The Story Of Crypto - Cryptography puzzle game
The Story Of Crypto is a challenging Cryptography puzzle game based on realistic cipher use case events. Solving these puzzles requires player to read all provided content on each stage to be solved. Do not cheat since base idea is to provide everything for a player to solve these puzzles in stage. Some method may require help from my Cryptography application which is mentioned before puzzles starts.
The Story Of Crypto is a new puzzle and current release is base for future development. There's few Chapters to come with step by step way of going forward to eventually come across with these days encryption methods. Goal is to make this a great cipher learning puzzle game.
This game can currently teach you about Greeks time baton, ancient Rome Caesar, Early Italian Vigenere, First world war Playfair and Second world war Enigma ciphers.

• External storage permission at least for one stage. Permission is asked when needed first time.

The zoom is not working for me, it stays the same size and it is offset towards the top left. First level's font is too hard to read and even harder for a greek. The audio with morse code is too fast to hear and recognize the dots and dashes.
It has a puzzle that requires audio. Completely impossible for those that are hard of hearing. Very poor taste not to have any sort of accommodation. No way to advance past.
Interesting and satiated my left-brain desires; Logic! As for the zooming issue, I screenshot the page and looked at it in my pics folder, then returned to the game, we'll informed by what it says. Thanks
The game was very fun and makes your brain do a lot of twist and turns before finding the answer. I just need help in the Playfair and Morse code. It's both fun and hard 😅
Enjoying solving the crypto puzzles. I found the Vigenere key in seconds, but now that I have decrypted, there's no field to input the answer. UPDATE: Found the answer in anorther review's feedback from the developer. On to WWI...
Can't even read the secret in modern Italy vingere It's white text with white background.(phone on dark mode) Can't proceed further at all without being able to even see the text clearly Needs immediate fix
I really like the idea of this game. But I can't find the key to the vigenere cipher and so I can't play. I live trying to decrypt it but I'm just stuck and cannot continue. Also there are a lot of spelling mistakes.
i m having fun so far. it's a bit complicated. I feel so stupid for not seeing the key to Viginere s cypher it s seems so obvious now😂 but i still think the game needs a hint button or a walkthrough just in case
Cool game about history of cryptography and apparently it is difficult one. Heck, I'm stuck at Morse-Playfair cipher already. And I'm not new to puzzle games or ciphers. Maybe I just can't grasp tone right?
The explaination for some encryption needs more details with the given example to understand better. Also, more levels please!
Maybe I'm missing something obvious but for the playfair level I keep getting a UW instead of a SW, even after putting it through an automatic encoder, please help.
Nice game. The only problem I noticed was that in the enigma puzzel the some of the settings were not available in the cryptography app. Anyway I will be waiting for the next release.
This is a great game. Someone says you can't drag and drop, he's just an idiot. Although I need help with enigma, I thought I got the right settings but, I apparantly don't (I got PPTSPDGCPIXRDBRDTM)
I figured out why I kept getting the wrong answer message, the correct answer was spelled incorrectly. This needs to be fixed in any other puzzles!

I just found out the game and it is rather quite interesting, as the developer of the game is the same as the owner of the best cryptography application.
The game is good but there is one problem change the first level to readable English Im trying to understand what it says and I can't because I speak Greek write and understand gree and I can't understand a word that is written I might change my review to 5 stars
In the playfair WW1 part 2 I thought I will only take Roge in Roger because Roge is highlightened with a key ABJKNG I answer "TLCF" but still wrong. I tried to search for the answer But I get TMCFSW in FAQ. I encrypt TMCFSW with key ABJKNG the output is SOGERX.

I really like the game but I can not figure out where to get the key for the vignere cypher so if you can give me a hint that would be great!
I uninstalled and installed it but again I got stuck at the Morse code part (3 or 4). I really really want to find its message but it's always wrong. If you would give me a clue that would be great.
I have really enjoyed this app. But I think there should be a tab for choosing levels that have been cleared.

I love this game! It makes me think a lot! But i recently stopped playing this because I cant figure out how to do the Morse code one. I decoded the morse but idk what to do. Can someone help me?

This game is absolutely wonderful, but I've run into a problem. The game no longer lets me zoom in when I press and hold a document. Instead a window pops up with the picture EVEN smaller. This means it's impossible to solve the enigma chapter because I can't read the texts!
