The majority of the articles are interesting and well written. Sadly the Android version of the App has always had problems, and technical support virtually non existant. Third party ( eg Google) digital subscriptions are especially poor on support. Since issue 1300 I have been unable to read " at a glance" articles for Europe, USA and rest of the world, although the crossword has made an unexpected return after more than a year of complaints. I will not be renewing my subscription.

I love The Week magazine, have been an avid reader for many years. I hate the app, it is truly dreadful! It doesn't work at all on my Samsung Galaxy Tab S3. The support has been very slow. I waited 9 days for a response from one enquiry. The support has been utterly incompetent. They've been totally incapable of solving the problems I've had. I can't think of another app I would recommend less than this one.

Love the magazine and the content, but the app is a bit too basic for me. Compared with other similar apps I find this harder to navigate. There is one big listing for contents. I'd like better navigation from the home page and better guidance between sections. Most irritating; there is a lack of readability modes, just one with a very small font. This needs a reading mode that's full screen and with different font sizes and type faces possibly also different colours.

Not good. The app constantly freezes, especially when trying to scroll vertically and needs to be stopped and restarted. Very kind of the publishers to make the digital copy available to all subscribers at this time (our paper copy is regularly four days late) but from this experience I shan't be ordering a joint subscription.

As others report, for many, many months now it's not been possible to scroll (Android) to fully read articles. Also the app frequently falls over altogether despite constantly re-installing when it does. I have loved The Week for many years but there is no point now when it's impossible to read. So frustrating.

The contents are great, but the app? It's awfull. No dark screen option, clunky navigation, too small, too large, extra too large text options. I would much prefer to read it in a browser but I can't get it to send me my customer number as the option is unclear and gives a confusing validation message :(

This app is terrible does not scroll, problems apparent very shortly after trying to read the download. Purchased at £80, and cannot access on my desktop. Google refuse to refund and The Week magazine will not allow me to upgrade so I can access elsewhere. Absolute rip off. Deal direct with the magazine for subs, I have done that in the past without a problem, if you buy here they can't / won't help.

Unreliable app. Often some pages permanently fail to download on all devices. Periodically get locked out with "You do not have an active subscription" even though the main website confirms that you do. Disappointing as content invariably good. if only you could access all of it reliably.

Scrolling issues and app freezing issues. Most importantly at the moment the app will not allow me to subscribe after my subscription lapsed due to a change in credit card details. When I contacted The Week customer services for help to resubscribe through their app they told me to contact Google Play Services (who quite rightly tell me to contact the app developer)!! The magazine is wonderful let down by app and poor customer service!!

Sadly the app on my phone just doesnt work fully. I often cant scroll properly or get to an attached article. It often asks me to sign up for The Week if i want to read more etc when clearly I am already signed in and paid up. Have tried numerous restarting whole app and emails helpline..but nothing works. Very disappointing. I want to keep reading The Week but will have to stop if they can't make the app fully useable.

The scroll is broken on Android but you can use the Menu at the top left of the App to go to each news story. Not ideal but it's easy and allows you to use the App. The content is very good, informative and well laid out.

There's so many bugs present in this app nowadays. It only gives me the option to share an article via five methods, whereas I used to have thd choice of sending an article via WhatsApp, Facebook, email etc. It doesn't allow you to copy the link to the article also. Driving me nuts! It's such a good publication but the digital format is APPauling (pun intended)

This replaces my previous reviews where I said the app did not seem to work with Samsung tablets, or only worked with a trick. Now they seem to have fixed the problem, and it works for us, albeit needing a restart of the app to go fullscreen on Dex.

The magazine and content is fabulous, I have been a subscriber since day one. The app is not so good. I had a problem scrolling down articles. I see others have the same problem. I fixed it by uninstalling and reinstalling the app but there is obviously an issue that needs addressing.

the articles were okay not really what I was looking for, the layout was terrible, I used the free subscription to test it and then deleted my account and uninstalled the app when I was finished with it,. Found out after checking through my back that it's taken £32 from my bank account so I cancelled the direct debit, DON'T DOWNLOAD THE APP, PROBABLY WON'T GIVE THE MONEY BACK EITHER

DON'T SUBSCRIBE VIA THE APP. GO DIRECTLY TO THE PUBLISHER'S WEBSITE. Something changed. I have loved using this app for the last year or so. The hitch came when my family resubscribed through the app. Google Play only lets the person, who paid for the subscription, use it. The order number provided by Google Play doesn't work so we're stuck sharing one tablet. Such a shame. Great app otherwise.

Dreadful app. Will not load articles, loads half an article. Freezes screens. A total mess. Will not scroll and when select an article from the menu does not load the full article. Impossible to read. How can an app be so bad?

What on earth have you done to this app? Free trial after a few years of being away and the app is now terrible? Some pages just won't scroll at all meaning I can't read the whole article! What an effective way of ensuring people don't sign up after the trial.

I have just subscribed, and I find that the app doesn't work! I can swipe between the articles but I cant scroll down the article. How am I supposed to be able to read this? I have a Samsung Note 8, so not exactly an esoteric phone. Buyer beware.

I really liked this magazine then I changed tablet and it just stopped working. The magazine were no help at all. At least Google tried but it would not work. Left having paid for a month's subscription I couldn't get back. Not happy.

This app has always been substandard compared to what it could be. It has now been amended to make the daily briefing and related content unusable unless you accept all cookies. Rejecting them puts you in an unending cycle of having to log in, then reject cookies, then log in again, then reject cookies etc. etc. Please fix.

Great magazine terrible app Freezes all the time I'm giving up soon. Can't get beyond Europe at a glance if I'm lucky. It's got a lot worse recently it's really frustrating
