About The Times of Israel
The Times of Israel is a Jerusalem-based online newspaper founded in 2012 to document developments in Israel, the Middle East and around the Jewish world.
It was established by veteran UK-born, Israeli journalist David Horovitz and his US-based capital partner Seth Klarman. Horovitz is the founding editor, responsible for the site’s editorial content.
The Times of Israel has no partisan political affiliation. It seeks to present the news fair-mindedly and offers a wide range of analysis and opinion pieces.

I'm Canadian and I'd rather use this than most of our news sites. The app can be a little bit laggy at times but overall it's pretty good.
I loved using this app up until a month or two ago when ads began popping up every time I go to a new page, as well as on the bottom of the screen which is distracting when I am trying to focus on what I am reading. This is even more frustrating as I am a member of the TOI Community which is supposed to make it ad-free for me! If it weren't for the ads my rating would be 5 stars!
Good content. A very strong attempt appears to be made to report the news well. My frustrations are with the app and the podcast. The app is clunky and the ads remarkably obtrusive. I've listened to one podcast and was frustrated by what appeared to be an effort of amiability and unnecessarily long-winded commentary - almost as if the hosts / guests are enjoying being heard more than the importance of good content.
Activates notifications even when disabled. Interrupts use of music apps. Quite annoying
Good, well written, bslanced and thoughtful journalism - but the app is an embarrassment. The July 2021 update made the app's ads even more intrusive, jumping in even when it is in the background interfering with an app in the foreground!! Requires a complete redesign, less obtrusive ads and a widget. On the other hand their daily podcast is worth listening to, even though poorly hosted - their weekly one is weak.
The news content is excellent, but the ads are overwhelming and makes navigation very frustrating. They've gotten so bad that my use of this app has gone way down.
There seems to be no option to sign in, so even though I have paid I'm still getting all the ads. I get email notifications but links open in the browser instead of in the app. Great news site. Real shame the app is useless.
I love The Times of Israel, but this app is useless. Parts of sentences get cut-off on my Galaxy S2 making it unreadable. The font size adjustment doesn't work either. This is a great publication and it's really sad to dump this app. There have been no updates to fix this problem and it looks like they just don't care about their software.
I'd happily pay a few bucks for this app without ads, but no option available. Ads pop up too often and are a pain to dismiss, as sometimes I'm fed back to back ads. Love the content and wish I could just pay for it...
Good content, but app not optimized for Android tablet viewing. So, with so many other apps providing a much better viewing experience, can't justify keeping this one.
The news coverage is useful but the app is horribly unstable and crashes after 5 minutes of use. Seems to be related to the built in advertising.
The best news report ever! Very up-to-date, non-biased and great continuous contents. A definite first choice!
App was a great source of news and views until stupid ads with loud music began popping up consistently and constantly. App is now useless and I cannot recommend it.
This app is very glitchy and crashes all the time, also the awful adds are too distracting to allow me to read the content. Pretty pathetic

Your page displays too wide on my Samsung tablet. No way to adjust the page. This is a recent problem.

There is a flaw. I can't sign in to my Facebook account. I just get a blank page with the number 1 on the top. Hope they can fix it.
Totally Frustrating when you begin reading an article and are constantly interrupted by ads. UNINSTALLED
Has gotten harder and harder to access stories, with everything jumping around.
I try to open and get "press ok to navigate" but I never get to the articles.
Way too many advertisements, it's hard to even read the news

It's constantly signing me out of my user and I keep getting ads and signing in is not user friendly. Please fix this issue. Update. Issue with signing out seems. To be OK now. I still can't add comments to posts even when signed into Facebook.
