The Obituary App
Once you download The Obituary App, connect your Facebook contacts, phone contacts, and select as many cities as you want. You may choose whether to be notified automatically of any new obituary posted that fits your personal criteria. You can also quickly and easily search obituaries throughout the U.S. by name or city or browse through your own feed at your convenience.
No longer do you have to subscribe to multiple newspapers, search the web for death notices in multiple cities or search out funeral home websites to find the obits that are important to you. Many of us rely on obituaries to let us know when a distant family member or friend has passed.
Obituaries are sometimes the only way we learn of fallen soldiers or when our relationships might be affected by a death close to them. The same is true for those we care about in our community. It’s easy, it’s free, it’s valuable information.

Uninstalled before using it. I didn't realize it was going to require me to create an account and agree to pages of legal mumbo jumbo, privacy policy and whatnot. I don't need one more "account" to keep track of. There might have been an option to use a Facebook account but I don't need another service tied to that company either. It might be a good app but too many strings attached.
I submitted my son obituary and I can find it post but I keep getting notifications that it was posted
Works fairly well when you set the cities you want to follow. I wish there was a way to filter out all the pet obits! Update: contacted developer, and still have to wade through all of the pet of obituaries!
Takes a long time to load. Shows way more obituaries then I asked for. Some over 100 miles away.

Absolutely Useless, I have Denver, Co listed and I'm seeing Georgia, Tennessee and Grand Junction... Oh and Denver. Deleted
Great for finding obits in Petal and surrounding areas.
Installed it couldn't even open it at all. So I uninstalled it.

I read some of the obituaries that I saw and I read through the mall sometime I thought to myself what could I say for myself when my time comes before my obituary come out I don't know what to do I'm always the victim to what can I do
I haven't found anyone and as far as I understand it you have to go through millions of name's ten people at a time in order to find the person you want
I like this one because that's why we buy the paper

Fake obituary application 699 Years to Life
Uploaded the app, input 3 cities. That app has been "loading obituaries" now for over 30 minutes. Doesn't seem to be doing it's job.
