Hands down, one of the worst apps ever. Received an email today to say that a gig that has been rescheduled 3 times over the last 2 years is moving to Digital tickets only, and that I had to download the app to get them. App downloaded: horrible design, useless UX, took multiple attempts to register, and to top it off, no tickets when I did finally manage to create an account and sign in. 02 are supposed to be experts in communication, but the app is just a lesson in how to do everything wrong.
Just like everyone else on this review page is saying - absolute rubbish app, doesn't send you verification email on sign up, they even made a button to 'resend' it. Link doesn't do anything. Tried reinstalling, nothing. It's just a rubbish app. There's no contact number, o2 website says the only way to get your ticket in advance and avoiding queues is through the app. The only other option is to go to the box office and collect ticket from there. What a load of w**k. Developers on this app🤦
I've got this working so I can see my tickets for tomorrow's(!) Show but this is the most awful app I've ever seen. It's slow, slow, slow, confusing and has no visible means of getting human support. The fallback option seems to be to take order printout to the venue, which takes us back 20 years. I will be avoiding O2 as a venue in future simply because of this app.
Terrible terrible terrible app! Created my account and requested a verification email that was never received. Tried over 10 times to re-send it and still no success. No phone number to contact them so forced to email them where they give you generalised standard responses of uninstall and reinstall (doesn't solve the problem) and then just tell you to go to the box office on the day. Utterly useless and avoid unless absolutely necessary.
Im reluctantly giving it just one star. But would give it zero if i could! This has got to be THE worst App ever!! Totally useless. How on earth are we able to get our tickets if you can't even sign in. O2 are supposed to be a leader in "communication", yet they can't even sort out the basics. Don't waste your time downloading, as it won't work once it's on your phone!
I downloaded the app in order to go to a highly anticipated and expensive show tonight, and after managing to go through login and registration for the 2nd time in a day (because my password was not recognised for some reason) the app keeps randomly crashing so I can't access my tickets. I only hope I can manage to get in today, but my stress levels are already extremely high and this has not been a nice experience at all.
Broken and useless, like attempts to refloat the Titanic. The app opened once and then needed multiple logins. Any further attempts later to reopen the app just cause my screen to flash and then nothing happens. This app is as satisfying as the 10 minute free view for dirty TV channels. All it needs is some dude to wave his dong in your face and demand money. Looks like the box office pick up for gigs will longer than one of Boris Johnson's parties in lockdown.
I use to love keeping my paper tickets as memorabilia for gigs I have been to. But now it seems O2 are forcing everyone to use this app. The app is terrible! My tickets a day before the gig have disappeared for long periods of time on and off! The app is constantly losing connection and the refresh button does next to nothing! Please if you're going to have a app based ticket system atleast let me download the actually ticket!! So I have a back up for when they disappear again in five sec
We were told from ticketmaster that they would not be issuing tickets and the only way to gain entry was from this app. Managed to gain access and had a barcode from the ticket section. Imagine our surprise on the night however, when we were told the barcode was not working and we would have to queue up at the box office for physical copies. Absolute waste of time
Awful app keeps crashing or does not recognise your email or password and no phone number to ring so you have to email customer services who when they eventually reply tell you to reinstall the app as the newest version is required but guess what you do that and it still doesn't work I guess I will have to go to the box office on the night and get good old paper tickets. Way too stressful for a night out which is supposed to be fun! Already questioning whether to ever book at the o2 again
Not a friendly app. The log in is a nightmare and keeps asking to resend an email to get access - over and over. Once you get in, it's not very clear to what you have on screen is an actual ticket for entry. O2 venue - come on, this can be waayyy better. #stressaddedtowhatshouldbeanamazingtime
Like others have said this app is totally useless! It will not send the verification email and if you try to log in you'll get an authentication error. If you try to use the re-send verification email option in the app it still won't work :-( I've got the AXS installed and working but how usefully that will be remains to be seen. The QR code you see in here has no details associated with my event so I've no idea if it will let me into my concert in 3 weeks, only time will tell. I did email support about the O2 app but their response was to say I should bring my proof of purchase to the O2 ticket desk and get my tickets printed off, why can't I do that now before I head to the venue, so much for progress, very disappointed.
Didn't work on event night - why do I even have to give an app that doesn't work any stars at all, Google?!? Immediately after downloading The O2 app, it worked and tickets were there, get to the O2, repeat and fail; app wouldn't even open. Tried on another phone, kept asking me to sign-in even after following verification link and signing in... Tried on a third phone and for a moment, long enough to get us all in, the app worked and tickets loaded. What a waste of time app O2 AXS sort it out!
