The Othello

Downloaded because I was a novice that regularly got thrashed by a friend who taught me the game in real life. User interface looks dated, but its snappy and well organised. I like that it shows you all legal moves each turn. Computer difficulty scales well + you can add a handicap. Overall I wanted a free app, that looks okay, works and will help me improve in real life. It's done all that perfectly. Would reccomend to novices on a budget, no idea if it would appeal to an expert.

Excellent version. 30 levels of difficulty. As the box used to say "a minute to learn, a lifetime to master". This is great and shows levels of play by computer that are mind-blowing!

Game could really use an online or puzzle mode or something, rather than always playing against a emotionless computer. The auto pass when you don't have a legal move might need another looksee, because more than once, it passed me when I know I had legal moves but the computer refused to let me go.

this is actually a decent game. the only gripes I have are the sounds, which sound like static, and when you buy it, instead of ads, there is now this huge big white space. continue the background to the bottom would be a better choice than the white other than that, great game

I had this when I was younger and couldn't get past level 9. I just redownload and am now at level 15! There's up to 30 levels (of difficulty), and really good for practice because they're clues & undo button so u can learn along the way while practicing

stuck on 18 and i can never get a corner spot and it forces me to make moves that cost me the game. Play was better on the other levels but the higher the level the more it cheats. Not giving up yet but getting very frustrated by it.

Simple and relaxing to play. The perfect game, even for people (like me) who DON'T like to play video games AT ALL (Of course, regarding myself (who actually LOVES video games, but DOESN'T like to "waste too much time" playing them), THAT'S a LIE(!), but who on Earth really even CARES?!!!)!

I found perfect game. perfect graphics, perfect flipping sound, perfect motion of chip flipping and shadow on it. Love ittt tooo much...

This is the WORST game i havr ever played in my life!! I mean seriously when i play with the computer it just keeps skipping my turns and the options are too less sometimes it dosent give more than a single option!!! DONT INSTALL. I repeat... DON'T.

Upto 15 level I can beat computer I know the trick...but at one piont it becomes boring as there is no veriety in the game.

Ads are annoying, but you can just close out the app, reopen it and it'll resume. Merely an inconvenience.

Uncontrolled AD is a big "turn off" to me. If I want to play other games, I'll go searching for what I want. Other wise, like app set-up to play this game

Recent update makes the screen difficult to read. Previous version was much clearer. Poor choice, my friends!

just installed today and I'm being barraged by tons and tons of ads if I click the "new game" button and take me into another ad. then when I get out of the ad i find out it hasn't taken me to the new game menu so i have to hit again

I like it! When I used to beat my sister at this game, then she would beat me-...It seems like the game is faster than it should be and cheats that way without my being able to catch it!

too. many times. passes my turn before i have a chance to pass myself. should be My choice to pass or quit u got to fix problems. starting on level 10. are u stupid. oh yea. u in ia. different from intelligence give u -14 scale dont go down that far....

Whenever your about to win on the higher levels it cheats and forces you to pass but you can't even pass by choice and there is no pass in othello.

I've played this game every since its conception it would be nice now that it's on a tablet that it can be an online challenge with other fellow players

I really loved playing the game, but then all the ads were surveys that promoted Trump, so I had to uninstall. It's supposed top be a have, but a political platform (or so I thought) 😡👊🏾😡👊🏾😡👊🏾

I love playing this game. This one definitely has the hardest computer to beat of all the ones I've played

After 10 adverts get rid of it and your app cheats. The computer plays at higher level.

I hate this game because when I play with computer always it only wins the game. All will think that I will not play nicely so I lost. But it's not truth. It's really worst game ever.

Nice app , it's not that computer only wins but you don't know hot to play . The one who complain about the app are wrong . I've used it it's very nice

Tha ads are *really* noisy and intrusive. The ui needs to be more intuitive
