Could not log into the app after download. I even changed my password, nothing. The functionality and customization of the entire program is low, and customer support is severely lacking. I made several suggestions for improvement but it doesn't look like anyone is actively working on updating the software.
How long before the bug is fixed? My colleagues and I rely on Theranest in and outside the clinic. It is currently useless on the go. For the nickel and dimming we experience to use the software, it could have been repaired by now. SimplePractice is looking better each day.
I've sent the following email to Theranest support, and if the issue is resolved I will update my rating accordingly: I just wanted to confirm that the team is aware and is working on a fix for the android app which no longer opens after updating to Android version 12, due to a reported cache issue. This is a major reason I chose Theranest above other EHR solutions, so I do not feel like I'm getting my full money's worth. Update: App is still broken.
With the new android update, the theranest app keeps crashing over and over again. I reached out to thernest, and they say the issue has been resolved. It has not been resolved yet. When it runs, it's relatively good and easy to use.
Crashes everytime I open it! App notification says it has a bug and to keep checking for fix. Ugh! Yall - this is the worst time of year to lose function of my practice software!
Never works. I use duck duck go for security reasons... not sure if that's is the problem but every time I tried to use it I an told I need to change my setting to allow it access to my microphone and canera... I have tried to do that but TheraNest doesn't show up on the list to unblock it.
App crashing after Android update. There has also been no progress on app for years. Please put some work into it. I use the app way more than getting on a computer
After the latest Android update, as reported, the app keeps crashing. After contacting Theranest, I was informed that this app will Not receive any more updates which means it is useless. Very disappointing.
I liked the app until I was no longer able to load it to log in. The app keeps crashing and saying it's due to a bug issue that requires a fix by the developer.
I too am having difficulties with the Android app as it no longer loads. I even went as far as Uninstaller and reinstalling. The issue is still not resolved as of the date of my post.
Won't open and I've tried to Uninstall then reinstall. The app continues to do the same thing with error message that states the app has a bug.
The app no longer can be opened since Android's big update. I assumed, with all the money they charge, they'd have the resources to eventually fix it, but I guess not.
No longer functional on Android. Crashes immediately upon opening. Have to use the website. Can't recommend because it no longer works.
Has not been updated since September of 2018??! Really? Now it won't even open bc it doesn't work with the latest Android update. We pay too much $ for this.
Update: theranest support told me there is NO PLAN to fix the issue or update the app, and said to use the mobile browser. Therefore this app will be unusable indefinitely.
App no longer functional. Theranest is aware of the issue but will no longer be supporting or updating the mobile app.
I updated my android phone and then I was unable to log on to my theranest app. I am very disappointed in the quality of theranest. If I can't use an app for this EHR, then I for sure will have to find an EHR that will meet my needs.
Terrible customer service when i made them aware of a bug on their app they just said it sounds like a me a problem and everything is good on their end.

Same issues as reported here. No longer works with new Android update. Seems like they would try to fix it. But also considering going to a new EHR.
Just a basic calendar. My agency used it to schedule appointment times for three different office spaces. It worked okay
This no longer works after the Android update. I rely heavily on this app for work, this is extremely inconvenient
Can't use this app since the phone update. It automatically crashes and this is vital to our practice.
Confusing. Did know this was only for practitioners and not patients. I spent a lot of time and effort trying to log into the app. Then I realized after a week that it's not for clients. That would be helpful to know.
App does not work on new androids. Disappointing. I would hope Theranest would address and resolve this.
No longer usable on Android. For our business. But this app is no longer useful being that it does not open with Android any longer. The app crashes and it seems to be due to a bug in the app that they didn't send a notification out or have since fixed.
