Great app for the most part. Flexible and varied methods to view, send, save articles.
Young program, glitchey-- lines out of sequence; hangs up infrequently. Samsung and Asces Tablets dynamics make moving through pages and page resolution challenging. Especially on comics page. Hit and miss sometimes. . Updated 8/15/20... Graphics are clearer. More glitchy. Refuses to stay put-- moves up or down half page wont let me read middle; slow or doesn't focus at all.
The app allows me to read easily even with my limited eyesight. i enjoy it thoroughly!
I enjoy reading the articles on my phone as the text resizes each article for easy reading and of course continues the article w/o having to search other pages. The phone does not do pictures well, so will go to the paper for that.
Used to work but it became a struggle to use. Reading the paper should not be a struggle. So I uninstalled and when I tried to reinstall it tells me that "this app may not be opptimized for your device." Thanks so much tech guys.....
As a long time newspaper reader, I like the organized randomness of going page by page that brings stories to my attention that I would never have sought out. There's no algorithm for that - yet.
Use daily. Appreciate being able to read recent previous editions but would like to be able to look back several months on occasion. I've had subscription 30+ years so I have paid for them....
A good way to get the local news, but the app still has too many annoying bugs. I usually have to restart it two or three times to read one edition.
I like having the paper on my tablet as it is a lot less cumbersome than the paper version
High lighted article sometimes won't expand so you can read it. Then you have to enlarge with your fingers. Email version works much better.
While I enjoy reading my paper copy that is delivered every morning, I like the convenience of having the digital version as well. It works great.
It doesn't work very well. Sometimes it doesn't work at all, sometimes with glitches and a few times normally.
I love being able to read The Spokesman on my photo. it is a great format and easy to use. love it!
It is wonderful to see The Spokane Daily Chronicle pop up on my screen! As I was gowing up, my parents always subscribed to both papers, those papers were an important part of our world. They would be amazed (as I am) that someday their daughter would be reading both papers on her phone at age 84!! Thank you so much. Camille Patterson
The app can sometimes be a little "twitchy" but for the most part works quite well.
App will occasionally shut down or am unable to open it. Sometimes the words are blurry
I have grown up with S-R, and appreciate the continuity; so many things change. Keep up the good work.
So how does a person sign up, become a subscriber? Or is it like a lot of the internet, top secret? Tired of having to run out to buy the paper but already sold out. Thanks.
I love the electronic version of the SR! I only wish the Sunday ads were electronic also.
Took me awhile to figure out how to maneuver on and between pages. One day I decided to figure that out and since then I'm fine.
For the most part works really well. Once in a while has loading problems

Some times I lose the whole app and can't get it back.
It frequently locks up and doesn't work. it keeps loosing my password

Rarely opens on my phone. Poor user interface.
Recently this app was updated to be readable again in text form. However, there are now popup ads that switch the view to an annoying real estate ad. I pay for this electronic newspaper and I should not have to put up with a popup like this that causes me to have to cancel out of a view to get back into the paper. This needs to be corrected!! Is also glitchy. When tapping on an article it shows a different article in the readable text and you have shut down and restart the app.
