Enjoyable and great to play on car rides or just when I want something to test my knowledge. Only problem is that the "find in page" function crashes the game. Found that out the hard way when I was doing an impossible round and was about to finish. When I clicked the "find in page", the game quit. If you fix that, I'll give this app 5 stars.
I love the Wikipedia game, and I'm getting better at it with each game. There are a few issues with this app, though.. For instance sometimes I get to the requested article, but because it's named differently, the app doesn't count it as a win. Additionally, hitting the search page button ends the current game and starts a new one.
Pretty good game, but only one complaint. Anytime I go to search in the page, it either crashes the game or starts everything over. Other than that, it's fun. I'm glad there's no time limit.
Fun concept. However, pages sometimes take long to load properly, and pressing "continue reading" after winning will negatively affect your score. Better alternatives are available.
A fantastic app that simplifies the experience of one of my favorite games to play against friends on a boring day. The added score system is great for deciding the winner on the same number of links even if the only other factor is time which we already used. Plus I feel less guilty about my years of not donating to Wikipedia.
Fascinating challenge that is so much more stimulating than a video game. After a few games, it begins to repeat some entries suggesting it has a limited number of articles it uses as start and end points.
Great game! I play this with my kids when we are together. It would be great if there were a feature that could copy the combination so that it could be sent via text (ideally within game) so that it could be easily played remotely. I truly love the impossible toggle. It makes for some crazy games.
Love this game to bits, used to play it a bunch when I was in school so having an app that I can use whenever I want is great! There are some downsides however: * Find in Page ends the game * If your target page is Orange the fruit and you reach Orange (Fruit) it won't count as success. You must go to the orange disambiguation page which is an additional step when in reality you've already solved it.
Great app, works well. Love that the money made from ads go straight to the wikipedia donations. The easy articles get a bit repetitive so more different articles would be great. Would have given 5 stars if the search in article button would work, my game crashes if I try to use it.
It's great but it needs some features like the others. 1) It would be great if you could challenge your friends. 2) It needs to show the categories as a list at the top of the page like the similar "WikiGame" game.
So, so good! I completely disregard the timer though, i like to read as i play rather than save pages to come back to. I wish you include an option to disable the timer.
Offers a great exercise in learning and helps in developing a versatile library of knowledge, ranging from some of the most unrelated and often exciting undiscovered subjects. It also trains the connection-making processes by linking seemingly unrelated subjects, helping gain a better understanding of the vast interconnected world that we live in. It's an educative, fun and thought-provoking exercise for all ages.
Goes perfectly in sync with my addiction to wikipedia. Its a lot more fun to read the wiki now. Although, would love to have an option to turn off the sound at the end when we reach the goal.
it would be perfect if there is an algorithm to show the path with fewest steps after a challenge.
The game is really good but if there's a dark theme it'll be better. There's a time calculation bug though. It starts to calculate time from 30 minutes after the 2nd step.
It's very repetitive with the subjects. My last match was "The Lion, The Witch..." and Lion. Can't get easier than that.
Buggy. Clicking find in page resets the game completely. Even after the goal article has been reached, there will be no entry added to the game history section if this button is clicked.
Great game. Really good way to use wiki. I recommend this for sure. There are some minor bugs that I imagine will be ironed out. A 2 player mode would be pretty cool.
Really fun and also quite educational. You might not have time to read every article, but you will find connections that seem weird at first.
Search function quits the current game and returns me to the menu, sometimes upon completing a game it doesn't save the results and quits straight to the menu
Good fun game, but 'search in page' is broken as it exits the current round. Makes the app harder to use and less fun than playing online.
I would actually play this game if I could CHOOSE A THEME (for example Art, Politics, Literature, Physics, etc.) of wikipedia pages beforehand. By going from "Shark" to "Banana" I'm not learning anything new and the game just has no use
Great design and works flawlessly except for the moment when I press "search", then it crashes.
The "Find in page" breaks the game which forces you to reshuffle the two targets, effectively destroying your progress.
The game is challenging and educational which many apps today should focus on providing more, but the problem is that the "]find in page" tool crashes the game.
Because it shows you Wikipedia in mobile mode, you don't have access to the Categories section at the bottom of most wiki pages. Wish it had that.
I used to LOVE this game but now its buggy like when I click find page it resets and from what it looks like I keep getting one step. There's no way to get from Sedan to Nepal in one step like...
Find in page doesn't work anymore . The app crashes the web browser and goes to the main menu
It's a great game, no complaints. Ads are far from bombarding and easy to skip usually, gameplay is very simple yet enjoyable, and it's a great passtime if you're looking for a solo game. If you haven't gotten it yet, please do! For the developers: While playing your game, I've noticed a cheaty move that I'm sure is being exploited. At the bottom of every article, there's a desktop feature. By clicking it, a search bar is available for use. Thought I should warn you of this...
