Clunky game play.combat leavesis far too long and over simple with no strategy. The 3rd person style of writing is irritating and reminds the reader that they are reading a story and not immersed in the gamebook world. The book also needs a better editor.long paragraphs and typos abound. Also the point of gamebooks is choice but this book offers few choices it reads like a poorly written fan fiction of Conan. The book rehashes every fantasy cliche, er in the book.Don't waste your money on this tripe.I only realised afterwards but I had this book as a kid and I attempted to read it many times and always gave up.Its no Sorcery.shockingly bad.

This is hands down the best gamebook (series) by Tin Man. The GAs are really good too, then the FFs, then the randoms, which can be hit & miss. But FireWolf is just awesome. Many many hours of gameplay, and great replayability because you can try different paths. Its the best written as well. IMHO the combat is better than any others. GAs is good, but I dont like FFs combat mechanics at all. FireWolf is a must have for any gamebook fan.

If fantasy stories of swords & sorcery are up your street then this certainly will not disappoint. Great read and well put together battle system - in which Fire*Wolf can wield both weaponry & magic to defeat many tough encounters. Highly recommend this set of game books to FF fans to take you into a journey across a rich epic world of barbarian warriors, magic power and mythical monsters. All four books in one amazing package this really is a must buy!

This game is epic. It has a clear plot in four distinct books and is free. This strikes me as a traditional hero story, Firewolf is the chosen one, secreted away at birth and raised by a barbarian tribe our hero is caught with the high priests daughter and is banished from his tribe. A warrior who becomes a slave, then a prince, and then a hero. I really enjoyed this story.

You feel like Conan the Barbarian, but you get to make all of his choices. It's pretty great

Awesome book series updated into a nice app. Would like to see something similar done to the Grail quest series from the same author.

Linear story, tedious combat and riddled with typos.

Love all the Tin Man text games. Well-designed basically perfect controls, good to truly outstanding prose, decent to very good plots. Hey guys, have you considered adopting the early text games into this format? Android and ios are the perfect vehicle for this type of app, 1000 times better than playing on pc. I' m thinking Zork among others. Thanks for writing these; they are a gift of happiness.
