The Phantom Fable

This game had so much potential! Cute art, new characters, collectables, original voice acting, but... It's way too short (around 4h) and the controls with the symbols are hot garbage, Amethyst is almost unplayable, 90% of the time her whip fails or you swap to Garnet by accident because the symbols overlap with each other! Also some instructions before the boss fights would have been great, only because I can google them it doesn't mean I should.

I have really enjoyed the game so far, but there are a lot of bugs and glitches, for ex when you try to draw out your attack it doesn't alwasys come out right. Also in the abandoned ward, Garnet is unable to pick up the green explosives, causing me to be unable to complete the game even after uninstalling and reinstalling. I have been waiting for a while to get this fixed, so until this glitch is fixed I'm giving this game 2-1 stars.

While I'm excited to see a new Steven Universe game, I've got to say after playing about 5 minutes of gameplay, this game needs optimization. Framerate feels a bit low, and drawing to use attacks seems a bit tacky, especially with Pearl's spear throw, I'm now stuck at a part that I can't seem to get by because of how poorly executed her spear throw is. Overall this game has caught my interest and I wish to play more. Hope these problems get fixed.

cant get past the first room of the first "chapter" in the game because I cant even move from the spawning point. trying to move just results in either nothing at all, or a line thats stuck diagonally from the upper right to the middle of the screen. tried force stopping the app, clearing the data, clearing the cache, and even reinstalling. nothing has worked. fix this bug, please.

This game was fantastic! Short, but really good. I enjoyed the gameplay style, and while there were some places where it was hard to coorperate with the objective and the surroundings, I got it and beat the whole thing 100%. I do think in the future, for sure, to make the game longer and more enjoyable would be to have Peridot, Lapis, and Bismuth as playable characters with a story line (canon and all). It'd attract much more of an audience and likingness!

This game is really enjoyable but one problem I am having occur is when I get to Garnets second part she won't pick up the green explosive. I don't know if that's intended or not but I would like to finish the game. If this is an issue that isn't going to be fixed then what's the point on buying the app?!

was making good progress,but the second part to Garnets route after collecting Pearl got stuck,and since it doesn't have a save data type thing ,i dont want to uninstall and have to do everything all over again. Im at the part where Garnet is to pick up a green energy ball thing and my problem is she wont. refreshing the app doesnt work

The puzzles were good , confusing and fun but it's framerate is a bit too low as well as the part in Pearl's chapter, I can't get pass it but hopefully the game will get a BIG update towards framerate , graphics and even design very soon. Also the part where drawing lines are someyimes not working.

Super glicthy and a waste of 3 bucks. I had the attack the light game and thought it would be just as fun. Upon opening the app the game continues to crash. Wait to get this game so the programmers will hopefully fix this bug infested mess.

TL;DR Nothing is good, everything is bad. Even the things people are liking in the reviews are the same things that all of the negative reviews hate. Controls are inconvenient, the art is limited and strange, the puzzles are often matching symbols to the ones in the room (like skyrim), you are forced to backtrack, the story arcs are rushed, most of the machanics feel dumb and shoehorned in for filler (swipe a third time with amethyst, unmentioned, secret, useless ability), many bugs, and more!

It's a great game, but I can't make it past the first boss. The drawing mechanic barely works and I spent 30 minutes trying to unsuccessfully light the torches

No where near as fun as the previous mobile game. The controls suck and the gameplay is confusing, I never no where to go or what to do and the map is never right. Waste of my money.

I was really excited when I saw the new release since I loved Attack the Light, but this uses completely different mechanics. Attaching and moving just feels bad, the sprites have vacant expressions, and the story is pretty meh...

Can the creators please add more levels and for some reason there was two of them.There names are pantom and fable then pantom just disaperd and never came back. But it was a good game just needs more levels.

Do not buy. There is a game-breaking glitch that makes the game impossible, and after two years it has not been fixed.

Flusterd! There is way to much happening at once, and half the time i cant get the attacks to work.... And Steven moves on his own when im trying to attack! I was so looking forward to this game. I love Steven Universe but I cant get throught the first boss.

good but there's a bug that sometimes causes the drawing line to stick on the screen, and I can't do anything until i re open the game.

I liked the game but it was really buggy and when I tried to redownload it, it couldn't make it past the loading screen. disappointing.

Don't waste your money. Controls are way too difficult and complicated and often the other sprites dont even work (Connie barely uses her sword, its difficult to throw Pearls spear correctly, also Pearl got stuck multiple times and just didn't move, and all of this leads to Steven getting hit constantly). Got a refund because honestly I didnt want to rage over unfair control mechanics. Dissapointed to say I'll just have to look up the gameplay on youtube to get the story.

While I enjoy Steven Universe and have enjoyed Attack/Save the Light, something about this one I just didnt enjoy. I think it was the patterns and how precise they have to be.

The controls are too hard to use and the story is confusing. The game gives almost no guidance of what your suppose to do.

great game. interesting story controls are diifrent and hard to use but once you learn them the game is very fun.

the puzzles are fun, but using some of the gameplay only works sometimes and that's more than annoying

You don't explain the boss battle, the moth baddies can hurt when there's a little talking scene and if you die then the game crashes and the drawing mechanic doesn't work half the time.

Game would be fun if the level with the bombs wasnt broken. Impossible to continue without them.

Very difficult puzzles, we are given no indication of how to beat the bosses and the sigils don't even work half the time

Very cool. I think every fan should get it. It may have some bugs or glitches that I hope they'll correct soon.

It's too many bugs i wanted to get my money back but it was too late it hadn't even been twenty four hours yet.

It's really hard to control the characters. And overall a horrible game, is it possible I can get a refund?

Great game! only one problem. In the place where you find garnet I cant pick up the bombs
