Connecting wifi from my cellphone to the actual Robo Buddy works just fine, but getting the Robo Buddy to connect to the internet wifi keeps failing, I believe there's a problem with the app. I change the rating and my statement if this issue gets resolved. For now I'll be using direct wifi to Robo Buddy from my device without using internet. Update- it works with IOs but it doesn't work at all with android during internet connection. Update 12-9-2019, app works for android
I can no longer connect to the Robo Buddy through the internet. It works fine on my local network but when I try to connect via 4G on my smartphone I receive a connection timeout in the app. Worked once before but no longer. Not happy camper
A great security app and good for parties... But it can only record for so long and can only be on when the phone is on it dont work when phone sleeps... And is horrible for longer distance.
Does not work over internet. It works fine when I connect via the Internet option when I am on the same network as my robobuddy but on any other wifi it will simply say "connect timeout". No instructions for troubleshooting. I wouldn't buy this again.
Connecting over the internet is impossible, my home internet speed is 960mgps and the network i am on is benchmarking at 830mbps and all i get is connection timed out. This is only happening on android devices.works on new iPhone
Does not work unless car and device controlling car are on same wifi. Please fix this issue.
The robo buddy needs an update will not work over the internet. Used to work great but not anymore. PLEASE UPDATE. Says last update was 2017.
It used to work very well, not anymore. Works on Android 6.
I'm only able to move the robo buddy when connecting to the lan but when I try to switch to internet the app crashing

It's great, When it works! I use it in my office as a camera to be able to see the front door from my office so I can let people in. It's so irritating to have to constantly reconnect it. It just drops the feed all the time for no reason. Really, really frustrating. If this didn't happen all the time, I would give 5 stars. It's at the point now that I'm considering finding a different option.
Love my robo buddy, I hope this company release a robo buddy 2.0 with more features like a autonomous rover to protrol my home when Im gone and ifttt support

I'm a 36 year old man and I can't stop playing with this. With practice I can dock the car every time. Range can use some improvements. It everything else is great. Good battery life, good video quality, and I think most of all it seems they put a lot of thoughts into designing this little robot. I haven't found any bugs yet. It's very reliable and fun.
I like it because it was simple to use and when I was confused about connections. The manual walked me through it, also their customer support was great. I used it farther then it said with a direct connection. I also used it from Florida in New York with an Internet connection.
When it works it's fun, but connection issues plague this possible 5 star app. WiFi connection is great, but the app continuously states is a weak signal regardless if its sitting inferring of the router. Using it through the Internet on 4glte and it won't work!
Could be more user friendly. I can't seem to change the time. It's 2 hours ahead . Also keeps saying connection is too weak even when using same WiFi. Tried it using 4glte and if wasn't connecting very well. There should be more settings available. Hard to change the internAl WiFi password
Thoroughly fun toy and mobile security platform. All features work fine. Better than some pricier high end cameras with audio features. Even the cats are used to it.
Having major issues setting up the app with the robot, even after running through the steps multiple times. The app has a string of errors which disconnects me from the Robot
For some reason the app keeps crashing after getting a "successful configuration" I try the next step which is connecting to the remote internet and the app closes on me and I have to setup the whole thing again. I'll change my rating when the app stop crashing.
