Amazing game, a few glitches, but that's to be expected from a very old game. The ads are annoying, but it's a free game so I'm not complaining. Not sure if it is possible to trade pokemon since I can't evolve some of my pokemon without it, meaning I can't complete the pokedex, but other than that, I highly reccomend this game as it is fun to play and great for being able to replay an older version. I also love the addition of cheat codes as they have helped me many times throughout the game.👍
Reminisce your childhood experience! But there's a big problem. It is hard to save your progress on this game. Not like the original saving process. Mine example. I am closing in on the Indigo Plateau then all of a sudden while trying to load my game by trying to catch Moltres in cave. My game doesn't save my progress. When loading, it returned me to the first time I saved, which is having my 1st badge in the game.
Great app! I would give it 4and a half stars but it wont let me, the only problem I have is the adds that cove the speech box, but all I have to do to cover that is to turn off my wifi and restart game and BOOM! It is gone, but that is the only issue I have, so yeah, this comment was supposed to be a comment on how to fix the adds that cover up the speech box so yeah
Absolutely AMAZING. PERFECT. I never write reviews for anything but this game deserves a great review. It's exactly what it says it is. You can move the layout for the buttons, change screen size to suit your hands or phone.. And much more! Thank you so much. So Nostalgic.. Thank you.
I was so excited to find this game and even more so to find it was just like the original, sadly once I passed the 1st gym the game lost my save, I decided to carry on as I had only lost about 5 levels on each of my pokemon and my badge. I continued to level my pokemon back up and then it glitched again and lost more levels! Itll glitch in the middle of a fight and move you somewhere else. I would really like someone to contact me from the publishers of this game, it has so much potential!
I didn't as many issues some of the other reviews claimed. Very few ads; no glitches; no freezing screen. The app ran very smoothly; if only they had some of the other Pokemon versions that were smooth sailing like this one. I definitely enjoyed playing this game :)
Pokemon Red. This is a good emulator and it's fun. It isn't low quality and doesn't lack any details, but I would rate higher if it didn't have sudden fashes of lights and flickers. From a gaming standpoint just add an easier way to cheat please. I've played through long enough to get bored and not having enough Downtime to actually grind through and gain items or Pokemon.
It's a great app I am a Pokemon red fan first and had played a long time ago but this app emulator just won't open up again it's just stuck on the Square picture. While if you help get the Square off the screen so I can reopen up the app again and play it. I will be happy to change my star ratings. So for now it's a 4 and no higher than that..
Perfect, exactly like the original. But it asks for access to photos, videos and files which is weird, also theres a random ab button which I still don't know what the point of it is
Excellent app. Really enjoyed playing the origional game, no lagging or glitches. Only recieved an ad when accessing the main menu off the emulator. Highly recommend downloading if you are a fan of the origional pokemon games.
It works perfectly, it feels just like how the Gameboy feels. This works better than all the other pokemon emulators on the appstore. Also it lets you chose how you want it to look and play in the settings, and you can add cheats to the game from the same menu you find the settings
Really like the game I have always wanted to play pokemon red. Their are alot of adds if you have internet turned on. The one problem is hm's wont pop up but Tom's will and its annoying because I cant get flash or cut so I cant pass the level and get to the next gym.
It's working with a few glitches but it's really fun! The only problem I have is that whenever I defeat the elite four, it makes me go into the opening screen then spawn me at my house in pallet town. When I go to the elite four, it makes be hattle them again.
Its listed as "red and blue" but its only red version. Wish you could switch as you wont get certain pokemon - Other than that, solid game port. Hint: turn on airplane mode to play and prevent ad pop ups.
I saw alot of people saying that had problems with saves but I never had any issues the entire game. Just finished the elite 4 with 5 pokes over level 50 and never had any glitches. Great app. So much fun to play classic red again!
I like how it is a free way to play Pokemon. It comes with a cheat section giving you lots of freedom to customization, and isnt full of ads. Sure, there is an ad at the start and little pictures of ads at the bottom, but I can get around that. It runs surprisingly well for a mobile emulator, and is overall just a great use of the source code for pokemon. You don't have to buy a GameBoy, Pokemon Red or Blue, and no game genie is required for cheats. 5/5 in my standards.
The graphics ain't great but it actually has the full story of red and blue gameplay but in a white, gray, and black version instead of a bunch of colors but it is very good! But for now I'm giving it a 3* rating because of the graphics.
Amazing quality, super nostalgic. Never an issue booting it up. Ads, but extremely rare (usually the odd one when loading the emulator). Highly reccomend!
I play on an old phone and i dont even experience any lag and even if you do you can turn down the grqphics settings for a better running game. Its a great port from the original and brings back alot of nostalgia

Great game, but the ads at the bottom cover half the text that shows up and i dont know what it says. if you could move the screen out of the way, thatd be great
Very glitchy :( I am losing progress out of nowhere constantly. Win a Gym battle? Lose the badge...fighting an opponent? Glitch and you're suddenly fighting a character you beat hours ago. Dont even get me started on the cruise ship battles...Tried all three saving methods nothing helps. Please fix.
Great app. I was able to play over 3 hours, and counting with no problems. If you like the pocket monsters series, or are playing a pm game for the first time, USE THIS APP!!!
This is amazingly good! One problem is it would go back to previous areas you completed wich does get annoying but overall it's great!
really good but the reason i give 4 stars is because at some times it has yellow red and blue lines poo up on screen but they go away thats really the only issue but would love if it could flip sideways and fullscreen
Ok, it's REALLY GOOD for a Pokemon game, and it feels like a real Gameboy but their Is SO MANY GLITCHES! I can't even complete the game because even though I did everything the door to the last gym is still shut! And it lagged my phone that I had to shut it down way to many times. other then that it's a really good game
Amazing game. Thx for creating this really liked to feel like how gen 1 was like. I really enjoy the game it is pretty cool and amazing. But I'm writing to complain that the ads that pop up at the bottom. You see, it keep poping up so when I had to press the down button it switched my screen to the ad. So I had to report it saying I am not intrested but it kept poping up the same ads. Plz make the game ad free. I'm sure other people will have the same complains as me🙏🙏
