A minor cool effect of a visual filter but doesn't improve my camera's night capabilities at all. The green filter makes things only slightly easier to see, there's no actual light amplification going on which would seem easy enough to add with exposure cumulation or increasing brightness and gamma. The thermal is completely gimmick, using high lumen delta values to determine a hot source, interestingly effective for some things, but a good guesser is all that is.
This app is misleading! I thought it would let me see a night vision style image in the dark but it turned on my flash while using and had a bootleg filter PLUS it asked me to give access to my photos, videos AND FILES. then the next prompt asked me for only photos and files permission like how the android OS usually does and realized that the app was trying to ask separate permission for access. I didn't like that experience at all!
I found it amazing! I would highly recommend this to anyone who would like to have a thermal camera for free. it does not work in pitch black unless you have your flashlight on. It does have a feature though that turns the flashlight on when you tap the screen. I found it fun, it is definitely a good app.
I need to use it more to give a more informed opinion. I like the ease of switching to thermal. It is a very clear image. Better than alot I have tried. I rated at 3 only because it was downloaded less than 10 minutes ago. I kept my experience down the middle due to this fact. I will welcome the opportunity to grade this application again after I familiarize my self to the abiliyies of performance, or any detriments thereof. Sincerely, Ms. Jolene Rae Fellows
Of course too many ads but u wish you could zoom in and out with better control. And I would prefer to not be forced to use the flashlight in order to see....defeats the purpose.
Awesome app these people put out. The transition to different levels of light is very good and quality over all is the closest to the real thing plus the best app we have seen in a long time. GOD BLESS YOU
Only thing that I have to complain about with it so far is that it doesn't take pics like this or record videos either! I don't in my opinion that is a must have for an app of this sort! Lol I'm not done exploring it yet just honestly opened it up and clicked 2 or 3 of the buttons 🔥
This is a joke. When you open it, it pop up three choices which all have to be separate downloads, total BS. Don't waist the space on your phone or device for this app.
Don't let them fool you if you can get through the adds then you might be able to see what it can or can't do! Me way to many adds for what it's worth and that's less than one star don't waist time on this useless scrap app
This is NOT an apps that can convert our smart phone to become a thermal camera that detects heat. It will instead convert any light or REFLECTION OF LIGHT to become red as if indicate heat. Any dark surface become blue (indicate as cold)
This camera app is great! It helps me to see items and figures much easier in the evening. I can see and recognize lots of things that I was unable to see without this app. This is my favorite camera app for evenings outside. 😊
This is so cool. I swore up down and sideways I would never never have a smartphone. I have so many cool apps on here I could probably play with this thing forever. I get two smartphones now having a blast and I really like this app I'll be getting more apps from the store I think I need a bigger phone Mega Everything
Night vision camera..... that does not work at night. It is pathetic. You have to use your torch for it to work and is just rubbish to use. 2 stars because it is REALLY fun to play with. That is my only positive comment. Other than that it is rubbish. Please don't get it because it just uses up your battery and doesn't work.
Charged for ad free but could never use, just kept closing when I hit start. Don' t waste your money..be careful it is a subscription and they will keep charging you unless you cancel.
It turns red the light sources but the use is quite unforeseeable because you also see the visible light. Interesting though.
Horrible app and full of Ad's (literally a few seconds however, I always give ratings to apps, P2P, B2B, etc. whether good or bad, and this is by far the WORST APP on Google Play.
It looked cool when i downloaded it but then i used it and it wont work after dark plus it looks like it just adds a cote of color to every thing u point it at dont download this.
If I wanted ads every 2 seconds its wonderful. Didn't even get to use it because of the continuous ads.
not to bad only if it didn't use flash when detecting heat I like to see what's out there with out being seen and able to take pics that be great feature but it's nice to pass the time
It doesn't detect heat from animals or humans. It only detects lights and the reflection of light.
Half expected it to just turn on my phone light and tint my screen green. Regardless it just changes "heat" based on where light is.
bad can't mute the noise when turning on the heat vision and you cant change the color like other apps do.
Too many ads. Once downloaded it sends an ad before you can use the app. This is a useless app.
Love this app. I use it to see in my home as well as yard as I live in the desert. love to see which animals are lurking around at night. The camera shows me all I need to see. Great Camera and easy to use.
So cool when I can't see. It's a lot better than having x Ray. Overall it's a have t buy. Amazing. It's legitimate, I tried it on everything tea, hands, feet and radiators.
Ive never seen or used an app that might actually detect thermal.. and im not sure if it works correctly but its a great idea so for now ill do 4 starz, since they insist on leavibg a review so early in the usage.
I just tried this app for the first time and think it is insanely interesting. It not only allowed me to use night vision but infared as well. Good job keep working this will only get better!
It's an interesting app. But to call it Thermal Night Vision is misleading. That name implies it reads and colors images by heat. This is not at all true. The app reads and colors an image based on light. Looking at my 52" TV show a 4" space around the screen as hot. The center of the screen was cold. But the video I was watching was reduced in size and very dark. Same thing with an image of my grandson. One side of his face was lit up, but was from the light across the room.
