AVOID. Awful. I got my girlfriend a Louie Vuitton bag for her birthday and there was a giant hole in it. I messaged customer service (which is probably random people who know nothing about the app working from home) and they said they could give me 25 dollar store credit or a return. Returns take weeks from these scammers and they know you're most likely going to keep the product. I said "nah you guys didn't mention a hole give me more than $25" and they stopped replying. Terrible app.
I can't get past the click and hold screen, I haven't been able to look at anything other than the click and hold screen no matter how many times I click and hold
This is, hands down, one of the worst apps ever! The app signs you out EVERY time (super annoying!!). The interface is like the desktop version of a 2010 shopping site. The search results don't really show up, you have no way of knowing how many items they have in the results, and no way to intuitively browse through categories unless you "search" for specific items. The app really makes you never ever want to shop from this site.
Attempting to refine your search for anything is futile. It seems like once you apply a single filter you can't apply anymore, regardless of being able to select them, your choices don't stick. Also searching for a particular style of anything, like a square toe shoe, doesn't yield results. Please fix the search word options and also the refining features. I'd prefer to use an app instead of the website but until those are fixed, I'll stick to the normal website.
Site is great. App is annoying. They have great products and amazing customer service. Unfortunately, the app sends a LOT of annoying notifications with no way to configure them. I had to block all notifications on my phone settings. Would be nice to get order or sales updates, but I'd rather not have to be spammed with all their ad promotions on my notification bar to get them.
I used to love this site. great sales, super fast shipping. But the app sucks lately. Not only is it useless to try and look at anything white bc they photograph against hyper-white backgrounds (like trying to find a pile of powdered sugar on a snow storm) but if you click on something to look at the details or BUY IT, the app takes you back to the top of the page when you go back. So all those pages of scrolling? guess what. and where the hell is the cart? I can't check out bc it's hidden now?
Hopefully after the latest update is installed the app will be able to process search filters and browsing categories better. Also the, 'shop' task leads alot to be desired. Based on what window, if you will, that you have open the app operates and filters requests differently (hard to explain), and it can be frustrated. However, I love that pictures of the items are displayed when you browse your order history. This was a nice touch!
I love the idea and layout of the app. But literally every time I use it it crashes. Typically when I'm trying to '❤ like' something. A feature that can save your sizes would be nice as well, like poshmark does. I haven't tried the seller side yet but I'm reluctant to try it if buyers can't save things for later.
I bought a Stella McCartney purse as my first purchase and I was super excited. Once I received it I saw it I was so disappointed. The purse has extreme wear and two stains (not seen in the photos). I went to return it but then realized it's final sale. So I'm straight out of luck and scammed out of my money.
I get many notifications from the app about sales, a specific designer or "that bag you wanted", but when I click the notification it takes me to completely unrelated page. I can never find what the notification was talking about. It's very much just click bait. The notifications very much interest me but the pages it always sends me to don't. It's quite frustrating.
This is the worst app to sell your items. I'm not happy with the sells and service.
App update was required. I updated and still receive the update message. I uninstalled and reinstalled and still the same issue persists...NO access to the app just an endless loop of update requirements. To boot, of the three items I've ever returned each refund was wrong and I had to call (which was an adventure in and of itself) to have them adjust my credit.
I ordered over $400 worth of stuff a while back. Most things had missing buttons or the zippers didn't work properly. Basically things that you couldn't tell were messed up from the pics or things that you wouldn't notice until at least a week after putting them on. Will never order from here again. I don't think they check the products people send in to them or they're negligent and don't care.
After the last update, I have to sign in every time I open the app and get emails about a 'new' sign in. Very annoying. Please fix. Also, the $13 shipping fee and the fact that I am charged for return shipping even if the item arrives "not as described" are beyond ridiculous.
I made some great finds. A couple misses but that was more my fault for not paying attention. I do think they sometimes "over grade" the condition of handbags or sunglasses. But the pics are detailed so be sure to zoom in and really check out what you are thinking about buying.
I never leave reviews. TRR app was reliable more than a month ago. Now it is useless. The only way I can search is via my computer. This is definitely not convenient. I've bought several things from TRR, and would like to continue. I am now downloading another competing app. UPDATE - the app is better. Definitely convenient when on the go!
App signs you out every 24 hours. This is absolutely obnoxious to have to constantly sign in. It makes me want to use the app less.
Bad app design. Can hardly see the details of the clothes in the little pictures. Also it keeps asking me to verify I am not a robot every few minutes, and I have to play matching games for a few minutes before I can get back to the app. Disappointing because others were raving about this store.
The app worked fine for me. I switched over to my laptop because of the countdown. I think if an item is in your cart, it should be allowed to stay there until midnight but I wanted my items. I really like that you can select an already sold item and be on a waitlist. I'm shopping with a Samsung S9.
If you scroll too fast or too far down the app crashes. Interface is slightly clunky since you have to hit the <- arrow a ton before you get to your main menu with like favs and acct etc. I WANT to spend money therealreal, but your app is KILLING me. FIX the crashing!! Scrolling while looking for clothes???
Not impressed with the app or the customer service.
Over the past 6 months I've sent them close to 300 pieces. Recently I've noticed a MAJOR problem with their pricing system. I sent them a brand new Versace jacket worth $7800, and it was listed and sold for $516. $516!!!!!!! Anywhere else online right now it's currently being sold for $3500. All attempts I've made to reach ANYONE have failed and gone completely ignored. I just don't get it. Everyone is losing money in this situation, both me AND them. Makes no sense.
This app used to work. All of a sudden filters, searches come back with bizarre results. I think I am finally done with TRR. You can't ask questions about an item, $11+ shipping....it was so much better when they first launched.
The actual concept and app is great as far as product but the app after the update sucks! The redine option absolutely doesnt work. You try to refine by let's say men's shoes, size, designer and the app pops up everything so basically the filter option doesnt work. Used to work way better before
App hardly ever works correctly. When I hit favorite button it pretty much never works, and often the app will just freeze and shut down within a couple minutes of opening. I usually just use the website instead of bothering with the app.
In need of better filters. Shopping for pants can be a bit of a headache on this site, since you can't filter for inseam measurements. I also wish the size filtering were more targeted; I'm a size 2 or 4, but those are lumped under XS or S with other sizes, so I end up seeing a lot of items that are size 0 or 6 that would never fit me.
App used to work perfectly. Now it keeps sending me to the verify you are not a robot screen! I can't escape no matter how many times I go through the picture verification. I have already deleted and re-added the app. Boo.
App will not load most pages (obsessions, my trr, my orders, etc). Filters do not correctly filter and in most cases end up crashing the app. Liking a product causes the app to crash. Super disappointed. I love shopping on TRR, but this app is complete garbage.
I generally love this app but would prefer to see more refining options, especially in the pants section. For example, being able to choose the rise height, it would save me soooooo much time!
The photos aren't large enough, too much white space. The following options aren't narrow enough (sizes). The app resets every time I leave and come back, so I can't scroll through my search across app visits.
