up for Nudge. I have saved several "Nudges" also to refer back to (life is hectic) but CAN'T Wait to get to them!!! Brilliant idea to create an app that sends you recommendations of fun things to do with your friends or s/o and you get to support local, new and established businesses!

I use this all the time for date night, weekend outings, and restaurant ideas. The instructions are so clear and planned out and easy to save. It takes the hassle out of making plans! Defs recommend.

Have used the app several times to make plans with friends and my boyfriend. Love the suggestions as they're not the usual touristy and crowded stuff that'll just pop up when you search a location! Each plan seems to have a lot of thought and have been a ton of fun.

Edit: Really appreciate this app and what they put into it. They've thought of a lot and continue to make improvements. Definitely worth paying for Plus. Some suggestions: it would be nice if opening a link outside of the plan didn't mean when I reopen the app, the plan is now closed and I have to find it again. It would also be nice to be able to copy text within the app. Lastly, sometimes when I open the app it tells me to sign in again. But if I close and reopen it, it recalls my login.

I was really excited to try this app and get suggestions. I've been getting texts with plans and the first one I got was saved automatically. However, the next one I got was not saved and when I went to the vault, I can't click on any of the free ideas without hitting a paywall. There's a whole section devoted to Nudge Plus, so why can't I access any of the non-premium plans? As of now there's really nothing I can check out except for what is texted to me, which feels really, really limited.

I enjoy the ideas provided by The Nudge. Sometimes they're things we've already done, and sometimes you find out about cool gems! The app is a little finicky with the story feature, but otherwise good.
