Does not acknowledge that you are a subscriber after you log-in. Tech seems aware of problem, but after 2 months, can't seem to fix it. CS says a new account management system was brought up, but not all accounts were transferred. Sounds like the left hand and right hand aren't working together and the e-subsriber is left out in the cold.

Drops my logon requiring me to uninstall/reinstall. Happens about weekly. Tech support knows of the problem, but cannot fix it. Reinstall is their solution. I only keep it so that I dont have read the hard copy every day, even though we take the paper. I hope that they fix this, but I dont expect it. Bummer.

After looking at like 4 articles, I can't read anymore. And yes, I am subscribed. When I call, they tell me to uninstall and reinstall. I have to do this EVERY TIME! Its insane. I PAY for full access!

The worst app you could possibly download. Have to reinstall every 5 articles, even though I'm a subscriber already. Help desk there helpless.

They've updated the app within the past fee months. It's a little better but has a lot of ads

Sad that our hometown newspaper has devolved to almost irrelevancy. Reporting is good to excellent but circulation and customer service is poor to non-existent. Hence, my rating of "3"

I love reading cause its educational and it teaches me of new words to learn about.

I am a subscriber that cannot login and am unable to turn off adds.

This is a question for the sj-r. I haven't seen able to access my account for the last two weeks. Why am I having this problem? I remain as a guest no matter what I do. I can't leave a comment or like/dislike any comments.

There is no way for subscribers to login and view the e-edition or subscriber content. Booo!

Changing from an iPad to Android tablet, I am used to reading an electronic copy of the newspaper. This android app only offers select articles, not the newspaper. Not worth paying for newspaper subscription if you can't read it. UPDATE: an Android app finally releases with electronic copy of the newspaper. Be advised, a different app however.

Great coverage of state government

App has undergone a very impressive transformation from what it used to be. Modern UI with great performance

Have to uninstall & then install again every few weeks to keep it working without subscription. If I subscribed I wouldn't need the app at all so it makes no sense. They're generating revenue with the ads so that should be enough.

The app is free but now you have to buy a subscription. No way to buy if you wanted now how much it would be. Used the app for years now uninstalled.

Like the news layout! Very contemporary

The Springfield State Journal-Register is one of the greatest newspapers in the state of Illinois. Coverage of state issues are thorough and shows insight into the people that live with in the state of Illinois.

This app is very important to me because it keeps up on news and people i love because i live in Oregon

Not bad for local news wish it would update more often but @ the end of the day meets basic needs.
