Background Story -------------------------------------------------

It’s 1972. Love is free. Flipflops, English leather and bandanas are the height of fashion. Meanwhile the Cold War is more than lukewarm and a real one is going on overseas. Movements are happening. Environmentalists, the female liberties movement, and on the dance floors an entirely different kind of movement is overtaking the underground clubs. The winds of change are certainly blowing over the country.

Somewhere in the big city, in a tall, faceless government building someone left a window open. All the winds of change are doing here is blowing leaves all over Joe’s newly-swept floor. He’s been there for two years now. Working a dead-end attendant job making sure the building is as spotless as the suits walking the halls. It’s been like this for years, going from one soul-devouring job to the next.

Our protagonist is Joe in more than just name. He is quite literally Joe Average. Average height, average weight, average IQ. In fact, the only thing remotely remarkable about him is exactly how much he conforms to the median of the hypothetical everyman, and up until this point, Joe’s life hasn't exactly been biography material.

This is all about to change...

This story-driven game was real enjoyable to play through, and the puzzles were fair! The story was well thought-out and the SFX and BGM were splendid. However, it's very easy to get stuck and to have to go back and forth to be able to solve some puzzles, which makes the game just that less fun to play. Overall though, it was a great experience and I advise everyone who liked the first chapter to buy the second one, that is well worth your money.

I pretty much only play point&click adventure games and I've literally played hundreds(yes I'm aware it's a problem lol), and this is most def top 5 all time faves of mine!! There's a great storyline, that doesn't take away from the game play thank u devs! Great graphics, puzzles that u have to work/think to solve without being so difficult u get aggravated and follow the story so ur not just finding random puzzles to solve there's a reason for them all.

Brilliant little game offering the first chapter for free. You will have to purchase to finish the whole story, but the first part was great. You basically bounce back and forth via time travel through various scenes and it's not difficult or complicated with a good story line and well thought out game concept. Dropped a star as I wanted to pay and continue playing, but no indication of how much that would be, until surrendering my credit card details beforehand. No chance I was going to do that!

I can't give this game enough credit. it's without the doubt the best mobile point and click adventure I've played, if not the best one ever. (I've played about fourteen) brilliant gameplay, story plot, graphics, soundtrack and voice-acting, all to such a small price. Also it's the first time I've seen actual thought-out dialog when failing to combine something, and not just the default "That couldn't work" or something like that. I'm definitely playing this again.

Well it started as a free game but at the very climax of it you have to pay to unlock the full story, I mean by that point the story is so gripping that I gladly purchased. It's a nice experience with sound effects and puzzles that really works your brain and all but the ending is just very empty. They built up the story so well and at the end it's just a big disappointment. It feels like the team put a great effort to the game until the last part. Great potential wasted there..

I really enjoyed this game. The story was interesting, and the puzzles were pretty entertaining, even if quite simple. My only issues is that whenever a notification went off on my phone, all the sound would cut out until I reloaded the game. There was also a bug in 'inside Archon' that froze the whole story, so I had to restart the chapter. That said, it's still an overall really good game, and I'd definitely recommend it. 😁

The aesthetic of this game is wonderful! The art style and smoothness is really well done. I love the voice acting as well. The controls are a bit weird, they can be annoying to maneuver and make the gameplay feel slow. I also was really disappointed to find I had to pay to even finish the story! Wish I would've known that before hand :(

I had a wonderful time playing this game. The story was interesting and the puzzles we're, well, puzzling XD I did come across one minor issue where the upper right hand buttons would change position, sometimes overlapping one another. I figured I should mention it here so the developers learn about it. Other than that, I had no issues with this game and I highly recommend it to anyone interested in story driven puzzled based games. :)

I thoroughly enjoyed every bit of this game. The plot is amazing and interesting. And although as things went on and the twist was coming to light, I was still stunned of the events that unfolded. Really well done and the puzzles makes so much sense(I mean like there's no unnecessary or ridiculous puzzles) and I had fun. I got a little emotional towards the end. I feel full/completed like I finished a good book. ☺️👍👍

It's so amazing! The story idea and mechanic is so fresh and brilliant! There is NOT one bit that I didn't love! There is no ads, so that is great! The puzzles makes sense, you will also always get a response as to why your solutions didn't work, so you are not just clicking blindly in frustration. The aspects of using that special tool in game that will allow you to see a situation in multiple perspective, back and forth is SO GREAT! I LOVE THIS GAME SO MUCH.

The free portion was good. A decent hook to plonk down $5.00 to see where it goes. This is not so much a game as it is interactive fiction. The game elemements are much like Zork (which just dated me). A little thinking outside the box is required. The storyline is well played, up until the final chapter. I felt it ended too abruptly with no transition. Dude goes from being a broomstick pilot, to timewalking badass, then becomes a cubicle fobbit? Are you kidding me? Bad ending.

This was a fun point and click adventure game, with neat graphics and a cool story line. Even though it's point and click some of the puzzles or situations to move forward are quite tricky at times. The concept of time travel and how they used it in the game is really cool. Only trouble I came across was some sound issues, coming back to the app after not closing it there was no sound and required the app to be closed and restarted for the sound to come back. Otherwise fun game worth buying.

