The PCH App

This used to be a great app. It's had multiple problems the last month but is nearly useless now. There is a new Windows 11 add that locks the system causing a loss of points and worse entries. What's the use of the game it not for sweepstakes entries and to build up tokens. I'm an elite player also have reached the highest level possible in the game. I've contacted PCH multiple times about this issue. Been weeks, no update, all bonus sweeps entries I'm given error out, win 11 ad reboot. SAD

Very poor app, always shows error message at first use each day. You have to close the app, clear everything and reopen. Ads will show 15 seconds while the ad is playing but the 15 seconds take as long as 55 seconds to reach zero. When ads are done it takes too long to cancel it out and get back to the game, when they had it done they should just be an ex that you tap and that is gone. You need to go back to the old PCH app.

This thing is so slow, unresponsive and at the same time chaotic and busy that it feels like I'm using Internet Explorer 7 with several pop up add producing tool bars installed. I feels like it was built by an expert in intrusive browser ads. I have 20+ years of cross platform software development experience, several of those in android. I hate this so much that I'll rewrite it for you for $500. That's a great deal. Take me up on it.

Face it, you're not going to win. The odds are a billion to 1. Insanity is repetitively doing the same thing, expecting different results. Don't waste your time. I've participated in almost all of these sweepstakes daily ever since this app was created and never won anything. Unexpected Error messages still show up after having reinstalled the app many times.

I have full bars & full WIFI but the app keeps asking me to verify my network over & over again. So I uninstalled the app & saw that they have a new app so I installed that one, thinking that with all the complaining that they must have fixed the problem with a new app, but nope! I've lost days off & on where I built up a lot of tokens but lose them because I can't play if it quit seeing my network. I can be playing a few hours & it stops working right. Very disappointed!

I've revised my previous rating as they have since fixed the problem and I'm happy with the changes and how the app functions. My only complaint is that some of the ads take up the entire screen and I'm unable to click out or use the app at all until I force close it and restart. I understand the need for ads, that's fine, but if we could format the ads to fit the screen so that once they're done running I can properly click out I'd rate this app 5 stars.

This app has problems dealing with transitions. It often hangs and has to be restarted when trying to change from, say processing entries to displaying a treasure chest. The ads have a variety of exit points, some having no exit. Choosing the 'home' menu option helps sometimes but not always. Watching ads can be really boring, and having to restart all the time causes lots of frustration.

02/10/22 Not sure what the issue is specifically, but for the past week, cannot open app from the push notifications. Works fine otherwise, but lose out on bonus entries, etc because of it. My guess is that the last android update is the root cause, as a few other apps have problems as well, even after uninstalling and reinstalling.

Recently, the ads don't have an X out. I have to completely exit the app and then go back in. It sometimes says my entry was counted, other times it doesn't. I'm sure I've lost Forever Prize Entries for the February 28th 2022 event because of this. Also, the ads take too long. Sometimes the ap glitches and allows the loading progress without ads. I can get through all entries on all 3 levels in 30 minutes, approx 10 mins per level. With the ads, it takes 5 hours. That is a lot of time in my day.

I supposedly have to complete 7 sweepstakes before I can unlock the chest, BUT NONE OF THEM WILL OPEN! I also understand the whole ad thing, but starting yesterday, ADS are interrupting me when I'm trying to "spend" my tokens! I've put SO MUCH time into your sweepstakes, it seems to me that I should be able at least spend my tokens without ads

I Love PCH, been playing over a year now. But there's times when I try to download a site from my email and it just freezes up. And of course its always an important messages. The Searches usually messes up. It happens in all the apps, lotto, wordmania, pch+, pch, pch, frontpage,. Its hard to keep up with all the emails saying "Enter" now before "deadline" or you will forfeited. To many Searches, and entries,keep doing them over and over. I'M IN IT, TO WIN IT!!

I know ads are necessary but why do the boring multipart yahoo and now others adds constantly repeat. Huge waste of time and extremely irrating to the point I am considering uninstalling the app! It appears that these adds ramp up at times to where I am spending more more than twice the the time using the app than I have in the past. The only other alternative is to minimize to a limited number of entrys. These excessive adds spoils the experience of a really great app!

