Works great until it cuts out every 5 minutes requiring me to press pause, then play on the phone. Neither phone nor speaker were moved during this 20 minute trial. What a pity for I love the programming.
It stops after a few mins. I have to close that app and restart it to get it to continue again. Then it reapeats again. This happens when I'm at home or on the road. This was not a problem once upon a time but it is now
It cuts out every few minutes. I would give a little higher if I didn't have to restart the app every second time that it cut out.
I like what you're going for here. I love RIPR. I listen to it everyday BUT can you look into why the app cuts out a lot? It really is inconvenient to pause and play every 8-15 mins.
App is great if you don't want to listen for more than 15 minutes or so. Then it randomly stops playing until you restart the app.
This app needs to either keep the phone awake or work in the background! Duh! "The Public's Radio - We never sleep... until your phone does"
Love the app but sometimes it just shuts off in the middle of my listening. None of my other apps do this.

App hangs every few minutes so it is not practical to listen to anything because of all the missed content.
Every 10 to 15 minutes the stream stops. I have to press pause and play to get it going. I'm walking around my yard so maybe there is a brief WiFi gap but NPR One and TuneIn apps work great in my yard.

They fixed the weird drop out issue at playback start!
App drops the stream consistently, very annoying
A simple stream of what's on RI NPR at that moment. Not as complex as the NPR One app which is composed of story segments where you can bookmark stories, shows, and it makes suggestions, etc. But now I can get RI news and shows instead of having to listen to the Boston channel on NPR One. I like streaming via my phone better than the regular FM radio in my car because it quiets down when my Navigation system talks to me.
Not quite ready yet. I keep experiencing gaps in the stream. Seems like every few minutes I have 5-10 seconds of silence before the stream resumes .
It's good for streaming what's playing, but not for listening to prior broadcasts and local programs.
I love NPR but the app cuts out a lot.
Cuts out every 5 to 10 minutes, without fail, no matter what device I'm using. Sometimes I can just tap play to restart, sometimes i have to close and reopen. Very frustrating.
