A little bit of history:
The Twilight Zone aired on the CBS television network from 1959 to 1964. It set a new standard of excellence, with scripts by creator Rod Serling, and outstanding writers Richard Matheson, Charles Beaumont, George Clayton Johnson, Jerry Sohl, Earl Hamner, Jr., Reginald Rose and Ray Bradbury.
The show mixed science fiction, fantasy, horror, suspense and occasional humor in a unique blend never before seen on television. Since then it has been rebroadcast continuously, second only to I Love Lucy, as the longest-running series in TV syndication history. The title itself has entered the language as a term for something that is easy to recognize but impossible to define, a peculiar moment when the landscape of our lives takes an unmistakable detour into the unknown.
Producer Carl Amari, decided to present new-time radio dramatizations based on The Twilight Zone and licensed the rights from CBS Enterprises and The Rod Serling Estate. A lifelong fan of radio drama, Amari knows and loves the best the medium has to offer, from Suspense and Escape to Dimension X and X Minus One. But his goal is not a nostalgic recreation of radio as it once was. Instead, Amari has commissioned fresh adaptations by World Fantasy Award-winning writer Dennis Etchison, based on the original scripts preserved in the Serling archives. The result is a powerful, imaginative series designed for the theatre of the mind. The content is fantastic, but it is very bare bones with no updates. The prices are fair, but I wish there was an option to download the episodes instead of streaming.
I originally was collecting the volumes on Audible but for some reason they were all removed and I was so sad that I only got 11 of the volumes so far and can't get the rest. Then I found this app and thank goodness I did. It only worries me that this app hasn't been updated since 2016 and I worry if I put money into this that it too will disappear and I will lose out on all the money.
How lucky some folk are to remember this wonderful TV or radio series when growing up.Now we can hear it on our tablr tablr tablets or computers fantastic thank you from a disabled veterian. easy to use and pick out specialty shows.
It never get old to me .I wish it could play more often . I like the mistery and the suspense also the unknown.
I really like radio plays and there be more of them but of a high standard...mercury theatre Orson Wells twists and turns.... you can have that title to get you started

Ridiculous. Nothing at all like the original series. I was using it to go to sleep but it was so cheesy I couldn't stop laughing.

They do a fantastic job, the app, the stories, the actors, sound effects... EVERYTHING! and they five you 4 free stories. I can't wait until payday. I found these on audible and then discovered the dedicated app. I wish the TAL app was as good as this.
"Long distance call" was disappointing. I had hoped it would have been an upgrade from the original broadcast, like "The Masks", or "Uncle Simon." I've purchased several of these, but I want my money back for this one. They just turned it into a feel good story. I want my $1.99 back. Very displeased.

Nice app especially for fans of The Twilight Zone The only problem is that it is impossible to utilize storage on an SD card.
I love this app a lot! I watch the Twilight Zone nearly every night and I enjoy listening to the dramas at night, but I really wished there was an option to download the episodes and save them for offline use.
There is nothing here at all. There is a blank background with a sign in/create new account and to the right is a tab titled actors. There is absolutely nothing displayed.
This is a great app, It would be near perfect if it had autoplay, or at least a playlist capability. Maybe you should look at Google play or Amazon Music.

This is a great idea and a great app. Everything is so easy and so entertaining. My only request is I would love to be able to play my purchased episodes off line. I do a lot of camping in places internet can't touch, (no service/no wifi) I have 13 thousand songs downloaded and if I could have my Twilight zone downloaded loaded as well I would be complete. Make this happen I will buy all the episodes.
