You get one match every day with the Spin of a lucky wheel which is filled with great matches tailormade just for you. With less than 24 hours to go you need to chat with your match and see if you have any chemistry because when the time runs out, the match disappears forever... unless, that is, you both hit the Extend Chat button.
But there is a huge catch, and it’s a real Cinderella moment too! You won’t know if your match wants to extend the chat with you until the time runs out. If either of you does not Extend the chat, the match disappears; out of sight, out of mind.

While ghosting (the act of disappearing or stopping all communications) is a massive problem in online dating, the reason it exists is that people are initially drawn to each other but then the feelings fade, and it’s just easier to bail out than face the problem. The One is designed to battle ghosting because matches, by default, disappear from the list when the time runs out unless both parties are excited to see if they can take things further. This leaves no guesswork to either user, no stringing-along for days, and usually less hurt feelings in the long run.
Furthermore, this takes the pressure off users. You can initiate a chat and take chances because you know the match is gone if the conversation doesn’t take off and you’ll get another one tomorrow.

Slow, sluggish and buggy app. Half the words are missing most of the letters. Very slow interaction.
I ike the idea, just has a few bugs to sort out. For instance sometimes when I try to write answers for my bio, the keyboard comes up then just goes back down so I can't answer certain things or the app simple crashes
Seems like a decent app, although it feels like it needs fleshing out a lot. It's very lacking in features and options. Also for those who are alternative, or just non-mainstream, having a limited number of people to trash is very hindering. Most people aren't going to be compatible so you need to be able to select no on a lot of people. Also just noticed that the age range slider is broken for me and doesn't work.
This app has a lot of potential however you really need to work on its technical quality. For an app with such a limited scope there's just too many things not working right. Resuming the app seems to mess with the 'spark' counter. I also seem to miss out on a profile if I task switch, the app decides I now need to look at a different profile. For an app that makes me wait to see new profiles I see too many duplicates. I've got more but I'm out of characters for this review.
It keeps showing me guys as well even though I've set it on "women". This makes me waste likes/dislikes on dudes... And the "contact us" button doesn't work.
Loved the concept of this but very few available people around here, hope that changes soon
Fun app, but definitely not enough users and no incentive to use the app. I'm in Denmark and I keep getting Icelandic girls.
The app works just fine and has a lot of very friendly interactive options and means for people to connect. Also, I feel the algorithm used to find matches here is really good! Cheers to the team.
I downloaded this app out of mere curiosity but got stuck to it. I really like the overall concept of the app because it lets me connect to people who match my interests and don’t judge me just by face. I would love to use it to find the best one compatible with me.
Terribly ootimized. I have a new high end phone but this app lags and stutters.
You have to provide private information to even sign up, using either your phone number or Facebook. Sorry. Not going to do that. Uninstalled.
Unstable mess, buggy and overall poorly optimized
Verh buggy mess! I agreed to extend conveesation with a match. But the app deleted her anyhow. I keep getting unlucky spins (whatever that means) Worthless app. Needs tons more polish
Good idea but with horrible execution. I only have 500 letters but could use 5000 There are no notifications on this app. If someone matches with you, you will not realize that until you open up the app and check it Old matches clear at midnight. So that means if you discover that someone matched with you at 21:00 you better hope that person is still checking the app There is no way to set distance or age limits, that means hello person from 200km away 2x older or younger No bio Ran out of lette
I’ve had a good experience here, as usual, like-minded and honest people are here. Based on the questionnaire their in-house complex algorithm pairs us with potential matches according to our geographic and ethnic choices. This app will be the one for you.
I’ve used quite a few of them. I found this to the most effective one. I prefer it more than Tinder or any of those so-called giants. I’ve met more people in the real world through The One than anything else.
Pretty cool app but it's incredibly slow and doesn't feel smooth at all. I would also like it if i could turn off the "your sparks is full" notification and keep message notifications on. It's all just "miscellaneous" so i either turn all of the notifs off or none
