The Upanishads
There are several commentaries, both ancient and modern, by Indians and scholars from the West. Among them the writings of Sri Aurobindo on the Upanishads occupy a special place as they are based directly on intuitive and spiritual experiences, and are yet presented in a manner suitable to the modern rational mind.
We present here the major Upanishads in the light of Sri Aurobindo, which may be useful for the spiritual seeker, the scholar of religion and philosophy, and the student interested in India’s spiritual tradition, her ancient and rich culture. It will be of special benefit to the youth who want to imbibe the values contained in the Upanishads and to build a new India in the future.

Really nice app. Thank for this. However there are quite a few spelling mistakes and inconsistencies in the audio and text of the shlokas. Other than that, commendable effort. Thanks again.
very very useful, handy app! Great effort has gone in by the team in providing the original mantras, their transliteration, anvaya krama of the words in each mantra and their word to word meaning and the summary of it! Kudos to all those involved in preparing the app. The glossary section acts as a ready reckoner for any upanishadic word by giving its meaning and the reference to where exactly that word appears! very useful for a samskritam learner too! My humble pranaams to all!
Since many months, I was in search of an app which would provide good explanation and transliteration of Vendantik verses. I tried so many apps but all in vain. Now this app is the perfect match to my expectations. A must have app for all Vedanta students and seekers. All the best to the developer. Keep up the good work. Om.

This app is much more than what I had hoped for. Great work by the developers. I do appreciate their effort in making this excellent app. From one who is just casually interested in the Upanishads to the serious reader, this app is useful for everyone.
Listening Upanishads reduces eyestrain and each chanting create an unique vibration in mind and body. It's an wonderful creation and ll audable. Please inform about other scriptures so created. Congratulations.
it is a really commendable effort to be able to get such great volume of work in the form of an app and on top of it the explanations given and the word by word meaning of each and every word that has been given makes it really easy to understand even for a novice like me. so hats off to the publishers
The stories on these Upanishads are beautifully written in a simple language. I am looking forward to addition of new stories. I have only this review to express my gratitude, but thank you to the app developer and the whole team.
The App is not working.. When..clicked..any of the options..in menu bar..the app does not respond..i see in the development of their projects.. I hope..the developer fix the bug soon.. To add further..i have made a general enquiry..by mail..to Safic a few days back regarding the Veda app..and still i am to receive..reply..kindly have a look into it also. edit: no response from developer so rerated to one star from five.star
If making Sri Aurobindo's works सुगम (easy approachable) is the goal of this app. It surely has succeeded. The UI experience is at par with paid apps. Good app to start your day with an idea far greater than you in bit sized portions.

Very useful for the Upanishad student. The index is quite useful. A search box would have been even more useful. But I liked the anvaya and the chanting

Such a great contribution for any seeker, especially the youth of India, who was sadly clue less without such easy, refined and authentic references of their own primordial texts.
Simply great.. I also like your Gita app but unfortunately i m unable to use it in my Mi Pad which runs on android 4.4 kitkat. It would be of great use if you optimise Gita to work on kitkat like upanishad app.
Good app for listening upnishad if translation in hindi language will be available in audio simultaneously it will be wonderful. Thanks a lot for developing it.
Very informative app but it would have been better if it was available offline... i am from nepal i couldn't find in my language so i am downloading in hindi...

I'm give 5 Star happily if this can be really helpful I want this Sanskrit with Hindi or Gujarati or English than it's gonna be awesome & I love it but i don't know Sanskrit show just Sanskrit it's helpful for me without meaning i can't love this
Just what I was looking for in the playstore. Its just a perfect app. Quality content, no inrusice ads at all, no paywalls and the majority of the content is transparent and translated into English. The one that is not, has a transliteration, so I can copy it to the translator and translate it. I hope those will be translated into English soon. (Minor vedas)
