Works well with my FLIR Pro LT and Xaiomi Mix 2S. I love the customization. Screen layout needs work though. UI elements overlap, tons of wasted space, icons right on the screen edges etc. Also there's a rare bug that prevents the icon bar from being displayed again. Going in and out of Settings seems to correct it though. Also no love for landscape mode. All in all a great effort that I support with my money. Very functional as-is.
IMHO, I found this app to be only a partial step above the free version. I also feel that the 1st gen devices are better for more defined and robust pic quality for the end user experience VS the gen 2 devices. The USB-C port on the 2nd gen device is an excellent upgrade vs the 1st gen USB mini port. FLIR was very generous with me. When I reached out to them regarding if I was able to purchase adapters for use on phones with a case. I received adapters free but the issue is still not resolved
Works well with FLIR ONE Pro, on Samsung Tab A7 10.4-inch, using a USB Micro to USB-C adapter or cable. This is the app you need to verify that your FLIR is actually working properly, given the pathetic official FLIR app v3.2.2 would lead you to believe otherwise. Only 4 stars, because Thermal Camera+ doesn't have all the features that FLIR's old versions of their app used to have. But it's way better than the slow and dumbed-down current FLIR app.
Works great with Flir One Gen 3 and Motorola One Action. Nice to be able to see the max and min temperatures and the ability to move the crosshair is great! Thanks for helping me get the most out of my Flir product!
It works very well if you understand how to use the camera properly. Lots of manual control that takes time to learn, but can produce a very good picture. Only problems I had was a limitation of the camera sensor itself. As the camera gets hot the grain or noise increases. I have the s60
Great alternative app to the stock one, good functionality and flexibility. the only thing that would be excellent to have is the ability to change the temp range mode for the camera without having to use the Flir One app. keep up the good work
Oddly, the official app just crashes my phone....this one works. 4 stars because while I'm sure all the features I need are there, it's definitely not an intuitive enough UI to just get going. I'll have to spend some time getting familiar with the app.
A great improvement over the FLIROne app feature-wise, but marred by a poor UI. The settings icon covers the temperature reading, and there's no way to move it that I can find. Still readable but will add a star when fixed.
Great for making a Flir one pro usable, however the app is unfortunately let down by visible light camera crashing, NaN for targeted temp if greater than 120C and GUI elements overlapping...
Nice app, maybe not as 'slick' as the official app, but it's much more versatile. Two things: - App crashes when I try to share an image. (Moto G6+) - A nice addition would be a flashlight button.
couldn't use it with new moto z3 phone using USB-C to mini USB Adaptor. Never got it to turn on the camera, but seemed to be able to find the phone and save the teacup picture, but nothing else seemed to work. Had to get a refund.
This app worked great with my FLIR One Pro and my older Samsung phone. The official FLIR apps looked grainy and horrible and sometimes didn't work at all.
Just what I needed, I was about to return my flir one after evaluation and decided to try this as a last resort. It allows you to greatly adjust the sensitivity which allowed me to measure what I needed to.
It's too complicated for the average person to operate the temperature is in celsius it does not show fehrenheit it said to turn on camera but doesn't show how to do it there is no button to switch on and im pretty good when it comes to figuring things out but i have to admit it had me stumped! I uninstalled the app. 😲
Please add support for more phones with FLIR. It was great with CAT S60, but now there are plenty more phones with FLIR.
Doesn't works on Samsung s21+ Keeps on closing the app says "app crashed" already uninstalled it and installed and same issue.
App does not work paid for nothing! It just closes as soon as I open it so it's useless and definitely not worth paying for as I did
This app does not work well at all! It crashes my phone, Galaxy S5. The app crashes. And when it did work before crashing the image was of terable quality. I want a refund.
App has bug! Cannot open app on Samsung S10 edge. ERROR says - app has error, try update afted Devs release such. Total waste of money. I will try it again tomorrow with the S22 ultra and review my comment if it works with the newest phone.
This app need some serious work keeps turning itself off there is no way to use the app properly widow getting so frustrated which one hit the phone off the wall
App does nok work, just closes directly after opening. Get a message that there is a bug in the app
Like the app as it shows max and min value at the same time. Would have loved it to show auto marked (crosshair or points) where those max and min values is on frame at the same time.
Being comfortable with the current flir application for Samsung, it turned out not a good fit for me.
The app is really good, but I just switched from S60 to S61 and it doesn't recognise the Flir camera. Am I just not being lucky or does it not work with S61?
Works great, my only gripe is that I can't take video with this app. Once that's implemented then It's a 5 star app.
Keeps crashing with Android version 12 and Samsung Galaxy S21. App opens and shows thermal image for 1 sec and then crashes.
Absolutely love it....user friendly an way more possible combinations of contrast an color than the Flir app itself
Bugs in app camera won't work. Having to send camera back!
I'm really glad this app exists, because it provides functionality (like locking the temperature scale) not provided by the official Flir app. But the app is unpolished and buggy: There are glitches in choosing the color pallette, UI elements overlap on my Pixel 3a, and I often have to swipe the app out of my rscents to get the normal camera working again. I'll use it a lot, but wish it was better.
