This app does not work. I've called multiple times to cancel since the app won't pull any of my info up. I am on hold for at least 20 to 40 minutes. They tell me my account will be canceled at the next billing cycle since they don't supply refunds but my account is still active! I've called three times now.
In general I like the app but it has a bug. Whenever I click on a notification the app does not open to take me to the article. I have to open it manually and find the article. This happens with another Gannett subscription app I have for the Lansing State Journal.
Would give it a better rating if it would actually keep me signed in for a change instead of making me login EVERYTIME I reopen the app. Customer service is terrible as well. Local newspaper outsources customer service to India. There's a headline for you Times Herald.
We have a account, but when I try to open a article it tells me I need to subscribe. We are subscribers, so they're taking our money but not letting us read anything. Terrible!!!!!
I have a subscription but it never let's me access it through my phone app. I can only access it on a desktop.
I have to log in all the time. Today it says a certain article is for subscribers only. Even though I am signed in, I can't view the article. Worst app on my phone!
Love getting the news promptly. Hate that the app refuses to remember my login and I have to re-enter login each time.
I need to cancel my subscription but can't get through on the phone and can't find out how on this app.
Does not keep you signed in. Mobile app offers no clear way now to log back in.

Glitchy and buggy. When it is working right the UI leaves much to be desired. The print app works much better.
I wish the stories were unlimited

I am enjoying the digital subscription more than I thought I would.
Was happy with the app I had, it worked great. Now because I don't subscribe to the news paper they want to limit my reading. I will be uninstalling this app as the content isn't anything I can't do without.

I have an older tablet it worked ok before the latest update now it doesn't load at all. Tablet is running 4.1.2 OS Android
This used to be a good app to keep up with the local news, however since I've had it they've cut the number of articles you can view down to about 3 per month and then they block it so you can only see the first line or two and want you to subscribe to be able to read more. No thanks... considering the articles you want to look at alot of times have no real information just check back for details and then it counts as one of your 3 articles for the month....I'll stick with the news break app.
