The paths I've taken so far might have been quite short but the game actually subtly benefits from this outcome as it's replayability is gretly increased to a point that even I could not comprehend anymore. The alternative paths you can take in contrast to the original plot might not have been novel but they've been executed in such a way that it's actually quite good in it's own rights. So kudos to the author responsible for this great game.

This game was truly marvellous. Though it was short, I liked how the routes completely differed from the real tragedy. The writing style though seemed lacking sometimes, and the story turned quite fast. But in the end, it was a good read.

I like this kind of alternative stories, and the author did a good job to add a bunch of endings different to the original which really gave you the sense of escaping fate. The writing style is enjoyable - I normally prefer CoGs with 200k words or more but this game manages to make you content with what it offers.

Great game! Well-written and with interesting 'alternative' paths. Strongly recommended!

Brilliantly written, this game offers a new take on the classical Greek myth of Oedipus. Personally I recommend playing with the total freedom option on, so that you can try to escape Oedipus' fate. Otherwise I loved the Egyptian endings!

I actually purchased this book. This story is written very well. You are Oedipus fated to kill your father and bring your mother to grief. Sometimes the ties that bind us to fate are stronger than life itself. With god's, mythological animals, and an interesting narrative this book is definitely worth the read. Multiple endings make it possible to truly get a happy ending. The real story is a tragedy, it's nice having the option to have things end well.

Some sentences need double checking but that's all

Good game! You play as Oedipus, though in this game you can avoid an icky fate of sleeping with your mom. Or don't avoid It! The choice is yours.