This game is incredible. The art, the game play, all of it. The free to play parts don't feel stingy and you can get a satisfactory conclusion even without buying the next stage (but it makes you want to so you can find out more!) I had a great time playing it and the puzzles were juuust hard enough to not be boring but easy enough that I could get through it unaided even though puzzles aren't my strong suit.

That's amazing! I really enjoyed that game. Interesting story, It was not possible for me to stop until the end! The ending was very unexpected, though rather boring. The graphics are simple, but very pleasant to the eye. Management is convenient and understandable. Musical accompaniment and dubbing is simply amazing. Music was perfectly chosen, and the voice actors did a great job. It was incredible, thank you!

Fantastic story. The puzzles never got too complex and were largely intuitive. I found myself wishing that the game kept going, but the length it's currently at is perfect for the story. Letting the player play the first section for free before charging $5 for the ending is a good move; anyone playing will know by then if they want to put the money down. Only one odd glitch: anytime a notification sound played, all the game's audio shut off. Only turned back on when closing & reopening the game.

Great graphics and sound, but the storyline really seals the deal with this one. The graphics are beautiful, controls smooth enough on the Samsung S7. Only elements stopping a fifth star were that it was quite short and I did not find it quite challenging enough - never got sufficiently stuck for that wonderfully satisfying "aha!" moment. That said, I was perfectly satisfied having paid €5 for the second chapter - a very small amount to pay for a game which was obviously built with alot of hard work, skill and research. Lovely game and engrossing storyline for a rainy afternoon. Looking forward to seeing what else House on Fire have produced :)

Very cool and simplistic concept with an ominous feel. I doubted this at first but was not disappointed. Worth the $5.00 to finish the story. Not your average storyline. Very compelling. I finished in a few hours. I read a ton of comments that read episode 2 had no volume or sound effects, but mine did. Only issue was the sound kept going out and I kept having to close out the game and reopen to get it on again. Joe had some indirect humor which I liked. Great game!

This game is one of the best I have ever played! I never pay for games, but I did to buy part 2 of this game, so that's really saying a lot! Totally worth every dollar too! The game mechanism was super creative with the time travel aspect, and the story was so captivating. Aesthetics look beautiful too. I only wished the developers would make more games like this. I LOVE THIS GAME!!

Sca. D. Jul 11, 2020

This is one of the best games I've played on my phone. It is $5 for episode two, but there are NO ads, not even on the free episode, its really worth it. Its challenging without being extremely difficult. All the puzzles make sense. I've played games in the past where I have to use the walkthrough and the answer is completely random, there is none of that in the game, you shouldnt even need a walkthrough. It took about 3 days off and on to complete and it was great!

DAN. R. Mar 23, 2020

Good story and music. The game is a little too easy and very short but it is fun. I beat chap 1 in a little over an hour. I'm all about supporting the devs but $5 is just way to much for chapter 2. If it was a buck or 2 maybe I would do it, but for 5 I'm out. Def worth playing, just wish it was a bit longer. If u want a great game that is similar with an awesome story but longer and more challenging try tiny room. I actually spent the money on that for additional chapters. Thx for a fun game tho

Great game overall. I really enjoyed the store and sound casting! But I think there are also areas to be improved. Firstly, there is only one type of puzzle which you have to use one thing on another, while comparing to some other escape room games, they have much more varieties. I think it'd be much more fun if players can get various of puzzles. Also, I personally feel the free part was more challenging and interesting comparing the paid, it'd be nice to see more content with the paid episode

The game is quite easy, quite good story, sometimes you spend more time by walking between screens, the time travelling adds nice twist. There are some small issues I didn't like. However the game has perfect atmospehere. Graphics style, sounds, enviroment, plot, everything contributes. Second (paid) episode felt somehow longer and definitely well worth the money.

Although episode 2 had no sound or music whatsoever, the story was great. I hope to play another point and click game like this. I didn't mind paying for the 2nd episode for $5.00. It was totally worth it! I enjoyed playing the game very much! I preferred playing episode 1 because there were sound and music, though. I'm hoping you make more games like this! I absolutely LOVED it!!!

THE. C. Jan 5, 2020

Nice gameplay but the story is too short, i finished it in just 1 day and a half. I am also disappointed at the end. I think the developer really don't know how to finish the story. Aside from that, graphics and controls are great.. hope you guys will create another point and click adventure but with longer-lots of twist story.

Joh. J. Jan 9, 2020

Probably the best adventure mystery point and click game I've ever played. Genius in it's simplicity of game play and format. Great story and background sound. Graphics are simple but artistic. Very entertaining for young and old alike. I played when 1st came out, finally got back to it for the sequel(s) & yes, it's worth the 5 bucks!

Ada. S. P. Nov 8, 2019

Absolutely brilliant game i really enjoy the story based part of this game yes you have to pay £4 to continue to play the second part but it's entirely worth it. It's not a game that can be completed in mere minutes it took me about 4 hours but that is because I struggled at the beginning you have to think out the box for this game and I also believe it's one of the most original games i have played.
