Chill with the ads, I'd donate money to The Weather Network if you'd just stop covering my screen with spammy ads. This makes your company look cheap and unofficial, and makes the user experience frustrating when the back button doesn't work. I have to go to the top right and push the "X" everytime I open anything on your app, usually it's easier to just close the app and try again. I'm sure your server loves repeated requests for the same information, because you had to cover my screen.

usually don't offer feedback, but the new widgets with sunset/sunrise, humidity, pressure, and others under the main weather are such a beautiful example of efficient UI that a kid can look at that and understand what is going on. Did it take over a decade to make the perfect app? yes. Is it at least perfect now? yes, and never again will I use another weather app.

This is the only weather app I'm using for years and I'm happy so far. I mentioned that you removed the second page as the detailed observation and added a new bar for that. I believe that the previous version was easier and it's because it's faster. Imagine in a day we open the app for several times and it would be easier to see all information up front, specifically when you are in rush to live the house and you want to have a look at the app before choosing appropriate clothing. Thank you!

Excellent weather app. Unfortunately, the ads have become way too invasive, turning checking the weather into an annoying experience. Pop up video ads you can't even close immediately? No thanks. I've used this app for years, but I'll be switching to something else.

The adds invade the purpose of the app. I get it, you need adds to keep the app going. But they are perfectly timed for when you go to click on something, they pop up and send you off to some garbage link you aren't even interested in. And adds taking over the entire screen while I'm trying to see the temperature? Isn't the weather network government funded? Do they really need to have such invasive adds for revenue?

Developer feedback... I was a Bata tester and did not recieve the latest functionality until I opted out, uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Now I have the "detailed observations" section, which is a nice feature. Additionally, I would like to be given the option to rearrange what sections I view first. For example, I am interested in weather information such as the detailed observations secetion over and above any video stories. Thank you.

The most annoying thing about this and most APP designers is the lack of understanding how we use our devices. We read left to right and graphs laid out in that format are easier to read and recognize. But this APP like most idiot designers choose a vertical format in column form. I don't want to be moving my hand to scroll the page, down-down-down, just to read the rest of the days details for a quick glance. The layout of this APP isn't a quick read. They've adapted a poor eReader format.

I hate the new update. More than I hate Trudeau, even. I liked it better to swipe to get details for current conditions. Now I have to scroll down 2 rows and then scroll across a row. Who could possibly think this is an improvement??? Also, we should be able to place the content in our preferred order, especially paying users. The obvious intent to click-bait us, by having news as the second row, is insulting. Also, I prefered the radar menu choice at the bottom of the screen.

love the Weather Net Work! I need to check weather for k9 search and rescue training and also to know if weather is going to change over the lake. This channel and the meteorologists along with the staff keep the public updated in a timely and efficient manner! Awesome keep it going! Love this station! Love the weather history and all the news stories too!

On a beautiful day, this app is wonderful especially with all the recent updates. But when you really need it during threatening weather, I always get a "we're experiencing technical difficulties" message.

The app is good, but the feature news articles (non-video ones) just come up with "BETA" at the top left of the screen - the rest of the page is blank😕. I'd really love to be able to see fronts on the map😀.

New update is horrible. App becoming more cluttered and cumbersome all the time, despite being a paid subscriber to get rid of the ads that take up around as much space as the weather content. I really don't want news above standard weather info. Now All the weather details are spread out so much, you need to scroll all over to get everything you want. Time to change apps.

Skip the doom and gloom news on this app. Otherwise, great app for the weather. So many features and information. We use every day. We just don't tap through on news items.

Down further to minus two stars. . . However, the radar map does not work at all in my chromebook which is supposed to work the same as an android phone. Wind direction and intensity are not very accurate I depend on that info. Also, minus two stars because the new widgets are terrible not one of them displays the time and date. Why "discontinue" something that is perfectly fine to replace it with something worse also, the ditailed observations info overlaps and is unreadable.

What did they do to the app?! Intrusive ads right when you open it. It's terrible now. You try to view the forecast and an ad pops up right away and you have to wait to click an x to get back to the screen you were looking at. Yuck!

Full screen advertisment becoming more intrusive. Screen shots here are misleading as there are advertisement blocks between ever card. Between the advertisement on the feed and pop up full screen advertisement. This app should now be avoided. This app is the perfect example of advertising done wrong

Please remove video galeries. Since I have a paid subscription, I should decide what I want and what I do not want to see. Easy to use interface and reliable predictions. Would be nice if language could be set in settings.

Do you like ads? Yes, then install this app. Now just a bunch of ads. You're forced to close the ad at the top of screen after a certain duration. It's a sin, because otherwise this app used to be my go weather app. Now, it's just useless bunch of ads. 😔

My go to weather app. I like that I can see predicted weather conditions for travel and all of the videos of what's going on in the world, good or bad, some are of great knowledge and some are just super cute. Thank you Weather Network!

It's honestly the best looking weather app with graphics that display the current conditions asthetically HOWEVER a daily app like this shouldn't have ads OR as a compromise allow people to pay a dollar or two to clean the UI of ads, I'll change this review to a 5 star if they add this feature.

Used to be great over the years but from last few months it takes 7-10 seconds to load while showing just a blue screen background. And it has full page ads now which waste even more time.

There's a glitch in terms of historical totals when looking at cities in the app. Take Ottawa for example, the app says historically there is only 75 cm of snow a year, however that is wrong, as on average there is between 70 to 75 inches a year. I'm wondering if the app is accidentally showing numbers in inches and reporting it as cm. That needs to be fixed because the information being displayed is completely inaccurate

The notification style was changed and is now useless. I now have to expand it to see the temperature. What's the point if I have to click on it everytime? Might as well just open the app! Also, we should be able to edit what we see in the app. I pay the subscription to get rid of ads, why can't I also get rid of the videos list that I have to scroll past to see the forecast? It's visual clutter and mostly clickbait junk. Videos already have thier own tab at the bottom if I wanted to see them.

I have been using this app for years, and paying for subscription, so that I would not have to scroll past advertisement just to see what's the weather like later today or tomorrow; used to be 5 star, but with the recent update I have to scroll down to pass several sections including videos and weather radar (both already have their own dedicated buttons at the bottom) until I finally reach tomorrow's forecast; there are way too many sections on home page; at least allow to hide some of them.
