I need a refund. The app worked for 2 videos then after I downloaded 10 more it decided to not let me see any of the new or previous videos. Just a black screen with a cross in the corner. ive tried deleting content then re-downloading them, but it makes no difference. I'm using a One Plus phone. Please issue me a refund. Thanks.
Very sloppily put together. The hazard on number 23 doesnt begin to develop until there are only 2 points left to score. many of these hazards are impossible to see because of the video resolution too- they seem to be heavily compressed and appear grainy with my phone screen right next to my face on a 1080p screen. Thinking of making my own hazard perception app, seems pretty lucrative and the competition isnt very difficult either
Feel just like this app was made to get some extra money from outdated material. which speaking of, is of very old and the quality is making it hard to perceive. i'm an experienced driver and bought this app to practice for a lorry category. i was hoping to see videos that would appear in actual test. Asked for refund. also point administration in these clips is awful.
This app only has 30 clips and all are real life clips, not the CGI clips. The online version has 130 clips, but it's £30 for both Theory and Hazard Perception. Think about what you want before buying, ive used it and its OK, but also bought Driving Test Success and they have 34 CGI clips and 51 real life clips.
While the app presents a range of hazard scenarios, the point at which they are deemed 'developing' seems extremely subjective. Spotting a fraction of a second too early means you lose 5 marks. I understand this is how the DVSA's system works, but it seems unscientific and non-rigorous. If a hazard is identified early enough and for the right reasons, due credit should be given.
Not sure if this is an error on my part but I assumed these clips (as well as the ones in the kit app) were the ones used on an actual theory test but not a single one was. Maybe it needs to be made more clear these are just EXAMPLES and the DVSA won't use these exact clips.
it cant open the video, and app pushing ann error "to i had moved its content to an another place" i deleted them and download again and still some problem, using galaxy S9+. i used another your application(DVSA theory test), there was everything fine also with video playback. basicaly just vasted money looks like. have made a refund
I didn't like this app as much as the theory one as it doesn't give you the option to take a practice test as you would on the real test. The downloads use a lot of memory as well when these could just be pre stored on the app.
Had this on iPod a few years back, worked no problem. Downloaded it onto the phone the other day, and every time I play a clip it cuts out a few seconds in- so I can't practice. Disappointed I had to pay for a faulty app :(
While I like the idea of the Hazard perception test, I don't like the execution or the way you're evaluated. With that said, this app really helped me to understand and pass the hazars perception test. I already had bought the other DVSA app (another great investment!) but it didn't have enough videos. This one provided the extra practice I needed. I passed the test on my first try. Highly recommended.
Too few clips. Seriously, only 30 clips, took me less then hour to try them all. Some competitive aps have close to 100, why you official app has soo little like you stole them? Also can't position a clip to an exact moment you'd want to review, have to watch the whole repeat to get to hazard scene
App contents is now very dated. The test changed to CGI videos 6 years ago, these are still the old ones. They aren't as clear as the newer videos, also there just aren't many of them. There are better apps using the new CGI training videos and a lot more other videos for the same money. Time to look elsewhere unless they change to the newer videos.
I bought both the Hazard Perception app and Theory Test app. The latter was quite useful, but the Hazard Perception wasnt; it doesnt prepare you for the anti-cheat software in the actual test or let you know you that u will also be scored for how you click. I failed the hazard perception test even though I scored quite high in the practice clips in the app. The app didnt make me aware I was meant to click in a certain way.
After I completed the first 17 scenes, all of the videos stuck at the first image frames, some colors has changed and I cannot use the app anymore. Restarting my phone and deleting/downloading the videos again did not solve the problem. I have a Nokia 3...
It's a good app but I would recommend practising on a computer for the hazard perception as it is harder to see on small screen. Would recommend this app for practice but not to replace practising on a computer screen.
Passed my test first time after practice in this app got 52 out of 75, my recommandation is yes its a helpful but just a suggestion please update the version as not mentioned if u clicked several times got zero marks on the screen, i got two clips with zero marks. cheers
These are all old style, filmed hazard perception clips, which are frankly not much use for preparing for the new style cgi clips which are much clearer and less subjective.
Really helped me pass my theory test and would recommend to anyone preparing for theirs. The videos do take a while to download however but that wasn't a big issue for me.
Great for extra practice got a 69/75 on hazard test would've had more but got a zero for clicking too many times on one of the videos..gutted lol anyway its good if you use it with the dvsa theory app. you will pass first time.
old outdated video and low in video quality, totally waste of money. The app marketed itself as official is truly misleading.
would highly recommend this add on app for extra learning although the videos didn't come up on my theory test they helped me pass my theory test the other day first time. makes you aware of developing and hazards. it's worth paying for the extra videos. good luck all A****
Bought to help with hazard perception but it won't recognise when I touch screen. So not getting any passes. Even though when I reveiw i did press at correct times
This a brilliant app. I practiced on it a few times and the actual tesr is very similar. I passed today with a high score. I highly recommend it.
Hello. I purchased this app and kit app. Once started using, I realized the kit app already contains the hazard part. Any chance this can be refunded? Thank you in advance for your convenience.
When clicking on the video, on some of these clips I have straight away press because see a hazard, and clips are too short.
Failed my hazard perception test. Few videos were from the app. Majority were completely different, not included in the app.
Clips freeze after a few seconds, and you need to reinstall the entire app to fix this common issue
I dowloaded the app and then clips in it but it doesnt play when i tap on play. I tried lots of times but it doesnt play. Really disappointed.
Have I really just paid 3 quid for 30 videos? Wheres the rest? Very disappointed. There's more than that in the official theory app that I already had. What a waste of money.
In the actual test, if you click once per hazard you will probably fail, and if you click several times quickly you will fail. The maximum number of times you can click before you get 0 is random. This app lets you click 10 times per clip and doesn't care if you click several times in a row. The problem is more with how the actual test is done than this app, but I'm giving this 1* because it is not an accurate representation of how the test scores you. If anything, this app helped me fail.
