The Radiation Network

This is the companion Android app to the Radiation Network, which is a grass roots Radiation Monitoring group of regular people with their own Geiger counters who collectively monitor radiation levels across the US and the world, to serve as a real-time, early warning system of potential Radioactive danger.
Once you download the app, you can use In-App-Billing to upgrade to the RadNet Lite version for $5, or the RadNet Pro version for $9. With those upgrades, you can view Radiation levels in real time, by Monitoring Station, whose Identifying Criteria, real time Graphs and Spreadsheets are available for your study. Receive any Radiation Alerts directly on your phone or tablet, as they occur. Pro users can participate in our network's real time Chat to discuss Radiation levels, Radiation Alerts, Geiger counter models, logistics of Radiation monitoring, and more.

Our main interface is through a fully interactive Map showing all active Monitoring Stations by colored Station circle, containing their respective current Radiation readings. The Map also shows Nuclear Sites of all types, including Nuclear Power Plants, with full descriptive data, and Satellite views. Zoom in on the Map for greater detail, or rotate the globe to view our Monitoring Stations in Europe and elsewhere.

This app accommodates both passive viewers of the Radiation Network, and those (Pro members) who want to become Monitoring Station themselves and contribute Radiation Count data using their own compatible, Bluetooth-capable Geiger counters.
