The Zone @ 91-3 is Vancouver Island's modern rock radio station.
Born in 2001, The Zone is programmed LOCALLY in beautiful Victoria, BC. Our DJs are real people who are passionate about great music. We'll answer the phone when you call, play your song, make you laugh, and you'll definitely see us out at a concert this weekend.

NOTE: This app includes optional features that use your location. You can choose whether to participate in these features, you can always opt out, and we limit our usage of this technology. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

I love the zone and I love the crew but this app sends me to a dark place, and puts my phone at high risk of being hurled across the room every time it cuts out or crashes, which is about every 5 minutes if it even starts at all. I've tried updating and uninstalling then downloading again but it's still really struggling :(
simply doesn't work, won't play the music? tried to install it several times. worst app ever. all my other music related apps work just fine, including other radio stations, too bad.
can't get it to work, I get a splash screen with no links. If I tap anywhere on the screen I get a blank white screen with a loading symbol that never ends... uninstalled and reinstalled several times, and it seems ok now
So buggy and the commercials are ridiculous. Cuts in and out often, and when it cuts out you have to go through up to two minutes of commercials before it restarts.
Selecting "win" displays the logon fields as expected. Closing and opening the app. Then selecting the Win option a week later does not display the logon fields. I need to delete and redownload the app to be able to logon to the Win option.
frustrating. Stream won't start when I open the app. Have tried many times. Will uninstall and move on I guess.
So it turns the new app developer just doesn't like Android as much...a complete removal and reinstall did the trick. Back to listening to my favourite shows...thanks Brian :)
Useless. Constantly turns itself off, even if your phone is in your pocket and the screen is off September 2020 update: nothing changed.
app randomly will stop working. no amount of updating, restarting, or uninstalling/installing will fix it. useless app.
Love the zone, hate the app... Completely useless just crashes repeatedly, won't let you login, can't enter contests... 😣
I believe that this app is decent, the DJs (do we still call them that?) are great humans, the music is spot on, and I am a Zoner.
Stream does not start half the time. No indication why, able to stream off of radio player Canada app.
Just stopped working. Attempted to reinstall but still nothing just a white page trying to load the whole time.
Uninstalled and reinstalled on my android, and it works great. Good sound quality!

Still buggy after upgrade. Wont let me sign in to the win tab to enter the weekly contests.annoying.

Ugh. Please for these love of music give us buffer settings! SO many pauses and interruptions it's unbearable. Ads cutting the stream off at random intervals does nothing to promote the products, in fact turns me off them entirely. Strange how the ads never pause or get interrupted?! Thought you said the app was fixed? Did I mention buffer settings? How about a stream quality setting for when signal quality is low? Oh, and don't forget buffer settings! Your station is great tho! I am a zoner
