The Source Mobile
The Source Mobile app is a mobile companion to The Source website for use by Field Agents. If you are a Field Agent for The Source, it allows you to take your Field Agent responsibilities with you wherever you go. The Source Mobile app helps you to leverage the unique features of your Smart Phones, by allowing you to use your GPS to find nearby projects and using your phone’s camera to take and upload digital images. After using the app for a few weeks, you will realize just how efficient and mobile you can be as a Field Agent.
The Source Mobile app provides the following functionality, all optimized for the limited screen space of your Smart Phone:
- View information about your current projects, including project descriptions and manuals, as well as mapping the location.
- Input your data, which automatically saves your progress along the way
- Find available projects based on your current location, a particular zip code, or your home address.
- Confirm projects that have been sent your way by our staff
- Check in and check out of a location, which is a quick way to log your time in and time out for one of your projects.
- Upload receipts for any projects that require them.
- Contact support from the field quickly and easily.

The app used to work great, but it has not worked properly for 8 months. Pics cannot be taken while still in the app. When you try to toggle between the source app and your phone's camera, the app shuts down and you have to sign in again. I have reported the issue dozens of times, and got no response at all. Clearly nobody cares.
Love the service but the app is trash. Continues to say no data connection, cannot use onsite some of the time, doesn't retain data, cannot take pictures in the app... I could continue but I won't. Half the time mobile check in doesn't track your location correctly and you cannot check in standing INSIDE the store. Horrible.
Excellent company to work for very quick pay and also good support staff. The account reps are very polite and pleasant to deal with, the mobile app is not always avail for input,depending on the job chosen but when used as long as you have a strong signal it works great!
App used to work great for about five or six months. Now I'm having the same issues as everyone else. I can't download pictures from the app. The app is extremely slow. And it locks up. I end up having to use my web browser in order to finish the report
Everytime I open the app I get a black screen. They send me jobs by email but the app will not accept my information. I have asked multiple times for assistance by email with no response. As of now not impressed.
Can look at most of the things can start a project then unable to complete because you can't upload photos or answer any of the questions. I've had to download this app and now eight times. Hopefully this time is the charm
As of 1/1/2021, Trendsource expects their field agents to input data on site. Their expectation, per their recent email, states that the data should be entered within two hours. This app has NOT downloaded after numerous attempts over several days. Seems I'm stuck with the website to complete within their expectations.
The app has a fatal network area, and after 5 attempts, I cannot apply. Also, when you look at any app and there's as many one-star ratings as there are five-star ratings, you don't want to use it, because it doesn't work. And the developer is clearly a moron.
This would be great if it didn't always freeze and crash when I go to upload projects. It's rage-inducingly frustrating.
Makes completing assignments a breeze. Very easy to use and a MUST if you are signed up with Trend Source.
Unusable. Worked well at the beginning but now it freezes up when I try to enter the date. I have to use my computer to enter shops.
The app has always worked beautifully until today. The app won't connect to the internet. All other apps connect so I have wifi.
I have a problem with an ininternet connection every time I use it onsite & at home. Inputting data while onsite is impossible.
Great app...user friendly and if there are ads, I don't remember seeing any!
Okay at times durring covid it is harder to complete. You get paid the 5th or 20th of the month. May repeat responses so you may have to contact them.
Been trying to become a field agent all day. Every time I try to sign up it says there's an internet connection problem. Not sure what the problem is but it's not on my end
I'm still kinda new to this app but I'm able to figure it out. It's not a difficult app to understand. So enough with the talking let's get to making some money
I have been with Trendsource for 15 years this April. They were one of the first kinds of audit companies and have grown technologically savvy through the years.
Great app. Works well and is convenient
Won't take pictures when in app on my new phone.
Just shows loading when trying to submit report.
App Is to busy needs to be simplified

I spend more time in this app than expected because if the internet connection is lost at least 55% of the time you can't get back into it to save what you've already completed. Sometimes the message about saving doesn't completely upload . I have issues more often now with the electronic signature. The majority of the time it doesn't save it on the first and sometimes the second try. I enjoy being able to complete assignments using this app, but the saving during loss of internet is a hassle.
