Every time I open the app I have to reenter my pool size and values. Every time I change something I have to tap all over trying to get the changes to apply.
I bought this hoping it would be helpful. It won't even let me create an account. I tried to adjust my pool size and the gallons and it's reading wrong. My 14 by 48 size round pool only holds 3300 gals. It keeps adjusting it to 4000 which is wrong. The clorox app is free and does the same thing BTW. Sorry.
Missing a lot of chemicals, user interface glitches a lot. Login and sign up screen no longer works. Also has a fee for account on top of price for app.
So far so good , used it before . Got a new phone very helpful be sure to enter correct pool info in settings.... i.e. volume, shape ,depth
I am glad with the new update that the keyboard now includes a decimal point. Now I can input accurate Ph test readings. The developer is also in the process of updating the app so that lower resolution phones can use the updated app.
Can't create an account. It is trying but font size to large or small. Android phone. Need to trial run on different systems..seems like good idea.
Salt calculation on the app under tests is way off, tells me to add 6 25kg bags to move salt ppm levels from 2600 to 3100 for 100000L pool, that's incredible inaccurate... Effects number for salt is accurate. On the website the calculation seems to be accurate.
I hate the new icon and the cutesie look and feel. I liked it better when this app had no support or upgrades and reset my parameters everytime I closed the app, which was frustrating AF
Works well allows metric units. But can not create an account to store results. Have tried on phone and though pc.
Need to measure total chlorine...then it would be 5 stars. Also my salt water pool has different ranges, but i cannot adjust ranges.
The letters for ph, chlorine etc.. seem to be missing on the new update. Its a shame you cannot add how much chlorine etc... you need to shock a pool and also add a 1000ml jug. Keep at it though.
Overly frustrating to use, not as good as the website. Easier just to use a browser instead of this app
A little buggy so can't give it 5 stars. But for a free app it is great and easy to use.
Won't let me enter FC value (max is 7). Tells me how much to shock but then won't let me calculate how to get there easily. I'm not going to input random gallons until the effects screen gives me the amount it will raise FC by. Why not make it exactly like the wage page?
The app incorrectly indicates that adding washing soda or soda ash will lower pH and TA. You could run into some real trouble taking that advice.
Cannot register to save my measurements. Plus every time keyboard is up text box gets squished
Incorrect values don't trust results. 2 online calculators and my pool shop all agreed that I need to add roughly 60kg of salt but this app wants me to add over 200kg of salt which would be a total disaster. I have a 40000 litre pool with a target salt level of 3000ppm and I tested 1500ppm and this should result in around 60 to 70kg of salt from memory not 225kg. Very inaccurate.please fix. Steve
Seems to work well but I have a bromine spa and I don't see sodium bromide as an included chemical. As a primary and common sanitizer this seems like a major omission.
It allow allows beginners to keep pool chemicals on point. Awesome
It's not very useful. I can more easily and quickly do the calculations in my head.
I am using this app with a Taylor Service Complete K-2006C test kit and now quickly know exactly how much of what to add to keep my pool balanced.
Helps keep pool balanced and tell you what you need to do so.
excellent and very accurate. if you have a pool this is a must
Can't get my account to register. I would like a refund from this app since you have made it impossible to register
Easy to use. Perfect for the professional pool man or the average pool owner!
I purchased the app to support the developers a year or so ago. It's cumbersome. Have to hit the check box on the keyboard to save entries, which is non intuitive. Doesn't appear to be a way to save tests, so I went back to check the online version and now I guess there's a membership cost to actually save them. The data behind this app for on demand testing and balancing a pool/spa is very helpful, but the app design is certainly lacking and makes what should be very easy clumsy.