Awful app, bought tickets for an event next week, was told I could only get tickets sent to this app, all seemed fine until I try to open up tickets and same as everyone else, the app keeps telling me my email address is wrong even though its correct! I fear the queue and the box office is going to be insane on the night, not looking forward to it at all!! Sort it out O2
Gigs at this venue force you to use this app to get in. Ticketmaster will NOT be able to send you tickets and will redirect you to the app instead. Unfortunately it regularly crashes and is needed reinstalling. If this happens at the gate then your pretty screwed! Plus the app does not allow screenshots so you can't even save your ticket knowing this can be an issue.
Created new account, followed by multiple login attempts ending with "incorrect password" or "invalid email" (on clicking forgot password). Trying to login using Facebook didn't work either. Uninstalled and reinstalled. Finally worked after creating my account TWICE: first after installing the app, then again on the ticket access Login screen which is actually a different account for AXS.
Straight up peddling lies, the fact I have to sign in every time I want to access my tickets is rubbish and makes the process even more annoying. Then the fact that I can't even screenshot the tickets to save them just incase axs decides I'm not allowed into my account is awful practise. There is so much that can go wrong in this process, why can't I just get tickets from Ticketmaster, you do not need your own app. Don't ever say this app makes things easier because it's a lie.
Worst app ever, forced to use it for event tickets but can't actually access my tickets via it. So now how do I access my tickets and go to the event I've paid a huge amount of money to attend? Truly awful customer experience, I can only imagine there will be queues of thousands at the box office on the day, trying to get our tickets because of this useless app. Last time I go to an event at an O2 venue for sure, unless they scrap this app.
App worked fine last week but today, one day before the show I'm going to, the app won't open. Restarted my phone but to no avail. Very poor that the app is unstable like this. Dunno how I get into the show tomorrow now. Edit: working after a reinstall. I hope it keeps working tomorrow for me to get in!
Terrible, was sent a link to install so I could see my tickets, ran through the install and app didnt show on my device even though it told me it was installed, finally got it installed from app store but it constantly crashes when trying to open, also will not accept my login details that I created 2 minutes after installing the app, O2 need to get this sorted, all I am seeing are bad reviews, need my tickets before the gig in June!!!
Terrible app. I got the "you have registered" email, but no verification email with link. I am very angry. Having been forced to use this app by ticketmaster, i find this unacceptable. ***SOLUTION*** GO TO GOOGLE and "problems with the o2 app for upcoming tool concerts in the uk? This is your post". This directs you to use the AXS APP. I have now got my Queen tickets for 8th june 2022. O2 customer service also suggested using AXS.
I've been told to download this to access my tickets. Every time I install it and click 'open' it crashes and a pop up says "failed to launch app". How am I supposed to access my tickets???? My concerts already been rescheduled twice I don't want to miss it because an app doesn't work!!!!
Having tried to get the app to send a verification email off and on for a whole day to no avail I looked at the reviews and see this app has huge issues. I have a gig to go to next week where this is meant to be used. I'm wondering if anyone has managed to get this app to work or if my night will just end up being in a queue to get my ticket printed.
So How Am I Supposed To Get My Tickets When This Doesn't Work??!!! Like many others, trying to get the tickets I bought over 2 years ago is impossible thanks to this nonsense. Created a login, used the email I used for my tickets and got a verification request via that email... Fine. Tried to log in and it won't accept the password. Ok... Clicked forgot password and it says the email I'm trying to use to reset it is invalid! What. The. Actual....?! How am I supposed to get my tickets now?!
I can agree with all the other comments logged about this useless app, keeps asking to provide a valid e-mail which of course I have done, all to no avail, such a waste of effort. Contacted customer service about this & will now bring ID to venue in order to have tickets printed. Already have original paper tickets which was prior to covid cancellations.
Utterly useless. Don't waste your time. Created an account. Verified my email using the link it sent. Got confirmation I now have an account. Try accessing tickets, told to log in. Then it doesn't recognise my email address, the same address it just verified! Can't reset password as doesn't recognised my verified email. So, can't even log in. Uninstalled and tried with 2nd email address. Verified that email too. But still not recognised when I try to log in to the account. Incredible!🤣🤣
This app is useless. Bought tickets for an event cancelled twice by covid. 3 years later it is happening. 2 days before event told tickets now only valid through this app. Manged to set up account and tickets seemed to arrive bit been kicked out of app since and unable to log in being told username/password wrong despite correct details entered. Tried to reset password but no email being sent. Tried to reinstall - no change. Would give negative stars but won't allow. Useless piece of.......
Absolutely terrible app. Even the basics of sending a verification email doesn't work. Customer service are useless, they just tell you go to the box office to get the tickets printed. Please just acknowledge that the app doesn't work and send people their tickets by email.
Well this app turned my experience upside down. It was perfect when you ordered your tickets online and they were posted to your house. No problem whatsoever. But for some absolutely stupid reason, O2 decided to wipe this perfectly working system with this app. And let me tell you, it has turned the process of looking forward to a concert, to a build up of stress for the struggle of using this app. Not impressed whatsoever. Please 02, change it back to the way it worked. 🙏
