The Ramen Sensei 2

I super duper love everything Kairosoft creates especially this application because it's one of the free games they offer. I love the graphics, the creativity and the style! Hoping for more free apps in the future!

In The Ramen Sensei 2, you're in charge of a ramen restaurant with the goal of besting other restaurants in competitions. The game is mostly autonomous, which can be good and bad. After the tutorial sets up the staff, menu, furniture, and ramen, the game runs itself. It felt rewarding to wait and receive new ingredients or see customers level up. On the other hand, I felt little motivation to compete and complete the goal because of these rewards. It's a nice, if not lackluster, experience. 4/5.

This game is very engaging and has a lot of neat features that I enjoy a lot, but theres one deal breaker that stops it from being 5 stars. The game almost never autosaves and I have accidentally closed my game and lost progress like doing an odyssey or making a really good ramen. On top of that, it does save the energy you have used in that time, which feels like a bug and makes the game unplayable for a while because of how much energy everything begins to cost.

Great potential, badly executed. Unable to expand main shop? Can't upgrade facility for some reason. Hit boxes are off making it hard to tap anything and often results in tapping the wrong things. Too many menus(UI, not the food). Expanding not explained at all. Building is too limited. And the 10$ to remove adds are ridiculous. I can understand and accept 5$, but that's just too much for a game with too many flaws. The ramen look tasty though. 👌🏻

Really fun! The only reason I give 4 stars is that gameplay is not exactly intuitive; even with guides it's difficult to figure out the right thing to do, and unless you've played it or read around, the little hint icons make no sense at all. But it's a great game overall and well worth playing, especially since it's free!

It was fun for me until I made it far enough in the game where you can't get high scores on the ramen without paying money to get toppings and ingredients. Without special toppings all that I could do was the same toppings over and over to get the highest scores on my ramen and they were not high enough to beat the computer's ramen. Like others have said it is p2w. I really liked this game until it became p2w and I became disappointed.

Can't really say it is heavily depend on Pay 2 Win, but you can earn medals from customers if you know how to get right combo from start. Even though sugar + vegetables soup combo seems broken, the price is dirt cheap and seafood + shio combo works more effective on creating expensive ramen. Rare toppings are not hard to get because low level capsule (lv3 lv4) actually easier to score on high rank. It is actually fun, challenging, and fair; as well as one of the best freemium Kairosoft game. Even though u are forced to use premium/rare stuff to progress, u can unlock and earn medals easily later on.

I love it. It's easy to have fun without paying for medals because there are many free medal opportunities. Only thing is like many of their other games, once you delete it your data is gone. For me thats good for replayability, but bad if I get a new phone and lose my progress.

Game seems fun, but the lack of clear guidance at the beginning is frustrating. It's too much work for me to try to figure out how to: 1) create more ramen and add them into the menu ( I eventually figure out to add 1 more, but it's not clear how I could get to the level where I can add more) 2) there is 1 staff in the break room. It's not clear how I could make her work. Right now, the maximum number of staff I can have working is 3 (& all 3 spaces are already filled) I have more feedback..

there is so much right with this game... aesthetic, strategy, complexity, casual fun... However, the instructions for this game can be unclear, and the tutorial system for this game could be greatly improved. I will recommend it, but I also acknowledge it needs fine tuning.

Some of their games would usually have a steep learning curve and this is one of them. The restaurant is small (even with expansions) and the game limits you from where you can place furniture. Ramen Hall is (personally) a frustrating addition because it's like another responsibility from your main shop (hire more people, different menus, etc.) There are also little things which you have to do that the game does not explain. I became frustrated when my ramen quality was decreased without reason.

Cant play the game. Once it downloads it wont open. Installed twice with same results.

The loading screen in the beginning is taking so long to load an ad. It's not only in this game but also the bonbon cakery one too. I played this game a long time ago and reinstalled it recently. and there was no such thing as the long loading screen. I know you need the ads, but please make it load faster.

This is what I call a game with good care in the creators hand. They not only let you alone manage a ramen shop and leave it (like most boring games do). They also let you compete with other cpu shops and play many mini games so you'll never be bored playing it. In terms of in purchase things, I don't spend a dime but I could get really nice things. I guess one complaint is that there's things that are really important in the game, but I seem to have trouble in finding the problem.

*Multiple combos and features, encouraging the player to figure things out on their own makes the game have essence.* This is what really makes it different from your casual idle game, where you wait it out. This one is full of minigames, not just running a place. The graphics are cute and pixel, and the Ramen Odyssey and Arena give the game an essence of competition. Bonbon Cakery and RS1 were great, but so is this one. Kairosoft never disappoints.

The game is fun and it allows the gamer to claim some perks om a certain day. However, the game gets boring on the later part of the game, but that is the challenging part, in order to transfer to another area and conquer all regions.

This is a great game. Stable progression. There tons of things to keep you busy from making noodles to shuffling staff around to decorating (which I found out you actually need to do). It's a well built game too. I haven't experienced any problems so far. Definitely worth being lightly addicted to.

This business model doesn't fit for Kairosoft. Some freakin' platinum pass for 10 euros per month for pixel game? -_- And landscape mode only with pass.. What a money grab. Usually I rate every kairosoft game 5/5 unless they implement systems like these... Would have bought this one again for few euros if it was premium game without monthly passes.

The gameplay mechanics aren't always clearly explained (maybe a language barrier?) but overall this is a warm hearted, fun game. I've been playing for a month now and there are so many different facets to this game which keep it interesting and engaging. Great job, Kairosoft!

As a free game, it is a game that good and worth playing. The reward system is generous and the gameplay is challenging. The problem is that finding friends in this game is tough, the system is not able to find me a lot of active players.

Very cute and engaging! The learning curve might be a little steep for beginners at first, and it's slightly challenging, which makes me motivated to keep trying :) It's really fun to create your ramen - from noodles to soup to the ramen ingredients!

This game is addictive. But I have a problem with find a friend. Most of them is offline, I don't know whether it's the system or all the player is online more than 10 days ago. I can't find active player even I spend many stamina or medals.

You can play it both as a mini game and a full on strategy game. The game is designed to keep you feel challenged. Its not pay to win as soms reviews posted. Its a management game so you gotta be smart about the resources.

Fun, addicting, and definitely a good game to just pass time and space out. I'm an active reader so sometimes I just need something mind numbing but attention grabbing to do and this game does it it also has a lot of variety to keep it interesting love it.

I've been a massive fan of Kairosoft games since 2009 or so and this one was extremely fun to play. Thank you Kairosoft.

So far I'm loving it and I'm thinking of playing it more. Just hope that the control can be more easy since it sometimes lag or we can easily press the wrong items. Thank you!

Its a fun game, you can build up your ramen shops you can also encounter lots of challenges which makes the game addicting. I've been playing this for almost a year now. I just can't get enough of this kairosoft games. Love it ❤

The pacing of the game is good. I'm still just starting out but it's nice that there are challenges that push you to improve your ramen/establishment so the game can progress.