It doesn't work properly with Android 9. It constantly freezes and you miss bonus daily prize entries from closing and reopening the app. If you play the slots game, you close and open the app 35 times to get through a round - unless you don't get points on a spin, then it will advance to the next spin. A real p.i.t a.

I want to continue to enter for prizes but after I watch the 3 to 4 ads, the app freezes up at the token awards screen. The only way to get past this is to close out of the app and reopen it. I've uninstalled and reinstalled, but the same problem persists. This gets very frustrating. Galaxy S10e.

This isn't that bad, it does have alot of pop up ads that can get closed out but some you can't close out and feel like forever to wait thru like the mistplay ads i hate those. Also, i messaged the dev about an issue that I've been experiencing within 1 part of the app and haven't gotten a response not even an automated one. I'm now having freezing issues on the pch lotto as well doubt I'll get a reply. I kill time on this app, the pch+ and the pch lotto. But seems help from dev is zero.

I have not seen such a buggy software from any other company, except from PCH. Many times during game play, app just quits or gets stuck. Also several buttons don't work at all. And PCH support needs to learn how to read emails, I work in IT, so I know how to file a bug. I submit all needed info, including OS and app versions and I include screenshots, and I tell them I already tried clearing cache and looking for update. And they just respond with generic email telling me to clear my cache.

I know many people complain about the adds on these apps, but I get why they are there. My problem is sometimes they have a new add that pops up and just sits there indefinitely. There's no way to get out of it without completely closing the app. Then you open back up to the entry you were doing to be completed and on that note also not sure if my entries for that are actually even being processed properly due to the issue. I play every day, but those are a really big hinderance.

100% ads, in order to "enter for these prizes", one must watch 2-3 ads, just out of curiosity I left one ad up for 5 minutes instead of exiting out afterwards, I still had to watch another 2... I've been trying pch for decades out of hope and desperation, never known, heard about, or met anyone who has won, pch is a rip off who will sell your info, and now they've simply packaged their poisonous product in a much more inconvenient app, btw a lot of "loading" time as well!

I am having difficulty responding to notificatons sent to me. A glitch in the app frequently says " the content you are looking for is unavailable at this time" So it makes it impossible to respond when this happens. Otherwise, the app is great!!!

Was loving the app but now programming problem. Not your fault but needs addressed. After upgrading to Android 12, the notifications no longer open the app. I am not getting the bonus points as well as not getting the convenience of opening the app from the reminders. My daughter is a telecom engineer and can't find a way to fix it. Happening on her phone too. Fix that and you guys get another 5 star review! 😉👍

Well, it wasnt working correctly, but it was working. 4.26.22. Still does not complete the token reward page. Freezes along with the daily prize section on the bottom. Does NOT show tokens being awarded, and I have to simulate closing the app, to get back to the games section

Been playing pch faithfully for 40 + years..even before it was an app I mailed all my entries before the deadline. All I have to show is a whopping 600+ million tokens & used about 300 millon trying to get a $100 gift card from walmart. Makes me kinda wonder if it's really legit..guess there's nothing wrong with dreaming. At this point I'll settle for the the postage I dished out..it may add up to a mortgage payment!!

Lots of fun. And you could win something. What's not to like?.... I've been playing for a year now, won something in the beginning, but nothing since. Seems like more commercials too. They used to stop after the first round, now sometimes all the way through. A lot of time spent for very little return.

The graphics seem to be designed specifically to waste your time. If I'm going to play, I'd rather just play and not see a bunch of time-wasting graphics. In addition, I realize that ads are a necessity, but most of the ads are for scams. Which is completely aggravating.

I keep getting configuration not available. Or unexpected error. I can't access My scratch off games I earned being a VIP elite. The app is loading slow. I have reset My device and uninstalled and reinstalled the app. I really enjoy playing. But, I can't if I have no way if it will not work properly. Please look into this. Thank you.

The game is very addicting. I've played it as much as possible from November of last year until now hoping to win enough to buy my own land and get out of debt. Most I've won was $10. Time to step away from it all to focus on getting things done and not be constantly playing anymore.

You guys are worse than panhandling bums on the corner. I take a break from your game, only to get a swarm of emails giving the false impression that you've won something, only to get you to open back up and continue playing more. If someone wants a break from your futile game then don't pressure them to play ESPECIALLY when this whole system is a damn lie.
