I like this program. It's simple, easy to use and presumably stores the data in the way it claims to. Trouble is there's no support for it. The email address and website don't seem to exist any more. A real shame because it's a good little app.
Very limited cannot backup information to another phone if you use the same app. Or same account on new phone! Waste of time
I liked very much this app. This a very simple but most trust worthy app to keep password like codes.
It lacks alot of functionality. For example, all entries are limited to just a title and a description. There is nothing more to this app. It would be perfect if users could add additional fields and be able to label them. i would pay for an app like this one (small, aesthetic, not resource demanding, no access to inter,, etc.) however it is missing a small feature, adding fields to entries.
I downloaded 4 different apps before this one. This app works so much better. It's much easier to enter information and arranges everything alphabetically.
Love this tiny but very effective little app. It carries all my passwords for credit cards, bank accounts, id numbers, website passwords... the list is endless. And you can simply make a backup of the info and transfer the file to a new phone. Something I've done across 4 Motorola's now!
Easy to use, does what is said. Keeps passwords secure has no permissions that makes my passwords unsecure.
my saved pw for apps got deleted...you have no restore point
I typed my password wrong and it destroyed all my info

what i need..
I needed a safe place to store confidential data such as credit and debit cards, passwords, membership numbers and other important data that needs to be encrypted. This little app does this perfectly, and with no insecure internet connection. The only thing I wish it would do is group items into categories of my choosing, but I didn't feel that not having this feature was enough to keep me from giving the app 5 stars. It's excellent, simple and free. I couldn't have asked for anything better.
Actually this is the app that that i needed badly.. as i backed up the contents to sd card and format my device, i was unable to restore it on my arc s running 2.3... pls fix... i have so many passwords to retrieve and they are only here... pls do the needful or i will loose everything..
The app does what it says. I like the fact that my information is saved only on my phone and not over the internet. I like that app organizes the entries alphabetically for ease of locating entry. I would give more stars if the information stored would show more than 3 lines and you have to scroll to see information.
I looked and tried a lot of these apps before I found The Vault. This is hands down the best and easiest to use I have found.
Can not store anything into encrypted file. Can create it though. Tried to figure it out but no luck...
The import or restore data option won't show on my tablet. I can export and delete backuos, but not use them. Frustrating!
I like the fact there is no on-line back up which gives me peace of mind that the data can't be hacked.
