Fantastic app that has helped me find some great vinyl stores

The app no longer works. The pop up upon start that says, "You're offline! Sorry, it looks like you lost your internet connection. Please reconnect and try again. That would be helpful if it were true. Between my 4G and WiFi connection there's no loss. Clearly by virtue of the fact that I'm leaving this review now before I delete it, I definitely have a data connection. I'll use the website.

I use this app whenever I am on the road or out of town to find record stores. I have even found stores that I didn't know existed in my area! Love this app!

Started a new job where I travelled across the US. I used this app in 15 cities and found some amazing record stores!

Since new design this is now really slow. I don't like the ads. How do I get rid if them? Store locator defaults to USA even though I am in UK

Record stores come and go. This app provides for user-submitted updates. The TVD staff keeps improving the app, making it great for people who travel, or who just want to know what's new in their own neighborhood. The social, check in feature enhances content and keeps it fresh. Yelp links a big plus. Thanks

This app will no longer open on my S3. I used to use this app all the time, now its useless.

I travel for work, so this app has been invaluable in finding new record stores. In fact, I was driving cross country and stopped in Oklahoma City, hoping to buy some Black Sabbath. Went to Best Buy and was disgusted. Fired up the app and found a local store. Listened to Vol. 4 all the way home. I've used the app on various HTC phones for several years.

I posted some info on your Facebook page so you could update the app. I was completely ignored and without a thankyou. You are ignorant.

I'm a big vinyl collector and I travel for a living. At the touch of a button, The Vinyl District locates record stores everywhere I go. I love this app!

Good app until it started sending me notifications every day. Uninstalling until this 'feature' is fixed.

Its useful to a certain extent. Users should be allowed to enter info about Record Shows/Conventions that aren't listed. Other than that... Very good app!

How do you not feature the stores in NYc?

This app is great in theory and it's still a solid download as it is, but it would be much better if access to the database was more open. It should be easy to add new record shops from within the app, or to submit info about a shop that's closed down. There is always a risk when you use crowd-sourced data that the data is going to be inaccurate, but many big, successful sites have been built that way, including Wikipedia and IMDb. The way the app is now, some of the info is out of date, as it relies on people to submit info via email, then for someone else to process all of those emails and add the info to the database. Giving users more direct access would make the database more accurate and up to date.

This app has helped me in many times when I visit a new city, or when I'm driving across states.

could do with an updated database as alot of shops are missing, however for those that are listed it works perfectly
