The Pope App gives you the latest news and information on the Pope as produced by the Vatican’s own media services and featured on News.va, the official network hub of Vatican communication.
The app allows you to follow live streaming of papal events, receive notifications of important events, view papal photos, videos, @Pontifex tweets, full texts of homilies and speeches, a calendar of events and links to all the Vatican media.
The app also allows you to visit the Vatican live through the various webcams located in St. Peter’s Square and other areas nearby. All media contents are easily shareable and can be saved for later viewing. The language of content can be changed easily within the app to English, Spanish, French, Italian or Portuguese.
The Pope App and News.va are services provided by the Pontifical Council for Social Communications (www.pccs.va), in cooperation with the media offices of the Holy See, including, Fides News Agency, L'Osservatore Romano, the Holy See Press Office, the Vatican Television Center (CTV), Vatican Radio, and the Internet Office of the Holy See.

Why can't I get a set up for USA? Why am I only able to get "English Africa"? App is very complicated and confusing to use.
Please make that app remember my language. It's little bit annoying that you have every time to choose your language in news section.

Can I get offline mode in English. At least the prayers and the daily readings so when I don't have internet sometimes I can access my daily prayers via app.
Bring back the Pope app! It had great simple UX with clear user journeys. Little obvious difference in new version between the content in different menu options. Where are the Pope tweets? Did you do any user testing with this new version?

Completely agree with Daniel Williams. Just doesnt work anymore, all the interesting features now blank. Was excellent when it first came out, but a bit pointless now. Given the importance of what this saintly giant of a personality has to say to the modern world it is ludicrous that the official app hardly works. Aha, new version has appeared !! Works fine, and hardly takes up any space. No problem with it now .

The share on WhatsApp function doesn't work on my app. It would be great to have a "copy link" function to share the news web page directly. Without these things settled, it seems like having a shortcut to the web page works just as good. Otherwise, put aside minor bugs, it works great!
